The staff was very pleasant on every encounter. The breakfast was decent. However you could see the facilities are quite old. The elevators did not feel safe and seemed to be glued together. You could see some of the caulking where repairs are made. And it was quite shaky! quite shaky. The room was clean. However, the facilities need updating! You can see from the tub to the baseboards and the floor that it needs updating! Otherwise, I had a great stay.

I didn't like that when I booked through booking.com, I was locked in and was unable to change my reservation as needed This stay was booked for a funeral which was rescheduled last minute due to weather related issues. YOUR SITE WOULD NOT allow me to make any changes. Once I got to the hotel, I found out that I WOULD HAVE been allowed, had I booked directly through them.

The location to the beach was just close enough to walk to everything we needed, but just far enough away that it was quiet not alot of traffic.

God bless the Navy pilots but the air crafts flying over all day every day was a little much. I know that is out of your control so that is not a dislike for your hotel. The only 2 complaints I have is the no house keeping during your stay I feel that even if they don't come change the sheets on the beds that we should get clean towels we were there 4 nights an had to go to the front desk an ask for clean towels. Also the mini fridge would only work if u turned it on high but then it froze everything. Other than that we would stay here again

I didn’t like the fact that I originally had reservations for 1 night 10/27 added an additional night for 10/26, arrive at the hotel late around 11 checked in paid fine. Friday night around 10 got a knock on the door that I need to come down stairs and pay that my reservations was cxl.Long story short my reservations was separate instead of together so I had to pay to separate payments versus paying everything together, I thought the desk clerk charged me for 2 nights come to find out she didn’t inconvenience and hotel mixed up.Also I think it is Ridiculous to charge your hotel guest Parking fees when the are staying at the property .

Free breakfast was very nice My husband likes the waffles. The central location was good. It was easy to walk around and close to the beach Andres at the front desk was very friendly and helpful

The shower had leftover used wash clothes There were minimal supples in the bathroom No lotion or tissues The elevator was a bit beat up

I was on the top floor and while I didn't have a direct view of the water, I could see the ocean if I angled myself enough to look out the window! The check in/ out process was easy, and I was within 2 BLOCKS of the ocean boardwalk and the Neptune statue wasn't far either. Great location, felt safe, lots of cool places to check out within a 10-15 min drive or walking distance. The bed was comfortable.

Parking was extra; had to pay per night, but free if military. But there were ample parking spots. House cleaning was running behind, so couldn't check in promptly at 3. Decided to grab dinner and afterwards my room was ready--closer to 5-6 pm.

Great location. There is a front desk person named Tonya(sorry if I am spelling it incorrectly) that went over and beyond in order to assist us. There was also a very polite gentleman that worked the front desk, (his name started with "Mont") who was courteous and smiled throughout our conversation. The breakfast attendant, white female thin build was great as well as an additional young African American male who replied "you got it ma'am" if I had any requests. The entire staff was awesome. Once left I expressed to my family how exceptional of a facility this is and that it is ideal for future family vacations.

The property is advertised as on the beach it’s a block away and the breakfast options were bland but good

Had to pay $15.00 a day to park . We were not told this when we booked. We will not stay again. There are hundreds of hotels in Virginia Beach that do not charge for parking. 😡

The rooms were updated, clean, and neat.

The hallways and elevator were a little outdated. Wished the bathroom had a little more space to move around in.
