Hotel is modern and great location near to the attractions. The room and toilet were more spacious than expected. Loved that there was a washer-dryer machine in the room, and the hotel provided the detergent. There was also a common laundry room for those who needed it. Bed was comfortable, and I liked that there was a seating area. Didn't realise before, but it was great to have a bigger trashbin in the toilet. Interesting to use the RFID room key to access the lift, and the level automatically lights up accordingly when you tap the keycard on the reader.

No issues for my stay, loved the hotel. For those staying longer term, I think the hotel does charge if you require full housekeeping service. If not, limited housekeeping is free (change towels and empty trashbins). Also, if you are carrying luggage, do note that you need to take a bus from the train station to the hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and really good location. 15 minutes from station. Walked to activities easily from hotel. The room layout was well designed. Plenty of natural light from window. Bonus was we discovered a great place for coffee just 3 minutes walk down the next street called Townfolk Cafe. Excellent hot chocolate and Granola with yoghurt. Very helpful assistance from staff at the tourist Information centre a few doors away who suggested a great Japanese restaurant just tucked in in the street behind our hotel. She also suggested Mza department store opposite the market for good quality linen and cotton clothes. Tokyu Stay Hotel was so well located for everything.

The location is convenient, with the main attractions nearby, and the train station is a 20-minute walk away. The room is bright and spacious, offering a beautiful view of Kanazawa Castle Park and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast is delicious, although a little unusual for Europeans.

I stayed there for a week and found the breakfast to be lacking in variety, with almost no fruit available. Plug adapters were only offered with a deposit, which I found odd. Every top-rated hotel should have socket adapters as standard service as most international travellers require them.

Very friendly staff, view from the window was amazing, the room was comfortable and clean. The washing machine was the cherry on top and we immediately fell in love with this hotel. close to all major attractions in the city. We didn't take a bus once ( apart from late hours after dag trips to nearby cities and temples ). Thank you Tokyu Stay staff for a wonderful experience

One of the towels had some spots of makeup of the previous residents, so we had to ask for a towel switch the very next day. Other than that, the hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the main station, or a 10 minute bus ride. But we enjoyed the long walks.

This balance between accessibility and tranquility is hard to find and definitely adds to the overall quality of the stay. One thing I really appreciated was the amenities desk in the lobby area. It was stocked with a wide variety of daily-use items such as combs, razors, cotton pads, hair ties, and more. This thoughtful detail shows how much the hotel considers guests’ comfort and convenience, especially for travelers who might forget or run out of these small essentials. The room itself exceeded my expectations. It was surprisingly spacious and well laid out, offering plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. What stood out the most were the in-room facilities: a washer-dryer combo, a unique-style clothes iron, a shoe dryer, and even an air purification/ventilation unit. These features are rarely found even in higher-end hotels and are especially valuable for longer stays or during humid seasons. Another highlight was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly polite, warm, and attentive. What a fantastic hotel! A true gem. Practical yet charming. The rooms were very comfortable. Washer/dryer in the room is a game changer - especially in the summer! Great location- steps from Omiya shrine bus stop. But what really sets Tokyu Stay apart is the FABULOUS staff. Everyone from the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping were so warm, kind and friendly. Starting from the message chats months before checkin to checkout - they were beyond helpful and accommodating. The breakfast spread was so varied and tasty! Kudos to the head chef - maybe the kind older gentleman who often helped at the window? There was pasta, pastries, Asian dishes and salads. All delicious and well thought out. And we've been to MANY breastfed buffets- from StRegis to Holiday Inns! So happy we got to experience lovely Kanazawa while staying at this gem!

1. Great location! A quick taxi ride or longer walk from Kanazawa Station, and easy walking distance from Kanazawa Castle, other tourist attractions, and many shops/restaurants. We were visiting to see the Hyakumangoku Festival and our room had a great view of a street that the big parade and dancing came down. It was also right near a lot of the festival food/game stalls. 2. Wonderful staff! They were all very kind and gave us more information about the festival. 3. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and gives off a vaguely similar vibe to Aloft Hotels.
