First off staff were very friendly and helpful but have a translation app handy if you need to communicate. We had no problems and were able to communicate well. The hotel has an automated check-in terminal with English options. Also in the room they have an information service on their TV with english options and some movies to watch in English and Japanese. The room itself was clean and very comfortable with some free amenities. There was a fridge there but be sure to flip the switch to turn it on. Location for the hotel is very convenient with lots of shops and tourist attractions a short distance away. Also to note is that the hotel offers a luggage storage service in case you need to leave luggage with them if you should arrive early or want to sight see on the day you check out. If checking in a lot of luggage I would play it safe and let the staff know in advance if you intend to use the service and if it's ok.

Only issue I had was there wasn't any instructions on using the aircon. I don't know if it wasn't turned on or I made a mistake in the settings but it wouldn't work for some time and I thought I went through everything. Eventually it did come on later in the night either because I hit the right setting or the hotel activated it but clear instructions would be great. If it then didn't work I would know to go to the front desk . My advice would be to try get it working right after you check in so if you have any problems you'll have time to go to the front desk and ask them for help.

EXCELLENT LOCATION - few blocks away from shopping malls so I was able to go shopping, go back to the hotel to drop off my bags, take a little rest, then go shop again. There are also a lot of dining options (i.e. Yamachan) and convenience store (7-11 and Family Mart) nearby. SPACIOUS ROOM - it was my first time staying at APA hotel but I had stayed at other budget hotels before. I would say this is the most spacious room I've stayed in. I was able to leave my medium size luggage open on the floor and still have a lot of space to move around. AMENITIES - I also quite enjoyed using the Yukata provided. Coffee/tea and toiletries are replenished everyday.

The location was excellent for my purposes and it was very easy to find.Only one or two minutes walk straight from the subway exit. The staff were very helpful when I left something in the lobby after I had checked out. When I returned they had picked it up and handed it to me. I thought it was really excellent value for money. I also liked the espresso machine in the room.

No complaints. Perhaps some breakfast tea in the room!

Everything is good. I like the pillows. They have 2 kinds of pillows on the bed. The staff also helpful. We're driving so met the parking staff who show energy when service and try to communicate with us.

There's a dust on the floor at the headboard side, coffee machine also have dust. I'm not sure is it from the curtain that I open & close or not.

The parking fee is a bit high. should have discount for hotel guest. 1 night is 2,000 Yen 30 mins is 250 Yen. I park only 1 hr. I have to pay 500 Yen, in this case other public parking is cheaper. You need to leave your key with their staffs at the parking lot which I think it weird.

Location was so convenient. Staff were more than just the typical Japanese lovely. Room was very spacious for an APA hotel and it was overall a great experience.

APA Hotels always feel a little too expensive for what they offer, but at the end of the day, you have everything you need most of the time.

Great location for Nagoya. Very close to Sakae subway station and the Sakae area which has plenty of food and nightlife. The Nagoya Chubu tower is also right behind this hotel.

Hotel entrance is 2F and escalators were being serviced during my trip, so it was inconvenient at times.

Location is superb. Near train and bus station. Hotel staff were nice and accomodating.

on our first day the room smells smoke and the bed was not good. But they resolve the problem immediately

We hope the staff can be trained to support foreigners who seek for help in booking and communicating with local restaurants. In the description, the hotel may consider clearly state that there is another fee to use the gym on site

The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Have to transfer lift from car park to reception and to room. Missed the cleaning before 9.00 am as this was not informed to us earlier but information can be found on back of door.
