The place is beautiful and the staff was super friendly :)

The room might be too small for three people, but I think that it’s in line with Japan standards. By night, the location feels a little bit lonely-dark, as it’s more or less faraway from the city’s attractions (…but well connected, with buses at walking distance).

Depending what your plans are and what transport you have, a little far from main area and I definitely got some steps in. Did hire a bike for 200 yen which was great and walking down the river to main centre was lovely you just don't have the option of popping out and finding dinner within a 10min walk. I think it was worth it to step back from the city hustle n bustle for a couple nights though. The TV is not smart and only has Japanese channels, if you're hoping for a Netflix night. Staff super friendly and flexible, although I hoped to get a coffee in morning and do some washing but no one around, which was fine no drama but a little coffee option in room would be great :) Very solid pillow, i ended up not using it

The place is an incredible value for the price. You have a view of the Sai River outside which has a great path outside to walk, run, or just sit for a few minutes. The area is very quiet as well. I only saw the owners once breifly but they were very friendly.

The location is the biggest drawback to the place. Kanazawa doesn't have the best transit so you're either catching the minimal bus routes or walking at least thirty minutes to something interesting. Other locations like Omicho market and the tea districts you will be walking further. But if you can handle that and will appreciate the quiet, then it is a worthwhile tradeoff.

Amazing experience in snowy Kanazawa. My stay was wonderful, very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I tasted a real japanese meal. Amazing position on the riverside near a picturesque bridge with the mountains in the background. The staff was super cute, also, we had nice chat!

The property is a cute riverside building that really looks tiny on the outside. However has several rooms on each floor all with views to the river. The general feel was calm, away from the rush and waiting to relax you. The facilities were clean and all you needed, the washing machine was helpfully provided and bookings were made for a very special dinner close by.

We booked for four and had three single beds. While bed sharing is a thing in Japan, when it’s hot - sharing in a single bed is tiring.

It's a great place to stay in Kanazawa! They offer a clean, comfortable room with a beautiful river view and the service is excellent! It's not that close to the train station, but there are plenty of bus options, or you can enjoy a nice walk (3.5 km) to get there. I loved it!

Location , staff, the room I originally had was smallest in my 6 week trip to Japan so far, and fridge was as big as , like you could get 2 cans of beer in only, didn't think they come that small ha ha but the lovely lady put me in a double bed room, I call it standard as other places in Japan, as I had a lot of food, she was beautiful and nice, so for that, an 8 and I'd go back, first room, I'd not book that again tho...lovely river next to it, supermarket close to! I'd go back!

Excellent hotel but a little out of the main area for my liking, was about a 35 - 40 min walk into the town. We did catch the loop bus a few times which is a great service. The closest bus stop was about a 10min walk. Beautiful views from our room overlooking the river.

Location is just beautiful. You need to walk a bit for nearest convenience store but it is worth it.

Beds are a little too hard for me. Also even if you are a solo traveler, I strongly recommend getting the bigger room.

Cute little place with a great sized room! Right by the main river which is nearby some lovely parks and local weekend markets. Staff were so very friendly and accommodating. They even have very affordable bikes that you can rent for the day!

One other guest was noisy in the early morning but that is no fault of the hotel.
