The exterior door nearest to our room and where we parked didn't grant us access with our room key. This left my handicap Mother standing at the door while I went all the way around the building to the front desk to "update" my room key because I was told that putting it next to my cell phone deactivated it. I tested it when I returned and it still didn't work. The ice machine on our floor didn't work and the lobby store had warm drinks for sale because the cooler they were in wasn't working.

The location near the dunes and unique restaurants(walk to or several minutes'drive). The setting in the Coffee Crreek preserve which was fun and relaxing to hike around. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our 2 little dogs and there were places to walk them. The breakfast was part of our stay and was exceptionally good with continental or cooked to order options.

The breakfast and dinner options were confusing. I had to ask how it worked and what was available to me since prices were posted and the stuff you could buy from their shop, including coffee was adjacent. Most of the staff were friendly enough and professional acting, but it could have been more welcoming. It is a trend, it seems, for some persons employed in hospitality to not smile or welcome customers and just barely do their jobs.

Our room was big and comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the hotel had a nice bar in the lobby. The hotel is walking distance from a few good restaurant options. We walked to Root and Bone which is across the street and had a lovely meal.

The breakfast options were very good. My husband had the continental breakfast and I ordered an egg white omelette. Unfortunately, my eggs were not fully cooked (the whites were still runny) so I wasn't able to eat it. The staff were very apologetic and gave us both complimentary continental breakfasts.

The breakfast was good. Potatoes were excellent and my husbnad loved his fruti bowl and avacado toast.

We would have liked to have had dinner there, but the restaurant was closed on Sunday. The bathrooms on the main level with difficult for one of us to handle with a walker and healing of a broken wrist. It would have been uch more pleasant not to struggle with entering and exiting the bathrooms.

Very nice hotel. Renovations were ongoing so common areas of the hotel were not shown to their best. Room was a good size and updated. Very comfortable. Bob Evans restaurant is right next door. Other restaurants were very close. Hotel located close to the highway. Breakfast was confusing. We weren’t sure what was included in our stay because you can pay extra for a full breakfast.

Blinds in room held up with two bull clips. Sink drained slowly. Confusing entrance because of renovations in the lobby. Painting going on in the parking lot. Breakfast confusing.

Everything was great minus the pool area. There weren’t towels available when we went and the hot tub was broken for the duration of our stay. It was a minor inconvenience but still unfortunate that it was broken. Somehow it managed to get colder than the actual pool as well.

The only down fall was the non functioning hot tub.

As advertised. Quick drive off of highway 90, quick drive to Dunes. There was a pool, but was quite busy in the evening so we skipped it. Beds were comfortable, room seemed clean. Staff were very nice, patient with us and other guests, let us hang out in the lobby for a while after we'd checked out.

It's a picky thing, but there are 2 levels of wifi, so if you want to do more than check your email, it's another $5 or you "become a member". This just made the place feel cheap. We're already paying for the room. In every other hotel I've been to, any number of stars, decent wifi is standard, not a perk or "extra".

Overall, the location was great, near the dunes (about 9 min drive). Rooms where well kept and restaurant staff was great.

Faulty communication between reception staff members. We requested a late checkout the night of our check-in and where granted late checkout till 1pm, however the next day, the staff where knocking on our door around 12:40pm asking if we where checking out that day. We also heard the staff complaining in the lobby after we checked out at 1pm. This makes a pleasant stay, be not so pleasant in the end due to faulty communication between reception staff members. If you offer late checkout, it needs to be honored as such.

EVERY SINGLE THING. Especially the recycled utensils in the dining area! THANK YOU for that!!!

The dog next door barked ALL NIGHT LONG. ALL. NIGHT. Come to find our, the human stays there full-time, and someone from the hotel was supposed to go feed him and let him out. Me nor my husband slept a wink ALL NIGHT. I wasn't complaining (dog mother, too) until I found out this goes on EVERY day - to EVERY human who stays in my same room!!!!!! They just laughed it off like, "Oh, well!" Really? Did YOU get sleep last night? Jesus! It's one thing to allow dogs, but sweet Lord, THAT is uncalled for!!! I payed all that money to NOT get sleep?!?!?!? And then git laughed at? Not happy!

Staff was amazing. Special shout out to the woman handling breakfast on Christmas day. She was absolutely amazing and was so attentive to everyone. Everyone was great, but she really stood out.

Front doors to hotel (sliding) were off track. There was a soft spot at carpet floor transition and the bath tub has a void, which causes tub to feel unsafe. Room 313
