Almost Everything: location, the rooms, the decor, the view of Mount Fuji from our room and the indoor Onsen. Shuttle services were good too, just that they weren’t present on a Monday.

Shuttle services could be there on Monday too. Breakfast could have a bigger spread of items but it was still very good. The front desk person was a bit rude on the first night of our stay.

Location and view. There is a big hotspring facility next door but the hotel offers it too. short distance from Gotemba station.

The balcony may not be 100% private, can easily be seen by someone from next room if they peek over, due to the balcony side walls.

I loved the Onsen and the workers as well as the room. My room had a balcony view so viewing Mount Fuji every morning was very relaxing. I will not forget my stay here.

It's better if you have a car or rent a car in Gotemba, otherwise you would have to wait for the hotel shuttle bus that comes around every hour until 6pm to get to the nearest town.

The property had a a lovely onsen and comfortable beds. The staff were professional and helpful.

The location was very far out of town. Unless you have a car, anywhere by taxi is easily $30 each way. Gotemba train station is a $30 taxi ride or the hotel has a shuttle with a limited service. No restaurants nearby and the food in t he onsite restaurant is a set menu for $120 per head! Not economical for a family of 6. The hotel is under construction so the roof top onsen was not accessible, which was disappointing. Although I appreciate a solid work ethic, jack hammering outside of our room at 0800 was not ideal. It would have been nice to be put in a room not facing the workers in the morning when I opened the curtains.

The onsen! It was so relaxing and with beautiful scenery to look out at.

The latest breakfast time was at 8.45am. We had climbed Mt Fuji during the night before we arrived so had been awake for 30+ hours by the time we arrived. We asked if we could have a later breakfast so we could sleep in a bit, but they said no. That was annoying but fair enough. We were then getting ready to leave the room to go to breakfast at 8.46am (!!!!) and we got a phone call from reception to ask us where we were. Besides that though, it was an incredibly relaxing stay. And the onsen was perfect after our long hike

The staff at Rembrandt Premium Fuji Gotemba deserve high praise for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism in addressing and solving my queries made my stay seamless and stress-free. The room was immaculately clean, reflecting their commitment to quality and guest comfort. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, which made the experience truly unforgettable. I sincerely thank the team for creating such a memorable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

The accessibility to the Gotemba station. As the shuttle bus was unavailable on Monday. I have to call a taxi instead.

The room was large compared to other hotels. A wonderful view of Mt Fuji from our double bed. The bath was a great size too with legroom.

The accommodation is very far from any of the lakes. The shuttle bus only runs from mid morning to early afternoon so if you are staying out, make sure to know where to find a taxi as they are not close. Would be great if there were more options for shuttle for the price you pay to stay. The breakfast was a 3 course meal - yet somehow lacked. It was mostly small pecking food

Large room. With a relatively clear sky, a beautiful view of Fuji (the first day Fuji was covered in clouds, the second morning - an amazing view). The natural hot spring at the hotel is a great place to rest and relax. Delicious dinner, quite decent fine dining. Breakfast very good. Service impeccable.

Unfortunately, you have to reckon with the fact that the weather will play tricks on you and with a cloudy sky you will not be able to see Fuji, which is a great advantage of the place. There are a few issues that could be criticized, but they are irrelevant from the point of view of the overall assessment.

I liked the onsen overlooking the city. The baths were clean and spacious and the sauna was delightful. The club room was very nice to look out from and nice to have coffee complimentary available. The architecture of the hotel is fascinating and unlike anything I have seen. The staff were kind and helpful, Yoshi upon check in was also fantastic. He was very kind and informative and made us feel very welcomed. The waiters were also amazing and kind, I loved visiting for meals.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we could not see Mt. Fuji. The traditional style room had a slight smell when walking in, but very easy to become accustomed. The dinner was terrific but very expensive.
