The staff were very nice and friendly every time I had interacted with them. Their amazing team works hard each and every day to clean and maintain the rooms and bathrooms which were always cleaned with effort and care. It made me want to do my best not to make their jobs harder. This place felt like more than just a hostel, but rather a home that the staff always takes care of with their very best.

My only complaint would be that the place where we put our shoes, ends up smelling a little bit. But considering it is shoes, I suppose it can't be helped.

Location was amazing as it is 2 streets from the main station. It felt very secure with the passcode door. Hangout space downstairs was very good and the staff seemed nice and chill. Bathrooms facilities were adequate. Bed was not extremely comfortable as it's traditional style mattress but they state this beforehand so it was expected. The personal item locker felt extremely secure as you put your own passcode in.

It was a bit noisy in the room as there are so many people in each room but really with ear plugs it was not an issue. Bathrooms were a bit crowded in the morning as there are only 2 toilets for 30 people.

2nd time staying here. Only for one night this time as we were heading to Ghibli park early in the morning. Super comfortable, and cosy capsules with great amenities including hair straighteners/curlers which was such a nice touch. They also held our bags for us after check out for ¥300 per bag. This meant we could go early in the morning to Ghibli park without running around looking for suitable coin lockers. Great hostel, would definitely stay again.

People in our dorm were quite noisy and used the hair dryer from 5am. Maybe some signs up or an actual door to the shower area would help with the early morning noise?

The location is walking distance from nagoya station. Very convenient and lots of food places and convenience stores around the area. The room and other public spaces in the hotel are very clean and the staffs are nice.

The futon is comfortable but the length of the capsule is a little short. I am of average height (165cm) but my feet are almost reaching the edge of the capsule. I don't know if it's also the same with the mixed bedrooms (i stayed at the women only area) It wasn't much of a problem for me, i just thought of mentioning it as reference.

Great hostel, only around the corner from Nagoya station and a Lawson right on the corner, loved the little seating area for getting ready in the morning, plus hair dryers and curlers for anyone to use instead of having to bring your own, staff were super helpful when I had a problem operating the washing machine also

The showers on my floor weren't working at the time which was a little inconvenient but not enough to put me off coming back. Was a little too warm for me at night

The place was near to the Nagoya railway station. I stayed only one night because I followed my favorite japanese band’s tour. The staff was nice, the check-in at the desk with the tablets was simple, they help you if you don’t understand. Free drink bar, there is an elevator. The bathroom was clean (even at 1am) and there were a lot of stuffs to use it. There is a computer in the room and aou can have a headset and mouse at the reception.

I did not like that there were holes between the capsules. The air condition did not work in the room. There were some fans but did not really help

It is located between places that seem to be some kind of sex-shops. I did not read about it in the reviews. Never felt uncomfortable, but did not arrive after 23.00. No bowls or sink in the common area to use for breakfast. Bed matrass is extremely thin. It is a topper, not a matras. Common area is very cold since they leave a big door open all the time.

Very close to Nagoya station and the whole last floor was for women so it was very confortable. Everything was clean and cozy exactly like shown in the pictures.

I think that it would be nice to add a fan inside the bed because when you close the curtain the air-conditioning can't get in. The small street had night clubs with explicit pictures but it was safe and quite.

My stay at HOSTEL WASABI Nagoya Ekimae was satisfactory. The hostel's convenient location near the train station made exploring the city effortless. The sleeping area was surprisingly spacious, providing a comfortable rest after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the complimentary black coffee and tea were a delightful bonus, adding to the overall experience.

Opening and arranging items in your luggage proved challenging due to the limited space provided. Additionally, the room lacked the tranquility needed for a peaceful rest, as other guests often snored, coughed loudly, or whistled. However, it's important to note that this is a shared space, and such disturbances are not attributable to the property itself.

It was so close to the train station which was really convenient. The bunk was comfortable and we had one that had the opening next to it so we were in one big bunk. The bunk was cool and comfortable and had a charging port, shelf and TV that could turn into a computer which was cool. The showers and amenities were great also.
