Close to the airport, good restaurant, comfy bedroom and kind personnel.

It says free transportation to the airport but from the airport to the hotel, the bus starts to operate from 3pm, so before that hour you have to figure out how to get to the hotel. From the hotel to the airport the bus operates very early in the morning but you have to make reservation if don’t wanna end up taking a taxi. Also, the air conditioning system didn’t get the job done and our room was a little bit hot. At midnight we started to feel a nasty smell coming from the AC. At the end I think we got use to it and kept sleeping.

Bed comfortable, clean

They state they have a free shuttle but when you get there they advise that only one bag is allowed per person because the shuttle is complimentary. Who flies internationally with one bag? We had a carryon and a personal bag backpack type of bag. So we ended up taking an uber. They should state in their free shuttle description that they only one bag. We specifically picked them because of the free shuttle to the airport, so that was disappointing.

Family of 3 (2 adults and 1 teen 16yrs old) we needed a night in Madrid prior to our departure next day by plane, so we needed something close to the airport. It was a great choice since we did not plan to do any visiting of Madrid in that day (we already visited Madrid for few days at the beginning of our trip), we traveled by train from Malaga and we got to the hotel by 4pm. We spent very good 2 hours at the pool, relaxing - a very nice size of pool with chairs and parasols - great relaxing way to finish our vacation since we had a lot of walks for 2 weeks. They have nice options for restaurants at the hotel, but you also have other good choices at 5 min walk. The Hotel offered a great breakfast for 16Euros which we took. The room was ok, clean, 2 comfortable beds, but small .... it was ok since we just booked for one night , we didn't not need much else.

The AC was very noisy (we needed to keep the "fan" at max in order to ventilate the air) and poor (in terms of temperature), barely keeping at the limit a comfortable air, considering we were 3 people in a small room - this, in the same time as a very hot summer heat wave....the room had a controller for AC but didn't do much, since we had to keep it at "0" in order to function- there was no way to set a temperature...cannot say I slept very well...

This was an unknown hotel panic purchase after Heathrow airport was closed and we were diverted to Madrid airport by British Airways en route home. The size of room was great. Huge bathroom with bidet, beautifully tiled: quite unexpected. Plenty instant hot water. Huge Queen sized bed. Good wi-fi connection. The food at the Altitudes bar/restaurant was excellent…a real surprise…and the staff pleasant. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Great free minibus to Madrid airport.

The location is in the middle of a large housing estate to the side of the airport. Not inspiring, but very clean, functional and quiet. This is not a holiday hotel, more an aircrew or airport passenger one or two night stopover hotel.

There are several walking path and parks nearby for dogs and a village with a trattoria and tapas bar for dining, so it worked out well. Although the curtain in the room was a little tired and the door to the balcony could lock but was stiff to open/close the room was nice overlooking the park behind and all staff pleasant and courteous. The bar adjacent to the hotel has a lively atmosphere and charm of its own.

The bed creaked a little, housekeeping may have forgotten to replenish our coffee/tea over the holidays(New Year)perhaps the imperfections are the perfections, thank you for a nice stay.

It was a decent room, I had a pleasant stay. It’s everything you expect to get on a trip. The WiFi was okay. It was a spacious room. The shuttle pickup from the airport was a bonus.

The hallways could get really noisy, it wasn’t declared that shuttle back to the airport was paid. I paid £5, which was fair but it should have been stated. Another thing I didn’t like was I wasn’t allowed breakfast at 9:45am by a lady concierge because I had dropped my card at the reception at 9:40am before going for breakfast because I wanted to be ready for pickup to the airport which was coming at 10:15am. I mean technically I’m still a legal occupant until 12pm. I didn’t think that was right after all it’s a paid service not a bonus. I didn’t make a fuss because I had a flight to catch and couldn’t be bothered.

I like the hotel and the staff, it was easy to cooperate or for example book a transport to the airport. It was clean and quiet most of the time. Great comfort and beautiful rooms with a little fridge.

On the day we came to the hotel there was only one person at the desk doing check in - and lots of people waiting. After a long while someone came to help. There should be more staff checking people in. In the restaurant I was not happy with one meal we got - the fish was a very poor quality ( still fresh but a very cheap meat), I was studying about the quality of food products so I have some knowledge about. Also the floor was brushed but on the edges it was dirty ( when you sit by the window it is visible). It is also concerning for how long the plates are there on the table waiting for guests. If not long it is ok, if longer, they need to be cleaned before used for eating.

The property boasts about its breakfast, and for good reason. It genuinely was the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen in a hotel or resort. Real honeycomb?!? The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. In terms of location, it's a great spot for reaching the airport for an early flight, but also within walking distance of a metro line that takes you into the centre of Madrid.

Have to say, the walls were pretty thin. Could easily hear people coughing and snoring on either side of us, but after walking miles around the city, we were too tired for it to matter. Not sure if it was just our room, but we also didn't have dark/blackout curtains in the room. Something to consider if you need a dark room to sleep.

Sort of got a last minute price on this one, it was worth it. The location is very close to the airport, also the shuttle bus is rather convienient but personally I didn't get the shuttle bus when I checked in, but took the shuttle bus when I headed off to the airport, but unfortunately the driver didn't really gave the passengers a heads up about terminal two, he made a hand gesture saying we were approaching Terminal 2 but instead made a stop at Terminal 4, and I wisely get off from the van, so that's the only inconvienent experience for me, but I can totally accept this outcome, overall it was a good stay.

Maybe the driver from the shuttle bus need to at least speak the number of Terminal when approaching, otherwise it's really confusing and one can easily got off at the wrong terminal.

Free airport shuttle is perfect, I had trainings in the airport cargo area and it was accessible by foot or bus (stop just in front of the entrance). Within 10 minute walk also metro station, some shops and bakeries in the neighbourhood. In general neighbourhood was very nice. Tea/coffee set in the room was highly appreciated, also the cleanliness of the room and comfortable bed and darkening curtains. Water bottles in the minibar were also a nice surprise, especially that tap water in Madrid is not really good for drinking. Staff at the reception was also very helpful.

The hotel is quite old - access card to my door stopped working twice during my stay and I had to go to the reception to fix it - it was quite annoying. Also the door to the room was not really isolating acoustically - I could hear everything from the corridor very loud. Thankfully I had earplugs. No noises from the airport though.
