Good location. Can reach many places on foot or by taking bus/tram with few minutes walk. Comfortable and big bed. All nights were really calm and I had good rest there. Maybe just sleeping area was a bit too warm for sleeping, because AC was blowing quite hot air. Common area has a lot of seating, enough showers & toilets. You can cook food here too.
All rules or maybe more how they are displayed and in what manner written makes you feel like you are not welcome here or like you are in some kind of correctional facility. Overall didn't meet many ppl, it feels more not like hostel vibe, but just a place to sleep and move on.

I had a very comfortable stay; the cubicles are the widest I've seen so far, with enough space to store your luggage beside your bed! The mattress was a little bit hard but the pillow was absolute heaven! It had a nice common space and and wide sinks with toiletries provided. The location was great, very close to Urakami Station and walking distance to the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb museum! Would definitely recommend!!
Check-in was with the use of a tablet, it was a bit strange to not meet any people but they didn't advertise otherwise so it was as expected! It went very smoothly though! They store luggage before check-in but not after check-out, that was a bit of a bummer.

Although the hostel had no staff on duty, it was impressively well-managed and organized for a self-service place. The room and facilities were clean, the beds were comfortable, and my request to store luggage before my stay was handled smoothly. The location was convenient—on a quiet street, yet just a stone’s throw from bus stops on the main corridor, a large shopping mall, and the giant Ferris wheel. It’s also just a short transit ride from Nagasaki Station.
They don’t seem to offer luggage storage after check-out. Since everything was automated and monitored with cameras—and no staff were present—the place felt a bit cold, impersonal, and even at times eerie (when there was no one around, which was the case during my stay). Also, if you're unsure how to use something, it may be difficult to get help due to the lack of on-site assistance.

Mezame is located a short walk from the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb museum and a short street car ride to the city center. The capsule beds are spacious, clean and quiet as are the toilets and showers. There is a little kitchen and communal area. It is an excellent value.
This was one of the most alienating hostel experiences. You must pre-register to get a code for the front door and then check in on a tablet, even record a video of you saying your name. There are a lot of rules, cameras, and even a threat for breaking the rules. Felt like something from a Kafka novel and not in a fun way... Perhaps by not having a front desk they cut a night’s price. Maybe for others this won’t be a problem, but I’d prefer a smoother check-in experience and one with human communication.

I loved this hostel! First of all, the location is amazing. It’s just a few stops from Nagasaki Station and about a two minute walk from the tram stop. There is a big shopping mall about five minutes from the hostel and I had a great dinner there (lots of other things you need close by too). I had no issues with the person less check-in. The facilities were so clean and the capsules were huge with space to put your things. The lounge was a handle place to have breakfast. Would highly recommend this place if you want a quiet non social spot to spend the night.
I didn’t mind it at all but this hostel isn’t social. It was so quiet when I stayed there and I only saw about five others who didn’t chat at all.

I stayed mixed dorm and it was very comfortably big space . Also, each room has quit enough space for bunk bed. You can bring your backpack in your private room. They have many shower rooms, so I didn't need to wait for the shower. The room, shower rooms, toilet, common area, and the kitchen were so clean. They even have hair strainers, cotton puffs, shavers for free. The location of this hostel is also huge plus. It takes 5min to Uragami train station, bus stops, and tram stops by foot. It was very comfortable and was very quiet even in the daytime. No one was talking in the dorm area and the neighbors were also quiet. I definitely want to come back here when I visit to Nagasaki.

The privacy of each bed was great. The bathrooms were big and very clean. Common area had microwave and other cooking utensils. Towels provided, easy check in process. Comfortable pillow and doona.
The slippers only went to a size 26, quite typical for Japanese sizes but as a hostel that will likely have many westerners a few bigger sizes would be helpful. No lift, which was fine just something to note if you have heavy bags. The ventilation in each cubicle was not the best and there was this weird noise each night which made it a little difficult to get to sleep. Not a social hostel, very to yourself.

The staff helped me late at night when I had a problem with my luggage lock after I emailed them. I also like how I got a towel for each night.
I wish I got a heads-up that vacated cells get cleaned at 10 AM. I was in bed at 10 AM for one day and I heard other cells get cleaned. Though, I can see why it’s 10 AM because checkout time is 10 AM.

It’s very comfortable and close to the tram-station and Urakami Station. The Dormbeds are more like big capsuels with a small space for the luggage (it even fitted my big backpack) and there is also a tiny built in table. The showers and powderroom were spacious as well. Since the whole checkin and out process is online I didn’t see any staff but as long as there is no issue that’s fine. The kitchen was a little small and there was not much eating space. I guess if the Hostel is fully booked that could become overcrowded quite fast.
nothing really

Spacious and large dorm room. The individual "capsules" are very big, with a bed (not directly on the floor) and a little desk and storage space. Plenty of showers, toilets and sinks in the shared bathing area. A smallish kitchen with large dining area, but no chairs or couch to lounge or relax.
It is not near to the "center" but well connected by bus, tram and train.
