The location is superb. 7 eleven right in across the street, a 5 min walk from airport bus stop to nagasaki station and so many buses and trams that are within a 5 min walk. It's well maintained and clean. Checkin information was easy and simple to understand. The kitchen is available 24/7 which is a delight since i had to wake up early (4am) for breakfast. There's a huge fridge that is well-maintained, bread for toast, jam and butter available. The bathrooms and toilets were really clean.

The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable. We got the bunk bed which creaked easily everytime we shifted slightly and the pillow was a little too thin and unsupportive. The bunk bed was also built in a way that made getting in and out of the bottom bed inconvenient. The room also smelled a little funky at first due to the lack of ventilation which was weird since the ventilation fan was REALLY loud when switched on. Our room was right beside the washing area and bathrooms and the door and wall was so thin we could hear people going about their business at anytime of the day, even late into the night.

I used to live nearby, so I can say that the hostel is located in an excellent spot between Chinatown and the Hamanomachi shopping arcade. There are a few convenience stores in the area, and access to three tram stops. The staff, whenever I saw them, were quite friendly. As I stayed in a private room, both the bed and the pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. The facilities were kept clean on a daily basis. There was an incident involving the plumbing, affecting my room while I was out one evening. The staff were able to clean up the room and replace the bedding, while respecting personal boundaries regarding my belongings that were out in the open.

It's genuinely difficult for me to write about the negatives, given that the experience was very positive. The only downside I had was the aforementioned plumbing problem, but to be fair, the staff was able to handle the problem quickly, and the owner of the hostel is proactive in getting things fixed. I guess it's a matter of luck.

Great hostel, for great price. I like these hostels where you get 100% privacy in your own little private "room", where I could comfortably place my things, also with a big locker that fitted all my photography gear + laptop (which means the locker is big!). I liked the shared lounge / kitchen, it's a nice space to hangout and meet other travelers, it had this very welcoming feeling. There was also coin laundry and dryer machines for a cheap price. Good WiFi, I managed to do some work from my laptop, including video calls. It's a self check-in hostel, so it's takes just a minute, and you get a code to open the hostel's door, so no key is required. The location is very close to some restaurants and bars, and walking distance to buses and the tram.

The hostel looks new and aesthetically pleasing. It's located next to Chinatown and near transport. Room was big - no squeezing and plenty of space to park your luggage! Beds are comfortable and cosy, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen has all the amenities you need and toilets are clean. Rooms are on the 2F onwards, and there is no elevator but the stairs are not very steep and is manageable even if you have heavy luggage like I did. 10/10 recommended even for longer stays :D

This hostel was very comfortable and I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. It was very clean and the shared bathroom facilities were stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Daily breakfast of toast and jam was really appreciated, along with coffee and tea. It is close to lots of shopping and restaurants and an easy walk or tram ride to major tourist sites in Nagasaki. I was in an air conditioned room with 8 beds, all women. I was glad to get a bottom bunk. There are privacy curtains on each bunk. The bed was comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. All bedding was provided. I would definitely stay here again. Free wifi was also included.

I didn’t mind that there was no elevator, but I was on the second floor. If you are staying on one of the higher floors, that may be an issue.

Very convenient location. There’s a convenience store across the street. If you like to walk a lot, Chinatown, Dejima, the Dutch Slope, the Confucius Shrine, Glover Garden and Oura Church are around the area! I also walked to the port to ride the ferry to Battleship island and it took me only around 15 minutes. I also like that it’s close to the bus terminal so it’s just one straight shot to and from the airport.

I wasn’t too happy about the luggage storage area because it’s just out in the open. I had a backpack with me and my laptop was inside. Since I don’t have a lock, I couldn’t leave it. I also didn’t like the frosted windows- couldn’t get natural light and see the outside world!

Really lovely little travellers lodge. Clean & comfortable. A great little communal area. where we unintentionally ended up spending quite a bit of time making friends with Japanese travellers. A really memorable experience 🙂

The only downside was the thin walls & doorways. Our room had virtually no soundproofing, so we could hear doors banging and conversations as other guests came in late on a Saturday night. Not great if your a light sleeper, but apart from that it was a real gem.

The location was perfect. Centrally located to a lot of the main tourist sites to visit in Nagasaki & close to the street car & bus stops. Everything was clean, well equipped and the free breakfast, while minimal, was of high quality. The staff, owners & volunteers were incredible and had great recommendations.

Certainly not a big deal, but the walls are a bit thin, so if people are being noisy, you can hear it quite clearly.

The location is the best. Right in the middle of town. You can take the airport limousine straight to and from the hostel. The bus stop for that is only 5 mins walk flat path. Close to tram lines. Owner and staff are very nice and kind. Check-in procedure is seemless. Bathroom and toilets are clean. Kitchen is clean. 7-11 directly across the road. Wifi is robust.

Stairs only, if you're carrying heavy luggage it might make you huff. The blanket is a bit short but that's to be expected of all Japanese style accomodations. 6" person like myself, it doesn't cover from head to toe.

It's a small Guesthouse with one floor for women and one for men, and the shared space located in Te ground floor Place is clean, well maintained and staff always helpful. Each bed has an additional half square metre so it's handy for placing your small luggage and personal stuff.

I stayed in a bed right next to the windows and there's was street noise coming in during the weekend, but it stopped at around 1am. Nothing that really stopped me for having a sleep afterwards.
