The room was very clean and well organized. The staff was very polite and very tolerant of my language barrier. In the morning they had a free breakfast buffet. Honestly I only expected packaged bakery and coffee or juice. I was amazed that it was a full buffet worthy of any restaurant! They had everything! I have stayed at 5 star resorts that were not as good as this! Gran View is the best all around value I have seen in a long time and I will be back as I have relatives in Japan.

I can't think of anything worth complaining about. If I had a question about anything, the staff was very helpful.

The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was nice and healthy most of it. Free shuttle to the domestic terminal on the way back. Power of the shower was amazing.

The bathroom had an extreme piss smell. Disgusting and it remained, but I couldn’t locate any piss and everything looked clean. So maybe the bottom of the toilet was not closed off well, not sure. The staff’s English is very limited, however they try to help with Google translate. Breakfast is very Japanese (not weird in Japan of course) but might be a problem if you expect more western options. Only three pastries, butter and jam in that department.

The breakfast was phenomenal. I have never seen such a huge assortment of food that was prepared very nicely.

I would’ve paid more to stay in the hotel until the afternoon. However, they don’t have any shuttle transport after 10 AM. It is a short walk to the airport but having transportation is essential if you have luggage. If they could offer transportation directly to the international terminal, that would be very helpful . It takes 30 minutes to go from domestic to international via Nishitetsu bus.

1. The service of the check-in female staff ( forgot to get her name) was excellent. Very helpful and detailed in her instructions. 2. Parking was cheap in comparison to other hotel carparks. 3. We didn't need room cleaning but the housekeeping was very kind, they left fresh towels at the reception for our 3 rooms. 4. Breakfast was simple but sufficient.

The bathrooms were small. Seniors or people with mobility issues will have problem getting into the bathtubs.

The location is perfect! I short walk to the International Airport, but quiet and secluded all at the same time. I didn't hear any airplane noises. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my lack of Japanese. Their breakfast buffet rivals anything that a restaurant could offer and the price/ value was fantastic. They also had a free airport shuttle. My family members stayed in the adjoining room to see me off the next day and as Japanese residents, they were impressed by the service and value. I will absolutely be coming back!

I really can't think of a single thing that I could honestly complain about.

This hotel is in an ideal location if you’re coming from the airport. It’s helpful that they offer a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, as well as from the hotel to the airport, too. Every member of staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean in the room and throughout the hotel (I specifically checked places that other hotels forget to clean but in the Hotel Grand View they didn’t miss any cleaning!). The wide variety of snacks and drinks they offer near the front desk are very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet that was included in my stay was quite impressive! I had it two days in a row and it changed a little but it was wonderful both times. The bed was firm and comfortable. The bed pillows were harder than I expected so I was surprised and worried that I may hurt my neck when sleeping but I have to say that I woke up feeling very refreshed and feeling no pain at all! The view from my window showed planes going by and a beautiful sunset. As a bonus, there’s a wonderful thrift store in the retail park across the street that I enjoyed shopping in. I appreciated my time at this hotel and I would certainly stay again. Thank you so much.

The hotel was very quiet all of the time due to the nice guests being respectful- I want to say that my room is the one with a drinks vending machine outside the door so during the night when I was in bed I could often hear the noise of heavy drinks falling from the vending machine. It wasn’t extremely loud but it was quite noticeable. It would be ideal if the vending machine could be moved but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay regardless of this.

It is literally a Grand View Hotel because of the view of airplane taking off/ landing with all the scenery of mountains in far. Amenities, staff, showers, and breakfast are all as expected, very good. Also, this is for the marketing team: PLEASE MENTION THE SHUTTLE BUS to be more pronounced as it is a strong benefit compared to the competitors.

The sink tap is too short, and it made my finger hurt and bloody. And the pillow is too hard.

Outstanding location, easy WALK to the airport domestic terminal (12-15 mins). Great unique view of the airplanes landings/takeoff. NO noise at night from airport. Nice breakfast with both Asian and Western buffet. Metro at subway makes for easy access to the highlights of Fukuoka. Great staff, some English, very quiet hotel and guests. Exceeded my expectations !

This location is is the one to be if you need a place to stay near Fukuoka airport. Its about a 5-7 minute drive from the airport and you can avail the free shuttle to the airport everyday which drops you off at the domestic terminal.

I loved the courtesy shuttle van service to the airport early in the morning. The driver was kind! Everything was amazing!
