- Superior Twin Room was a bit small when opening more than one luggage - Shower stall is very cramped - Bathroom design lacks shelving/storage

The staff was young, energetic, and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with do-it-yourself donburi bowls and a good variety of local dishes, fesh and fried. The breakfast staff was particularly polite and engaging. The second floor lounge was comfortable and suitable for families with children. We will definitely look for OMO5 locations on future trips.

The family-friendly nature of the place meant there were a lot of children, which we weren't expecting on our couple's holiday. Not necessarily a negative, just an observation.

The room and the bath were great, nice view of the city from our room, right next to the station. Staff were very friendly and they offer a shuttle bus around the city and select times, you just have to book. Check in was smooth and seamless. On site laundry is super helpful, cashless though and you have to do it by your phone and a QR code. A microwave and a vending machine. There's also a shop with some local foods, twas and gifts. Breakfast is quite seafood heavy which is to be expected given that's what Hakodate is known for. That being said I was able to have a hearty breakfast in the morning.

There was nothing that I didn't really like.

Good breakfast options and last until 10am, onsen facilities are well maintained, common area on 2/F was also very spacious and relaxing.

One local guest brought her phone into the onsen facility and took pictures. Room cleaning was relatively limited compared to other hotels of the same class. Busy weekend also means the carpark was full if you return in the evening, but alternative carpark of the same price was very close across the street.

The hotel is quite close to Hakodate Jr station, only 5 minutes' walk. The staff is very polite and friendly; especially the attitude of the tour guide who led our way to the free seafood market. The onsen is superb, so is the breakfast. You get to make your seafood bowl!

If the hotel can add more frequency of the free shuttle bus, that will be perfect. Sometimes, we had to catch a taxi to get back to the hotel.

Exceptional breakfast buffet (sweet shrimp, sashimi scallop and salmon for DIY kaisendons) Onsen was a great bonus, the kids loved the common area on Level 2. Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean. It was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our 6 weeks in Japan.

Breakfast options were the same everyday which got repetitive and boring

Super nice location, the onsen is epic. Got indoor and outdoor section, it was snowing outside, stay in the onse with snow flakes on your hair ia dreamy. Breakfast is super nice, stuff speaks Japanese, Korean, English and Mandarin chinese, really helpful.

Room could be a bit larger, but it is normal size in Japanese standard, so not really a problem.

The hotel is brand new, and the facilities are all modern and well-maintained. It's within walking distance to both the train station and the morning market. The onsen is also a highlight, complete with a steam room and sauna

I cant think of any. Would love to stay here again if i visit hakodate again in future

The included Onsen was great. The location was good too, being close to JR Hakodate. It’s also close to the morning seafood market. The buffet breakfast included was perfect.

Rooms were a bit small

The Onsen was great. Hakodate was a lovely town to spend time on , also had fantastic restaurants. The hotel was amazing and the staff were so kind.
