Perfect location next to everything you wanna see. Almost every line to all places of interest are on the crossing next to the hotel. The staff is amazing! The fullfilled everything that we wanted (room upgrade and room change) with no hassle. Recommendation in every aspect!

One of our favourite places to stay on our Japan trip (me and my wife). Lovely sleek modern interior. Lovely little guest lounge area open till late which had a great tea selection and a filtered water station (you have glass bottles in your room to top up here, save plastic!). The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Peaceful nights. Bathroom and shower again spacious, good power in the shower. Number 1 thing that made this place was the staff. Lively and kind people. Hope to return one day.

I only have one negative remark and thats to do with the clothes hanging pole area, the space is a little to short to hang trousers and coats unfolded.

Hotel and the room were stylish and had all the necessary facilities. Lounge and rooftop terrace were nice addition. Location was good, in a relatively short distance from the center and right next to subway station and several bus lines.

I didn' t realize that adjoining bathroom means that you have to have your room key with you every time you go to the bathroom. This was really quite uncomfortable and didn't make sense, why there just couldn't be a normal door to the corridor instead of a sliding door and then sliding doors from the small hallway to the bathroom and bedroom? It's also worth noting there wasn't any USB sockets, only sockets for electric plugs which was a bit surprising.

Nice and stylish reception area and lounge, friendly staff, possiblity to stock up on various hygenic appliances for your room, rather comfortable beds, quiet location close to the beautiful park (a must visit if you are into nature), lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The room was gloomy, almost no daylight. It was not cleaned unless you left the "please clean my room" card outside, which we forgot every time. The laundry is really small, had to wait for a long time. Just two options of breakfast - European and Japanese, which were the same every day. If you are staying for more than 2 days you do not enjoy this anymore. No fruit in either options. If you drink tea you have to pay for it (coffee, by contrast, is included).

The location is excellent for easy access to subway, buses, restaurants and 15mins walk (or one subway ride) to major shopping areas. The surrounding neighborhoods are quiet yet with much to explore. The hotel has modern and thoughtful decoration. The lounge and rooftop are nice addition. We liked the comfortable beds and relatively spacious bathroom. Our standard western room is big enough for two adult with two carry on suitcases and two backpacks, but it can feel more crammed if someone travels with more luggage. Good breakfast.

The WiFi was spotty in our room.

Very pretty room, and decent space to stay for a few days. Our room type had a private bathroom, however you did need you leave the room, out the main door to get into it through a sort of middle space that was sectioned off only by a sliding door. The hotel felt safe enough, so we did get used to it but did find it a bit odd to have to go through these big steel doors between your rooms with your room key. In saying that, the bathroom was huge, modern, and really nice. The drinking taps were downstairs in the communal lounge room, where you can find some complimentary tea aswell (No complimentary coffee unfortauntely). We liked the location, very close to the train station, we could walk with our bags easily. Close to a beautiful park full of blossoms. We basically walked everywhere as its so flat, so found the location good for us. Overall, we had a lovely stay

Really nice ambience. Generally the rooms and the toilet were clean, however under the sofa , it appears no one has cleaned there for ages. So that’s why I have marked the cleanliness down. We were a family of 3. The goyza place, the robot cafe and the McDonald’s round the corner was all the food my 13 year old wanted. The lounge downstairs was lovely and had microwave and water filling station, so as far as sustainability goes -5 stars. There could be more washing machines and dryers to help with the queue to wash. This facility was great help as we had clean clothes for our next bit of the journey. The staff were very pleasant.

This hotel was a beautiful blend of minimalism and thoughtful design. Everything felt intentional. I especially appreciated the pajama set and high-quality amenities. The tea selection in the room was excellent!

The room was quite small, so it might feel a bit tight if you're traveling with large suitcases. Breakfast was fine, but I was expecting something a little more memorable given how polished the rest of the experience was. Overall, it’s a great option for travelers who appreciate design, comfort, and a calming atmosphere. Perfect for solo stays or couples.

The location was great, very close to the metro and walking distance to lots of things we wanted to see in Kyoto. The hotel was also close to bus stops for the days we wanted to get out of the city. The room was comfortable for 4 of us (2 adults 2 children), but not spacious, however this didn't really matter as we were out all day. The staff gave us some great recommendations for local food places and were greatly helpful during our stay. There is a 7-eleven and a Fresco supermarket within about a 3 minute walk of the hotel which was really helpful. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants close by.

It would have been nice to have a little more space in the room, with 4 people plus our luggage it was a little tight, however our overall stay was great and I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel entrance, guest lounge downstairs is so scenic & zen. The room was really nice and clean. We picked one with a larger space where we could push 2 floor mattresses together. The bathroom was great -- love the shower & tub situation. But for our particular room, the bathroom was outside of our bedroom area connected by a private hallway and you had to make sure to keep a keycard with you so you don't get locked out of the bedroom. I just put a shoe in the doorway so as not to lock myself out. The staff are very helpful and even provided great suggestions for places to eat. Laundry machines are easy to use only 400 yen to wash clothes and 100 yen per half hour of drying.

Its a bit of a walk from Nishiki market. Not too bad about 15 mins but can be difficult in the cold. Breakfast was OK - I wouldn't eat breakfast here everyday unless you have to get up early and don't have any other options. Dryer doesn't work well -- they need to clean out the lint.
