The room size is huge compare to other hotel in Japan. The breakfast was awesome with various choice. The receptions were very helpful and friendly. Drip coffee was great!! 2 convenient stores and 1 pharmacy nearby Public bath is good

The floor with the rug make it easy to capture all dirt and difficult to clean even though the room was clean daily The lobby is on the 3rd floor. As we rent a car , it’s a little inconvenient as we need to drop all stuffs on the first floor deck then we had to park the car at the automatic parking building first. But we had many luggages , so we found it difficult at first to manage check in on 3rd floor.

We've stayed at 2 Monterey hotels already - Osaka & Fukuoka. Rooms are bigger than usual in Japan. Beds are also comfortable and bigger than Japan's usual. The location was perfect for us. It is a 2 mins walk to 711, Watanabe-dori train and bus station, Family Mart and a supermarket. They also offer unlimited coffee & tea at the lobby. I love it that they also have a weighing scale at the lobby to weigh our luggage.

The pillows given were not comfortable at all. I would have preferred if the curtains covered the window completely so that light does not come in in the morning.

Location was amazing; very close to public transport, in the city, and easy for taxis to find. There are at least four of the big three convenience stores within walking distance (7-Eleven, Famima, Lawson) if you need to drop by for the ATMs or food, etc. Amenities are provided in the hotel rooms rather than having to pick them up separately at the front desk/lobby. There was even a set of scales in the bathroom--helpful if you wanted to weigh your luggage.

I only stayed for one night, so I don't have any complaints. My only complaint was that I wasn't in the city long enough to enjoy staying in the hotel longer!

The hotel was fit for our purpose, slightly away from all the restaurants. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful during our staff and the room was a great size.

There was a slight hiccup with the parking attendant on the night we arrived but had different attendants thereafter and they will great. The room looked slightly dated but very clean and we were usually out all day so not a big issue.

The room was nice. The location was nice. I was disappointed that there were 2 beds instead of one. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was standard. I don’t know why it was considered a r star hotel other than it had spa and sauna services which were not of interest to me at all. Because it was close to the subway I could go to more interesting areas but everything was just OK.

It could have not been so rainy. I know that the hotel does not control the rain but the weather affected my overall mood.

The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a train station 5 mins from the hotel which brings you to the other attractions within Fukuoka City. Tenjin underground shopping mall is only 5 mins walk from the hotel and from there, you can easily go to the other departmental stores. The room was big and clean and the bathroom facilities were complete.

Great breakfast with room that can accommodate up to 3 persons ( we stayed in rooms that arrange for 4 (2 extra beds) Great parking lot just behinds the hotel building which very comfortable.

Just realized that room can accommodate up to 4 persons. But I had to booked 3 rooms for 7 persons rather than 2 rooms for 3 and 4 but this is not a big deal since facilities has more advantage in the other areas

The staff was friendly. Our room was consider quite big in Japan standard. We had a comfortable stay. The hotel was next to the subway station. Many shopping area and attractions were within walking distance.

Our room was facing the inner street and no view. There was no taxi stand for drop off/pick up. We had to align on the busy street. We felt a little bit dangerous when loading and unloading our luggage.

Spacious room with three separate beds. Konbinis 7/11, FamilyMart) next door, subway few minutes walk (only 3 stops from Hakata Station). Daily cleaning was done very properly.

Bathroom hooks to hang up clothes or something to put on (table/chair) was missing in bathroom. But we managed to improvise.

Location close to the station was key for this hotel. The room was spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. The amenities are wonderful and bathroom was nice. The hotel is well maintained and the staff are super helpful. They didn’t offer Yamato luggage service, but they were helpful when it came to filling out the forms for us at the Seven Eleven.
