Probably one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Clean and comfortable room. The room was quiet, which was lovely since I had been staying in an apartment a few minutes around the corner which was frankly awful and noisy all the time! Could not even hear aircraft from my room. Bed and pillows were comfortable resulting in an excellent nights sleep. Large shower and endless hot water if you want a long shower; and the supplied body wash and shampoo were nice. There was a sofa bed in my room which was nearly as big as the double bed (did not use it though). Buffet breakfast was good. Cooked breakfast you have sausage (decent quality which is rare in hotels these days!), back bacon, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, scrambled egg (overcooked though!). Cereals, pastries, yoghurt and fruit also available. Apple and orange juice available (juice from concentrate, not fresh). Self-serve coffee was fine. Staff were polite and attentive. There is a BP garage over the road with M&S Food if you need drinks / snacks etc.

Holiday Inn T5 is. a hub hospitality facility, well trained staff and everyone works at being helpful and friendly. Security guard in the front adds of course an important part to feeling safe there. It's a hub for airline company's staff. Breakfasts were well run and their coffee was exceptional in flavour. Machines are multi-designed with every type of coffee that can be made. Eggs? still the steamed variety. not my favorite style. other chains offer additional fried eggs , more my choice. Very well presented clean up crew so that there is not a pile up of unsightly dishes . Croissant are very good. Scan cards add to security for access to the upper floors. Hot water showers were plentiful.

Rooms with connecting doors are susceptible to guests toying with that door and it's annoying to listen to that happen when you are on the other side. The ventilation system is a bit crafty and we taped up the vent during our stay. it was a bit unmanageable. But we got a heater installed as the nights were cold. Holiday Inn T5 does have a sporty night club on weekends so that adds some external noise, but no big deal. Overall the sounds penetrate through the front doors with noise from the hallway. But the elevators are protected with scan -cards. My room didn't have fridge just the kettle for boiling water.

Friendly greeting on entering reception. Room was clean, cosy and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, fresh and the staff members’Lima’ and ‘Sumar’ during the breakfast shift were outstanding! They both went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience, even though it was very busy, both of these members of staff still took time to answer our questions, fetch me some gluten free bread and still had a very welcoming smile on their faces! It really made our stay perfect!

Parking was tricky, even though we had paid an extra £16 on arrival, it is on a first come first serve basis so as it was so busy, we had to wait about 15 mins (sat in the car) until a space became available.

Bed was lovely, my husband says we are buying a new bed when we get home. Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of everything from full English to continental. The hotel was spotless and all the staff seemed to be continuously cleaning and making sure tables were cleared. Also very quite area.

There was one negative. Getting from Heathrow was a bit of a problem. The hotel hoppy bus told us he didn’t go to this hotel also the same story with a HHG which it said on the board it does go, but the driver said no. Had of put pressure on the Black taxi driver to take us and it cost 35 pounds plus a tip. That needs sorting. Would definitely use this hotel in the future.

The room was clean, bathroom needs an update, lots of stains that cleaners can't clean it off, needs replacement. The hallway got loud when tour group checked in or guests/children running and shouting (not the hotel's fault, the walls are thin). Restaurant serves good food, several options, breakfast was nice. They let me dropped off my luggage prior to my check-in time when my flight arrived early in the morning. It's a good pit stop to stay upon arrival, get a shower and relax before start a trip around the UK. Great location. It was a 26GBP ride from Heathrow to the hotel. Uber may be cheaper. If you use public transportation, it takes over an hour from the hotel, a red bus runs every 15 mins.

It can get noisy. Front desk was very busy the day I checked in. Make sure you have enough time.

Positive experience, attentive staff I had an impromptu overnight stay to allow myself an easier early morning rise to catch a flight from LHR. I found the receptionist Kamila very helpful and accommodating from the start. Being unfamiliar with the location of the hotel, she helped me out by telling me which local bus to catch that would drop me directly outside the hotel, and I was also able to check in early. The room was spacious, clean, with tea and coffee making facilities, and good WIFI. I enjoyed a tasty meal in the evening, and a very good night sleep. There was also a handy e-shuttle service to the terminal that is bookable in advance in the hotel reception area. Only £9.90 for a one way trip (shared vehicle) from the hotel to the airport terminal building.

We thought the hotel was nearer the actual terminal, but it is a taxi ride away.

When we arrived, we were allocated a room that was a little 'whiffy' to say the least (Room 123)! However, when we asked to move rooms, the front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful, apologetic and accommodating. Our new room was clean, spacious and quiet. 20 mins drive from Terminal 5, with a WeKnowLondon shuttle available for seven pounds each; book online for best deals. 24 hour M&S in garage over the road. Buffet breakfast is good.

smoking area outside the hotel is too near the entrance. The smoke wafts in through the revolving doors, and is also unpleasant when leaving and entering the hotel.

Loved our stay here, and came back a few times because of travel plans involving Terminal 5! Counter staff friendly, accomodating and helpful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. 20 mins drive from Terminal 5 with shuttle transport available for seven pounds each. 24 hour M&S over the road at the garage, and we found a walking trail, next to the Queen Mother Reservoir, towards Datchet, which meant we weren't just trailing the busy streets around the hotel. Check out is 11am and you can also negotiate a later check-out time if needed.

Smoking area outside the hotel is too close to the entrance! Waiting for taxis is not fun, and the revolving doors bring the smoke inside.

This hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable! It had a standard British breakfast as well as a continental American style breakfast. None of it was over the top delicious but we're comparing that to a week in the UK which has been remarkable. They have a workout facility which was delightful to use for our international flight home. And the staff was outstanding!

To get back to Heathrow, you either need to pay for an Uber, private shuttle, or bus. We used the flight line bus and it was easy.
