I love the everything about this hotel and this is best stay i had in my Japan trip. breakfast is good have western and Japanese food and rotating daily, and nice big public bath, free amenities and tea/coffee in lobby, and room service is good. They gave free 2 tokens for vending machine. It's a new hotel and bathroom is clean and room is big enough. View is good from the room too, area is surrounded by mountains. I like the area too even it bit far away from Kyoto. Close to hozugawa river boat ride starting location. Recommended and would stay again.

Bit far away from Kyoto, but if you like quite and less crowd this is a good place. Only complain is google maps, hotel name only in Japanese, I had really hard time finding the hotel. It's the left side big building when you stand in-front of Kameoka JR station.

Position is exceptional, 100 meters from the JR Kameoka station. The hotel is brand new and very comfy, I never heard any noise from outside the room even though there were other guests on the same floor. Staff is always present at the reception and very professional.

By western standards the matress is on the rigid side, but that's hardly a complaint considering that when I stayed there nearly all the guests were Japanese.

We loved the location this hotel is right next to the Kameoka station only a 30 min ride to Kyoto and 15 mins to the Bamboo Forest-Saga Arishiyama station. Perfect and beautiful in the mountains here. We loved it!

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Hard to sleep as felt like there was no mattress or cushioning.

This is a simple and basic hotel that offers clean rooms, essential amenities, and friendly service, suitable for budget-conscious travelers who need a comfortable place to rest. There is parking lot nearby and parking fee is JY300 per night. There is also a family mart nearby.

Most important is the iconic location.. Just get out of Kameoka station and u can see the hotel infront of you. Awesome food, staff and amenities.The view around is wonderful. The public bath too is very good. You will definately love it.

You get only one key for your room, and it’s an actual key. Very inconvenient. The pool hours are a bit weird. Closes earlier the the gym, but I guess the hotel cannot control it as it doesn’t belong to them.

Everything particularly the location to.visit Arashiyama at a great value.

Breakfast time until 9 was a bit too early for me.
