Situated a short walk from the Roman Coliseum and within walking distance of the entire old town, Massimago wine suites is perfectly positioned to explore the beautiful city of Verona. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped and excellent aircon (needed in 33° heat). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast box, delivered to your room, was extensive (yoghurt, fruit, juice, croissant, meats, cheeses etc) . Could not recommend more highly.

The location is wonderful, just near the arena. There is parking, however not enough for all guests. I booked two rooms and we were just with one car, still all on-site parking spots were booked out. The staff is amazing, very welcoming and kind. They are always trying to find a solution and help. The place has wine friges with artisan wine from their own vineyards, which is of high quality. The rooms are big and nice.

The double bed is made of two mattresses put together, thus there is a shaft in the middle of the bed and its uncomfortable to sleep, because I was always falling in there. All pillows were very stiff and caused neck pain the other day. For me, these two things are a deal breaker and will make me seek a different accommodation, despite all other great things.

Great location for a couple of nights in Verona. Minutes from the Arena. Nice large room. We ordered the breakfast one morning which was very good but huge - enough for four (but maybe our appetites are small)!

We were grateful for the air conditioning but it was a bit noisy and one of the windows didn’t have shutters and the curtains let in the morning light.

Perfect location in the old town, close to the arena, and in walking distance of all the major attractions. Sara was super helpful. We arrived around 11am with the expectation of leaving our bags and checking in later, but our room was already available, so we were able to check in early. This kind of flexibility scores points. Hamper style breakfast delivered to our room in the morning was a big hit. Quality ingredients, warm croissants - the missus loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. The location is excellent, just a few mins walk to everything..shops, restaurants, attractions and the opera arena is just around the corner. It was also just a short drive (10mins max) in taxi from the train station. The room that we stayed in was very spacious, bright and modern. The beds are huge and very comfortable with lovely crisp white linen. There were also lots of little extras in the room such as a coffee machine, tea pot, water, fridge, slippers, toiletries (shampoo, body wash, dental kit, beauty kit) even a piano … the place has everything 😄 The breakfast is dropped to your room at a time you choose and arrives in a hamper box. It was perfect, we had great fun searching through it in the morning. The staff at reception are very helpful and friendly here. We were always greeted with a smile and a hello. It’s a thumbs up from us and we look forward to returning 👍

There was just one thing. The shower is in the corner of the bedroom separate to the bathroom. It is a beautiful huge shower but lacks privacy when sharing with family and friends. Perhaps the glass could be frosted a little more. It’s a talking point tho 🤣

I feel like it being a wine suite it should have included at least 1 bottle of wine on the house, the bottles for sale in the fridge were way overpriced so we just purchased our own out locally for almost a tenth of the cost.
