Location. Easy sign-in even if later than usual.

It says it could host 4 people but two seems the maximum. I’m glad I met the manager and complained there was no glasses in the room just two mugs ( the studio was equipped for two) and he accepted to buy some for us. Also, there was also only small towels like the small ones you take with you in an onsen … which is not ideal to dry up yourself after a shower. There was also only one chair… To make it short, it was not a generous/convivial rental…

key less entry, easy to understand. They even provided internet access at the lobby for us to receive the room door pin number. Sound proofing was good, the balcony view of the canal was good, unobscured. We liked the separate wc and bath rooms, and also the handsfree toilet seat system. We purposely choose Picolo due to its location and proximity to Hakata Station, 15 min walk at leisurely pace, and nice roads and lanes to reach it, especially on arrival with our luggage. Overall we would give 5 stars if not for the price which we feel was a bit high.

Check in only at 4 pm, but they did allow free baggage storage in the lobby secured by locked door with pin access and cctv cameras. The room was just big enough for 3 pax, add one more and it would have been quite crowded. No clear instructions on disposal of solid waste, although 3 segregation bins were provided, we were not sure whether we had to dispose it ourselves or leave it for the cleaners. Although sufficient towels were provided, but their size of 2.5 ft x 1 ft was a bit too small to use after bath. The double bed mattress was very comfortable, but the futons provided was too thin (too worn out ?) as I could feel the floor board.

This place is really easy to find in Hakata. Only a 5 min walk from Hakata station and is in a very convenient location. The underfloor heating in the room is excellent. The only thing that is a little complex is the room check in. Be ready to have your passport at hand so that they can take a photo of it using the iPad. This process is relatively easy, but took us a little while to figure out. Otherwise, very safe, convenient and comfortable place to stay in.

The host responded quickly when I had issues getting parking. Location is close to hakata station which was excellent. Easily over a dozen eateries to choose from.

The room was smaller than the pic. Still fit comfortably for a family of four. The parking app was only available in Japanese and not tourist friendly. Needed help from the host to get the parking

An amazing view! It’s also conveniently located near the Hakata station. The accommodations were quite comfortable, making for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended!

Just follow the instructions in the email. We arrived 2pm, the host is very accommodating- he allowed early check in. It was a homey atmosphere, short walk to Hakata Station.

The location is easy too access, only a few minute walk from the JR station, Bus terminal and local train station. The location are free from urban city noise too

Room was big with enough sleeping space. The place was kept clean and had no issues with the amenities.

First time entry and sign in was a little difficult.

The place was really comfortable for me and my pet. the location was quite near Hakata station, which is a big plus also. overall, a great place with good value for money.

since pet comes with extra charge, it would be really helpful if there are pet’s toilet within the room. however I guess as pet owner I have to take that responsibility myself as well
