I stayed last month, and had an awesome time! 👍🏼The staff were extremely accommodating: I initially booked 3 nights through an app, but wanted to add a 4 night last minute (at check-in). At first, she told me they were sold out that day. I was really disappointed, because I needed that extra day. However, she advise me to keep trying to book it online, in case someone canceled. Later that day, someone must have canceled and I was able to book the 4th night! ☺️.If she would not have encouraged me to keep trying, I would not have. That meant a lot! Also, the shower water was hot! (THAT WAS ONE OF MY CONCERNS, AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS. That just goes to show, don't base your decision solely on a few bad reviews.) Make sure you REQUEST a microwave/fridge, if you want it. The breakfast was great (especially loved the hot hash browns💜! The muffins were tasty, too). I truly loved the location: about 10 minutes from downtown K'zoo. Last but not least: THE PRICE is a steal!!! 💯 For someone on a budget, this hotel is a blessing indeed🙌🏼

The printer didn't work in the business room

1) The friendly greeting when I was checking in. 2) The refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hairdryer. 3) Very clean in all areas, hallway, elevator, lobby and room. 4) Five pillows!!!!! 5) The friendly greeting when I was checking out. Lots of smiles and great conversation. Highly recommended. 6) Very quiet inside second floor.

I knew not to expect the pool to be available… I saw it on the website. But…. I thought a nice little breakfast would be available since I was told the hours were 6-9. When I woke up early and came downstairs to get the paper and continental breakfast, I saw this notice taped to the wall that said unfortunately, no breakfast is available. So…… Very noisy outside of my window for hours as a lady obviously needed help with a jumpstart and snow/ice scraping.

Bed was fresh and comfortable,room had a sofa and a work desk,breakfast was beyond expectations.Free newspapers available as well.Instant hot water,clean bathroom,overall very nice.

The heat occasionally made a loud bang when shutting off.No big deal at 8PM.More of a big deal at 3.27AM Other than that,the place was very quiet.

Clean lobby area and friendly staff. Room having a fridge and microwave was nice as well. Also lots of parking and free breakfast always a plus. Can't beat the price! I was a little worried about the other reviews, but since most the complaints were about the pool or breakfast ending at 9am, I took the chance and booked a room. Would stay here again if I'm in the area!

The bathtub had some draining issue but if you let it sit for ailbout 5 minutes or so, it'll drain all the way. Worried me for a little bit as I was showering since I wasn't sure if it would drain or not. Not a major issue though Also the eggs during breakfast were really sad lol. Everything else during breakfast was good though, but not sure how the eggs were as bad as they were

Very clean and comfortable. Was quiet. Went and watched the Kwings game and stayed overnight. A wonderful stay. Missed the breakfast but was getting caught up on some much needed sleep. Very nice hotel

There wasnt anything to not like. It was clean quiet and comfy.. 99 out of hundred. I know where ill be staying in Kalamazoo from now on. I was impressed.

I liked that they had a pool. We were on the ground level. There is additional parking in the back so I could park right next to our window.

There was a pipe leaking by the elevator so there was a bucket and towels in a main area. I booked the room on booking.com and had one price but when I got to the hotel they told me another price which added $52 more. I am suppose to get the difference reimbursed back onto my card but I have not received it yet.

The bathroom on the third floor above me was leaking water or sewage on me while I was sitting on the toilet. I mentioned it to the front desk receptionist. I hope this is being taken care of.

Clean, friendly, quiet!

Lack of communication, as I requested later check out time but this wasn't communicated to the on coming shift so after working 2 12hr shifts and a 16hr shift my sleep was interrupted!!

Loved there were 4 REGULAR coffee packets in room (usually only 2 and 2, reg and decaf, in other hotels). They were able to accommodate early check-in time :-)

Same breakfast 2 days in a row (scrambled eggs, sausage, potato cake for hot brkfst). Would like to have had hard boiled eggs as an option.

I didn’t like the condition or the guests of the neighboring hotels they were pretty “sketchy” looking ! But clarion was definitely in a class above the rest for sure!
