It was a comfortable stay. The tap water was safe for drinking. The hot water kettle had a seal so that boiling water would not spill out. The chair had wheels, which made it easy to use on the carpeted floor. There was a short selection of movies and TV shows, all with Japanese subtitles and a few with English. There was enough space to open standard airplane carryon-sized bags. The water stayed warm in the bathtub for a long time, so I was able to enjoy a good soak. However, it was short, so I could not stretch out fully. Although I could hear the traffic signal outside, I slept quite well. The light buttons near the bed were intuitive and easy to use. The room got dry since I used heating throughout the night, so I was glad I could slightly open the window for ventilation. The breakfast was filling and delicious, but may not be suitable to those who do not have a palate for Japanese food. There is a convenience store and a few good restaurants within walking distance.

There are many APA hotels in the area and the station area itself is difficult to navigate, so make sure you note down the 3-digit number visible at the entrance of the building to find the correct one.

The best value hands down. Excellent customer service, well designed rooms, location, and clean. The pictures that your hotel uploads actually make the rooms look worse. It's the first time that I experienced where in real life the rooms looked better than the pictures. The rooms are tiny but it is well planned. I have been to bigger rooms and washrooms at other Japanese hotels but I end up banging my elbow here and there due to bad room design but that does not happen at APA.

Love everything! The hotel is 10 mins away from Nagoya Station. Just follow Google Maps. I arrived by almost 12am and the staff accommodated me well. My room is perfect for solo travel. Have all the amenities I need - from shower to bed. I booked a tour to Shirakawa-go via Klook and the meet up place is in VIP Bus Liner which is 3 mins away from my hotel. There are nearby 711, Lawson and Family Mart too. Thank you for the great stay. 😍😍😍

Convenient location on a fairly quiet street. Toyota Car-rental is very close to the hotel making for easy pick-up. There is a large Family Mart convenient store located just opposite the road. Not far walk from Nagoya Shinkansen station too. Several anime related stores located behind the hotel. Unusually larger room for a business hotel. The room was comfortable with under-bed storage for suitcases. The chair has roller wheels which is a nice touch for not being an obstacle. Recycle bins for plastics located in room. Wifi was fast and stable. Free APA-TV movies were available during our visit. Unsure if this is a promotional period or permanent. Heated toilet seat and heaps of bathroom amenities like toothbrushes, combs, disposable razor etc. Light switches built into bed headboard for convenient reach. Plenty of hooks located on the walls for hanging coats and jackets. Friendly staff that speak English. Coin laundry machines at the ground floor and staff always has change for notes into coins.

Not all APA-TV movies have english subtitles. While the room is bigger than usual, the bathroom is still small.

Just what I needed for a short stay. APA single rooms are just that - good for one person. MAYBE two if you're okay sharing close quarters. Some find small spaces comfy. I have no complaints staying at APA hotels. Standardized. Reliable. Clean. Nothing fancy but I don't need anything fancy.

I find this to be everywhere but I find Japanese beds and pillows are exceptionally firm. I also don't understand what's with the bathroom needing to be a step up?

Breakfast.... I couldn't change the temperature in the room. Quite a lit of traffic noise. There are so many sirens on this side of town compared to the other side of the station. There is an APA on the other side that I would choose to stay at if I did it again. And I wouldn't include breakfast. Breakfast and my last hotel was 100%

Standard APA hotel. Beds are good, showers/bath are good, small rooms but suitcase fits under the bed which helps. But price reflects, good choice for business and solo traveling. Dimmable light switches and controls on the bed are great.

Tv choice built in app for YouTube rather than screen share would be Nice. Sometimes usb charger by bet didn't work but plenty of plugs. Pillows could use some work

The location of the establishment as relatively near the Nagoya Train Station. However, dining place was limited to the Nagoya Train Station but there were a lot of convenience store nearby. Good shopping Mall that give discount to tourists.

The breakfast choices would have been better.

Bathroom very small but this was clearly advertised - not a major issue for me. I stayed here while attending the Japanese Grand Prix and it suited perfectly.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. The room was very clean and spacious. And it had everything I needed.

The unagi (grilled eel) rice box served for breakfast was delicious, but there were very few other options - mainly just raw eggs and some pickles.
