The property was in a nice central location, close to many public transport options. It also had plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The reception area was clean and welcoming and the restaurant was well-stocked and inviting. Our room, though on the simple side, was clean and as described. All the staff, from the reception to the restaurant to the pool terrace to the cleaners, were all super friendly.

The only issues we would have was with the room. Though we purchased as small double, it would have been nice to have a station to make coffee and hot drinks. The wardrobe could’ve done with a few more hangers, while some of the electrical outlets didn’t charge our phones.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunotel Aston and truly enjoyed every moment. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional – they made us feel at home right away. Our room was spotlessly clean every single day. The housekeeping team did an amazing job – fresh towels, a perfectly made bed, and everything neatly arranged. You could really tell that cleanliness and guest comfort are a top priority here. Breakfasts were another highlight – delicious and varied every morning. There was a great selection of fresh food, both sweet and savory options, and really good coffee. The breakfast area was calm and inviting, the perfect way to start the day. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The location is great, the staff exceptional, and everything was well taken care of. We would definitely love to return!

The hotel staff was very kind and helped us with all our questions. The location is excellent for anyone looking for a hotel near the city center, with good restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room has all the amenities necessary for a short stay, as well as great bathroom space. The pool is small but very clean; there's a lot of sunlight during the day, and plenty of space is available for people to rest.

The cleaning hours are not very precise, since one day they left a note under our door at 10 am saying they couldn't clean our room that day because we were still inside, but the next day we came back from a walk at 1 pm and the cleaning lady told us she hadn't yet cleaned our room. There's also a shortage of food and beverages sold at the pool level.

The room is bright, spacious and clean. The insulation is good, so we had no problems with noise. In the hotel room, you get a free bottle of water, coffee, milk, chocolate and a beautiful postcard with a welcome message. The room also contains a mini fridge with drinks/snacks that you can use, but you have to pay for it. The toilet is clean, you get all the necessities - shower gel, shampoo, makeup remover pads, etc. The room includes a safe. The hotel has a swimming pool on the roof, which is not particularly big and deep, but it is enough to refresh yourself. The view from there is beautiful. If someone is a smoker, it is allowed to light a cigarette on the roof in the cafe located there. If you are in doubt whether to pay for breakfast, my recommendation is to do that. The breakfast is abundant and varied, also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The location of the hotel is good. The metro is close by, and you can also always catch a taxi in front of the hotel.

The first night we had a small problem with the air conditioning. It seems that some part that drains the water came off, so it was dripping from our ceiling and we had to turn the air conditioner off to prevent any damage. The next day we went to the reception and reported the problem. They helped us most kindly and immediately sent a worker to fix it. The worker fixed it within an hour and we had no more problems. In such a situation, you don't have to worry if something will go missing from your room, their workers are reliable and very kind.

The beds were comfortable although mattress too soft for us, location is great for value, 5minutes walking from the tube station or bus stop in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not excellent. Plenty of choice. Staff were great with a few exceptions. We have checked out and still we could enjoy the pool and the hot tub on the roof too which was great. They provided me with an adapter for the charger and overall always there to help for every request.

The couple we traveled with has some issues with the bathroom door and receptionist was quite unhelpful. The gentleman that was serving breakfast during our stay was quite grumpy. We had some requests made the afternoon we checked in (extra towels and shower gel holder to be fixed) and our request was ignored.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the roof top pool/bar has a nice ambient and a great view of the town. The location is a 7 min walking distance to the metro station and a 12 min walk to the nightlife bars/louges. There are a few nice cafes within walking distance from the hotel.

The room description said there is a bathtub, but it was only a shower and with my bad knee I was hoping for a bathtub to soak in hot water.

Great location, near public transport (metro and bus) and plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed every other day. Breakfast had plenty of variety of bread, pastries, fruit and veg options, cheeses and cured meats and even cooked eggs and bacon. It was my birthday and the staff left a card and a sweet treat, it was really lovely!

The window didn't shut completely so you could hear a bit of the outside noise, but we still managed to sleep ok.

The location is excellent, really close to restaurants, bars, supermercat, etc...Our room was large and spacious for 2, and the bathroom was excellent! Great shower facility and the aircon was toppp! Even during the national 12 hour long energy blackout on the 28th April, we had the staff at hand to help and make our stay as best as possible.

I wish we could have stayed longer :) Everything met and exceeded our expectations and I would encourage people to use the hotel and its facilities.

Stuff was very kind and cute, rooms are clean. On breakfast was quite big choose of different meals what I wasn’t expecting for a 3 star hotel, also I can mention a restaurant on the first floor, swimming pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop which you can also use without a charge. Location is also very good, 5 min walk from the metro station. We refused a cleaning in our room , and they left a letter with maids working hours under our door in case we’ll want fresh towels, what was really cute. I’m a hotel worker and I really recommend this hotel😁

The overall look of the hotel, the cleanliness and staff were excellent. Location was really accessible with lots of options for food and transport.

I would have liked to have an option for my guest as she's a smoker and there was no terrace in the morning where she could enjoy a coffee while having a cigarette. I noticed lots of guests sat on the floor in front of the hotel smoking in the morning. Also the breakfast room was not very welcoming, maybe lighting could be better and the temperature kept similar to the rest of the rooms in the hotel rather than blasting the AC. One more detail I noticed, on the rooftop around the pool there are ugly parts which can easily be improved by just using some decoration.
