Set in its own secure, extensive, well tended gardens and swimming pool; breakfast can be taken on the terrace. You need your own car to access nearby eateries for lunch and dinner; Andrea and his helpful staff offer guidance. Don’t miss sunset looking across the bay, from some of them, towards Ortigia. Our downstairs room opened on to the terrace, gardens and a short walk to the pool. All was very clean, tidy and well provided.

Excellent breakfast. Private parking. Exceptionally service minded host (Andrea) helped us with restaurant recommendations etc. The friendly lady at the breakfast served us morning coffee an hour before the breakfast actually opened. Nice garden and outdoor area.

Pool area close early (18:00) and opens late (10:00). Restaurant has to be prebooked, so in general not open.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful building with a pretty garden, and our room was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant and breakfast were both very good. This hotel has excellent parking facilities and is very secure. While we did not use it, the hotel also has a stunning swimming pool. Highly recommended.

The breakfast offerings were very varied and of excellent quality. We had the option to eat either inside or in a pergola area in the garden close to the hotel building. Having stayed in other hotels on our holiday in Sicily we rated the breakfast very highly. Our room was lovely and we had a balcony with a great view and also a window looking in another direction which made the room very bright and allowed a drought to flow through the room which certainly helped as the sun was shining brightly during our stay there. Our room number was 201. Just below our balcony we had a number of lovely plants/bushes which were quite beautiful and one of which opened its flowers at night time and another which released a beautiful perfumed scent which we could sense in our room. The hotel garden was very well kept with a variety of shrubs and trees and the gardener should be commended for his good work. The swimming pool was exceptional and it was situated between the hotel building and the hotel restaurant. The hotel itself is quite small but gives you a sense of cosiness. You would need to have your own form at transport to stay here as the hotel is located in the countryside and is quite isolated but its quite close to a lovely beach at Arenella and just a 15 minute drive to Siracusa. The hotel staff ate all very helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome and are always willing to help you out. I highly recommend staying Villa Fnausa as it will certainly enhance your stay in this beautiful part of Sicily.

There was no aspect of our hotel stay that we disliked.

The garden, the pool (!!!!) and the rooms were exceptional. Especially the cute balcony. It feels like a little paradise garden

Closed restaurant, that we didn’t know about, which could be nice to be informed of beforehand. But the staff compensated for it which was perfect 🥰 we loved it

Family room ok for one night but for longer would be a bit small. The area is rather industrial, so a car is necessary.

Such a beautiful accommodation in a quiet place but only 10 minutes from Siracusa away. Perfect location if you plan to tour the southern part of Sicily. We visited Noto and Ragusa and had dinner in Ortigia. The outside area with pool sold it to me and when we arrived it was exactly as described. We were lucky to have the pool all for ourselves. At night the place was beautifully lid up. Good breakfast to be able to have outside on the terrace. Very friendly staff and reception. Plenty of parking inside a gated area.

Hotel is well located outside Syracuse with beautiful gardens and superb swimming pool. Parking onsite with easy access.
