The staff was very pleasant on every encounter. The breakfast was decent. However you could see the facilities are quite old. The elevators did not feel safe and seemed to be glued together. You could see some of the caulking where repairs are made. And it was quite shaky! quite shaky. The room was clean. However, the facilities need updating! You can see from the tub to the baseboards and the floor that it needs updating! Otherwise, I had a great stay.

I didn't like that when I booked through booking.com, I was locked in and was unable to change my reservation as needed This stay was booked for a funeral which was rescheduled last minute due to weather related issues. YOUR SITE WOULD NOT allow me to make any changes. Once I got to the hotel, I found out that I WOULD HAVE been allowed, had I booked directly through them.

The location to the beach was just close enough to walk to everything we needed, but just far enough away that it was quiet not alot of traffic.

God bless the Navy pilots but the air crafts flying over all day every day was a little much. I know that is out of your control so that is not a dislike for your hotel. The only 2 complaints I have is the no house keeping during your stay I feel that even if they don't come change the sheets on the beds that we should get clean towels we were there 4 nights an had to go to the front desk an ask for clean towels. Also the mini fridge would only work if u turned it on high but then it froze everything. Other than that we would stay here again

I didn’t like the fact that I originally had reservations for 1 night 10/27 added an additional night for 10/26, arrive at the hotel late around 11 checked in paid fine. Friday night around 10 got a knock on the door that I need to come down stairs and pay that my reservations was cxl.Long story short my reservations was separate instead of together so I had to pay to separate payments versus paying everything together, I thought the desk clerk charged me for 2 nights come to find out she didn’t inconvenience and hotel mixed up.Also I think it is Ridiculous to charge your hotel guest Parking fees when the are staying at the property .

Free breakfast was very nice My husband likes the waffles. The central location was good. It was easy to walk around and close to the beach Andres at the front desk was very friendly and helpful

The shower had leftover used wash clothes There were minimal supples in the bathroom No lotion or tissues The elevator was a bit beat up

It was very clean , staff was nice , def get your money worth

The property is advertised as on the beach it’s a block away and the breakfast options were bland but good

Had to pay $15.00 a day to park . We were not told this when we booked. We will not stay again. There are hundreds of hotels in Virginia Beach that do not charge for parking. 😡

The rooms were updated, clean, and neat.

The hallways and elevator were a little outdated. Wished the bathroom had a little more space to move around in.

Breakfast was good, there were plenty of waffle makers. A pool and nice gym was available. And it was only a block away from the beach. We walked there everyday.

PAYING FOR PARKING! That’s insane. For the price we paid and the $250 deposit, parking should have been included. Especially for the price per day. Yeah, absolutely not! If it was mentioned when I was booking then I honestly wouldn’t have booked it. People are already paying a lot to stay there, it’s sad to be honest. And I know every hotel charges a “just in case you damage something” fee, but it’s so inconvenient when people travel. We want to feel secure financially, not limit ourselves because we have to pay basically over $1000 as soon as we check in. That’s insannnneee!!! But the staff was friendly, the rooms were comfy, no bugs, so overall, 8/10.

We were nervous about staying here due to some negative reviews. Our room was nice and clean, the staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. They had three waffle irons, some eggs and sausage, a few cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, and juices. The staff member attending breakfast did a great job refreshing the items and was very polite. My family of four was quite satisfied, including my picky eater.

My only gripe was having to pay for parking. You pay a particular rate according to the length of your stay and you have in/out privileges the whole time.
