A 5 minutes walk from Nagoya station :) This branch (as there are 2 other Daiwa Roynet hotels around Nagoya station) is also very near places that will most likely appeal to those who are into anime and manga culture like me, including places like TCG card shops, book stores, an Animate outlet and the Animate cafe! The staff are friendly and this hotel offers an ample supply of coin laundries as well as a luggage delivery service!

My room came with a big massage chair which was unnecessary for me, and although the room has a decent amount of space, I could use a little more without the chair. Some people might not see this as a negative point though!

Check-in time at 2pm. Staff was polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast at the Vietnamese restaurant downstairs is reasonably priced at ¥1500. Good to have a 7-11 convenience store right below the hotel. The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is good.

Walking from Nagoya station is about 12-13 minutes. Look for Taiko dori Side Exit. Turn left and walk straight n then turn right at the traffic lights. Walk another 2 minutes and look out for the 7-11 across the street. Not easy to locate, especially with our luggage on Day 1. You will need an umbrella if it's a rainy day. No sheltered walkway. Twin room is quite tight.

Clean, good sized bedroom with fridge, pjs provided and really nice bathroom. Reception area really smart and clean. Good first impression. This was a quick stopover on way to Toyko from Hiroshima. Close to station, 7-11 in building, opposite and round corner so perfect for us. Only 10 min walk to station - easy to find and so glad we didn't go for hotels directly opposite station as a little seedy (full of escort bars). We got a getaway deal as a Genius member so very good value for money. I would recommend for a stopover.

Nothing. It was great. Didn't use restaurant and we didn't have breakfast.

Good location. It’s a typical Daiwa series hotel. The room size is enough to put two big luggages and 2 small luggages. There is 7-11 at first floor. It’s convenient to buy drink and food at midnight.

The room floor carpet looks not clean. Not sure it’s results by color issue or heavy used. The breakfast has less choices compared to other Diawa hotel. We lived in 3 different Diawa hotel in my trip. Other two are very impressive (Kanazawa and Toyama). So we choose to stay in Diawa hotel again in Nagoya. Apparently this one is not like others two.

Carpark at the hotel and affiliated carpark nearby which is great for people who intend to drive, location was good, convenient but not to noisy

Can be more clean, long hair was noted on the bathroom floor and bathtub which is supposed to be left behind since I stayed with my son both with short hair, would have expected better cleansing

Second time already. During my first time in 2023, they provided us with drinking water every day. This time around 2024, drinking water is no longer provided every day. Even if you ask the front desk, they will say, "NO WATER." Drinking water does not cost much, so I wonder why this is not complimentary for every guest. Just a suggestion, provide drinking water for guests.

It was very conveniently located to the train station, multiple restaurants nearby and a 7-11 on the bottom level

The staff was rude. The room was tiny. The bed took up all the room and there was no place to store clothes. Since the room was so small we decided to have dessert in the lobby, We were then asked to not eat or drink in the lobby, and not politely.

Proximity to Nagoya Sta. and 7-11 at the ground level. Pajamas are provided. Drip coffee in disposable sachets always available at the self-service area near reception.

The mattress was hard for my liking and there was only one pillow per person. Wish the hotel used better brands for toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) like Pola

Efficient friendly check in, clean comfortable rooms, great bathroom facilities, great to have both 7-11 and Vietnamese Restaurant on the ground floor, very handy to Nagoya Station and central Nagoya. We were staying there for the F1 Grand Prix and it was an easy 5 minute walk to the station each morning, and just 10 minutes from action on the other side of the station.

After staying in the Daiwa Roynet Kyobashi in Tokyo, we missed small things like the bedside/desktop USB chargers - only small things though - otherwise great. The futon style beds were a bit firm and a bit short for our European bodies! :-)

Great location - There is a convenient store, and, a Vietnamese restaurant on ground floor. It is a few minutes walk to a 24-hour supermarket, and, an underground shopping & dining street. Walking to JR/Kintetsu/Meitetsu train stations takes just a few minutes more.

I like that toilet and bath are in separate rooms, but I think there should be soap or hand wash provided in the toilet.
