I stayed last month, and had an awesome time! 👍🏼The staff were extremely accommodating: I initially booked 3 nights through an app, but wanted to add a 4 night last minute (at check-in). At first, she told me they were sold out that day. I was really disappointed, because I needed that extra day. However, she advise me to keep trying to book it online, in case someone canceled. Later that day, someone must have canceled and I was able to book the 4th night! ☺️.If she would not have encouraged me to keep trying, I would not have. That meant a lot! Also, the shower water was hot! (THAT WAS ONE OF MY CONCERNS, AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS. That just goes to show, don't base your decision solely on a few bad reviews.) Make sure you REQUEST a microwave/fridge, if you want it. The breakfast was great (especially loved the hot hash browns💜! The muffins were tasty, too). I truly loved the location: about 10 minutes from downtown K'zoo. Last but not least: THE PRICE is a steal!!! 💯 For someone on a budget, this hotel is a blessing indeed🙌🏼

The printer didn't work in the business room

My service dog Brady and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and our check-in was as seamless as could be. Everyone we interacted with at the hotel from that point forward was wonderful. Our room was exactly as it appeared on Booking.com. We visited during a heat wave so AC was super important - and ours worked flawlessly! Our room was clean, had lots of drawer space and the fridge and microwave worked like a charm. Both the hot water in the shower and water pressure were abundant. Our other absolute must-have is a working ice machine - and this hotel delivered! We also found the grounds safe at night for walking - which is important when you have a 100+ lb dog! We will definitely stay here again - Until next time! Thanks again!

The room seemed recently cleaned. Breakfast was typical for a hotel. Price was decent. Location was close to my event. It felt safe. Parking was good. The lobby was clean. Check-in was easy and quick with a reservation.

I'm accustomed to having my room cleaned for a second night's stay. The bed wasn't made, the carpet wasn't vacuumed. I don't think it was vacuumed before my stay. The trash can wasn't emptied. The only reason I knew someone even came to the room was because one of the towels I used had been replaced. A fresh towel was the one thing I could have done without. The larger towels were fine but the face towels were thin and rough. One was stained. Somebody somewhere inside was smoking in this non-smoking hotel. I don't know if it was coming through the vents, under the door, or through the walls, but I definitely smelled it.

This is an unusual situation. I booked the room for Friday night but Kalamazoo has a very severe storm Thursday night. Lots of trees down/damaged, lots of electric lines down/damaged and 50k people/places without power. When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk explained there was no electricity and several times offered me the chance to cancel my reservation without a penalty. The 4 or 5 people behind me left upon hearing no electricity. I was in no mood to run around trying to find another hotel (from what I heard later all hotels were fully booked) and said we'd stay. He showed me the room first and made sure I still wanted it. We had phones and a tablet so not worried about tv. The hallway had lights, the bathroom light worked and one of the table lamps. We couldn't charge our phones but the bed was comfortable and even without A/C we were fine. He said they hoped to get power back around 9pm but a huge wind storm blew in and everything stayed the same. We can't fault them for Mother Nature and as long as the room was clean and comfortable we were happy.

Quiet and clean. Breakfast was ok. Really nice fitness center. Good location close to the interstate. The pool area was clean and well maintained.

TV was functional, but not connected to the network. I'm sure that could have been easily fixed, but I don't watch TV anyway. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. Again, I didn't bother to complain.

I knew not to expect the pool to be available… I saw it on the website. But…. I thought a nice little breakfast would be available since I was told the hours were 6-9. When I woke up early and came downstairs to get the paper and continental breakfast, I saw this notice taped to the wall that said unfortunately, no breakfast is available. So…… Very noisy outside of my window for hours as a lady obviously needed help with a jumpstart and snow/ice scraping.

Bed was fresh and comfortable,room had a sofa and a work desk,breakfast was beyond expectations.Free newspapers available as well.Instant hot water,clean bathroom,overall very nice.

The heat occasionally made a loud bang when shutting off.No big deal at 8PM.More of a big deal at 3.27AM Other than that,the place was very quiet.

We appreciated the overall cleanliness of the room, bathroom, hallways, and dining area, which contributed to a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

I’ve noticed that the chairs in our room aren’t as clean. They have some spill stains that can really affect the overall atmosphere.

Clean lobby area and friendly staff. Room having a fridge and microwave was nice as well. Also lots of parking and free breakfast always a plus. Can't beat the price! I was a little worried about the other reviews, but since most the complaints were about the pool or breakfast ending at 9am, I took the chance and booked a room. Would stay here again if I'm in the area!

The bathtub had some draining issue but if you let it sit for ailbout 5 minutes or so, it'll drain all the way. Worried me for a little bit as I was showering since I wasn't sure if it would drain or not. Not a major issue though Also the eggs during breakfast were really sad lol. Everything else during breakfast was good though, but not sure how the eggs were as bad as they were

Vacuum better in rooms along edges. Under table. Their was food. Pet fee. Just to much for just a dog. Should be topped at 1 night. Dont put a family next door when hotel is empty, space them. Please.
