Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful The room was very clean and the sheets were changed every day, but space was rather tight, no place for luggage. Go for a queen size if possible, though that's the size of the bed, not the room, but you need the extra space. The beds were very comfortable.. The location and value for money were exceptional...everything you need within easy walking distance. We would definately use again. Good value for money The hotel has a welcome room in the lobby offering limitless free drinks in its happy hour 3 to 8pm which was amazingly generous.

The booking.com site says it has a laundry, but it does not. It only offers a laundry service. Lack of space for luggage and tight space.

Really liked our stay here. This might be our new favorite Japanese hotel chain. The room was Japanese normal-sized but what stood out was the bathroom. It was surprisingly spacious by with both a tub and a separate shower area and the water pressure was strong. It's also actually very affordable. Breakfast was solid. Buffet style with the usual options and they also had a regional Kanazawa soup dish. In the afternoon they put out free drinks like red wine, white wine, tea, and this local sake called Kagatobi. Location-wise, it’s right by Kanazawa Castle Park and right by a major bus stop. Definitely planning to book with this hotel chain again next time we're in Japan

Only thing is that they don’t have a coin laundry on site. But if you ask, they’ll give you a map with the two nearest ones marked.

The hotel was a few kilometres from the train station. There were plenty of taxis at the train station. The room was nice, compact but not super small. It was very clean. There was a small table and bench seat in the room which was useful. Complimentary welcome drinks and snacks were on offer in the afternoons which was a nice surprise. The hotel was located a short walk away from various tourist areas and restaurants.

We are a family of four and needed to book two rooms. However, this was the case for other hotels booked during our stay. Fortunately the rooms were next door to each other.

The location was perfect near many dining choices and right next to a bus stop for local buses. It was easy to navigate there by bus from the train station. It is also near many historic tourist sites. The cleanliness was excellent. It was quiet. We were accommodated next door to our son and his wife. The complimentary evening drinks in the dining area were an unexpected bonus!

The bed was slightly hard, but not as bad as some others I have experienced in Japan. There was no availability of evening meals on the premises. We ate out, but it was a small problem when one member of the group wasn't feeling well and it would have been easier for her to eat in the hotel.

Central location for all attractions, great rooms and an excellent buffet breakfast

Staff were “frosty” when we first arrived but did get better over our stay, unfortunately there was also a little communication problem re the onsite/offsite parking. As our van couldn’t fit in the garage facility offered by Koko, they directed me to a different one which either I mistakenly thought had an agreement with them or I got it completely wrong, either way $180 later I suggest never parking in an underground parking bay not at the hotel you book.

Excellent location and great buffet breakfast. Nice amenities and good service from staff. Close to many major attractions and a short bus ride from the main station, with buses running frequently along the route to the hotel.

The room was on the smaller side and a bit awkwardly laid out (e.g. the tv wasn’t viewable from the room’s couch, and was right next to one of the beds). There was limited space to put clothes (just a couple of hangers along the entrance) and even with just 2 small suitcases you couldn’t really put them out of the way or open them easily, which got annoying when staying a few nights.

Very central location, from Kanazawa Station it is only 4 stops by bus and then you are in the center of Kanazawa close to the main attractions like the garden, castle and market. The room was very confortable and cleaned and we had a bath in the bathroom with all the needed amenties. You had a lot of choice for breakfast and it was very good! Then the hotel kept our luggage for the day before leaving. In addition, the staff speaks English very well.

The only drawback is that the coffees for breakfast could be improved with a real coffee machine to make cappucino, latte... instead of just strong black coffee.

Good location, clean and spacious for a Japanese hotel

Nothing with the hotel, I booked a extra night and was expected to book out and then check in again at 15:00. What was annoying the previous day when I booked the additional day I went to reception asked if payment had gone through ok, key card updated and additional breakfast coupon given. I had a debate with reception who then informed me I could keep the room after 30 minutes …..only to then receive a call to inform me payment hadn’t gone through …back to reception paid …..30 minutes later another call I had to let room service in to clean the room ! I’d had a late night all I wanted was a few more hours sleep !

The hotel was extremely well located, next to a large luxury shopping mall with a food hall on the ground floor, and a restaurant floor up high. It was within short walking distance to the Samurai district, and had a bus stop almost directly out the front. The hotel had free happy hour wine and sake every evening with nuts and snacks for guests in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The beds were reasonably comfortable.

The pillows are Japanese style, but considering that we are in Japan that is hardly surprising.

I was impressed by the hotel’s complete hygiene amenities – you could arrive without even bringing face cream. The room also encouraged relaxation with a bath and provided bath salts, which made for a perfect soak. A thoughtful and well-equipped stay.

However, the room was very small, and even with only carry-on suitcases, it was quite difficult to fit them in the limited space. Additionally, some of the staff did not speak English, which made communication a bit challenging at times.
