I like the location and the room was comfortable, also the pool actually worked. I felt like the breakfast could be improved, for the amount I payed for the room compared to other hotels in the area but I still walked away satisfied. I will say as for the construction of the building I was surprised it wasn’t built as well as other buildings. The type of construction was rather cheep but most people won’t even see what I know about construction durability. I understand it’s an economy type hotel but the owners aren’t going to like having to pay for tuck-pointing around those windows In The years to come, the brick is going to sag and be a financial issue later down the road, it could have been resolved very inexpensively. The coffee was rather weak , sorry but it was not very strong at all and there was not any flavored creamer, that was kind of a drag for me.

Cleanliness of room and breakfast were good. Location of hotel was a benefit.

Not sure what was happening during our stay. Must have been some sort of repair work of other reason for big rigs and other vehicles making parking a little difficult. I don't necessarily blame you, but it was challenging to park each night.

Cleanliness of linens, bathroom floors and new drapes and carpeting. A good microwave and frig allowed us to make our own breakfast we brought with us as my husband is a diabetic. The hotel was close to everything including many restaurants and the Chicago Street theater and the Memorial Opera house. Downtown Valparaiso’s Christmas decorations could rival Chicagos. The hotel is the most reasonable priced in the area. We would book again.

Maybe more breakfast choices, but then they would have to raise their prices. As I said the microwave and frig in the room solved that problem for us. Also we requested a ground floor room as there is no elevator for disabled seniors, but they accommodated us with a ground floor room.

The parking lot was not real lit with lighting. The main light pole in the middle of the parking lot wasn't even working. Also, the end doors to the hotel was not locked after dark. You could just walk in and go anywhere in the hotel you wanted. Total access to all the rooms on all the floors. Didn't make you feel very safe.

They worked with us on having a 1st floor room cause of my handicaps it very friendly and cleaned and desk was amazing

I didn't like their breakfast needs to have better and more options and maybe add like hot eggs and bacon or sausage links .they come boxed and all you have to do is heat serve.

There was a 24-hour coffee bar in the lobby. There was a nicely updated lobby, halls, and room. Also, there were two comfortable chairs in the room, and a very roomy bathroom.

Because I am allergic to white and brown sugar, and since the breakfast items were all packaged and sugar-based pastries, the only thing I could eat was an orange for breakfast.

The property is very clean. I have stayed there on multiple occasions. The staff, CINDY, SHERRY and AMY are always willing to go out of their way to accommodate us. I enjoy the light food items available each morning and the very comfortable breakfast area off the lobby

Great place for the price, restaurant within walking distance, friendly staff and clean room.

The only complaint we have is that there were alot of cable workers staying there as well and had several very large trailers taking up all of the parking lot.

Very comfortable clean large room. Lots of pillows. Good shower. Didn't hear any other guests. Enjoyed the pool even though it wasn't the nicest ever

Grab and go breakfast was lacking. Would liked to have hot options even for grab and go like maybe toast or bagels. Did not like only powder creamer. Coffee creamer would've gone a long way.

The mattress was very stained and made the whole bed feel dirty......
