I love the aesthetic of this hostel. The rooms are really cute and have a gorgeous rug and comfortable bed. The cafe downstairs is excellent and you wake up to the smell of coffee. Staff were extremely helpful and offered to carry our bags up the stairs. They allowed luggage storage until 9pm which was very kind.

the Toto bidet was broken on every floor. In a country where there is a bidet in every train station it feels like a downgrade. Idk why ALL of them were broken. If it’s that bad, management needs to run to the store and get these replaced asap. Also… I’d love a hot water heater in the room or available for public use to make ramen or tea. There’s no elevator, which I don’t mind but is useful to know.

Junka was the most wonderful host, she is thoughtful, and seems to genuinely enjoy interacting with guests. Its hard to explain how something that seems so inconsequential can make a difference but as someone who has run a guest house i think this is probably what is meant by the japanese word omotenashi? I am not sure. But great stay, almost perfect.

The rooms were super cold first night we didnt realize it would be like that, so prepare yourself accordingly if you are going in winter.

Great location - just a 5 min walk to two well connected subway stations. The neighbourhood was quiet but I never felt unsafe while walking home at night. It was a great place to come back to after a day of hustle and bustle downtown. The common areas (including showers) and rooms were clean, people were respectful and the staff were always friendly and welcoming!

For the dorm rooms in the basement, it would have been nice to at least have a small sink. The sink and shower were located on the 2nd floor.

The location was close to the station. The staff were really helpful and helping us organise our day. They were very friendly. Rooms are very large, places to sit, hang up clothes, spread out. On every floor, there was a bathroom, toilet, sink space, water, fridge. Really enjoyed and would stay there again. Bathrooms were cute, gave more "authentic" Japan vibes.

The common space was small and less cosy than some other hostels. No elevator, therefore would not have been accessible with an injury. Lots of stairs.

One of the most spacious hostel! You’d have your own space beside the bed, where for me, I could change and put my luggage in my own room area, therefore very good privacy (unlike other hostels where luggage placements are at shared area). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money!

Quieter, local housing area with minimal attractions nearby. About 20-25 mins bus ride to Dotombori/Namba area.

The staff are very kind and helpful. They kept my luggage while I took a two-day trip in between my stay there. The room is comfortable and gives enough privacy. Other guests are all very respectful and the night was quiet and I had no problem with sleeping. I stayed in the ground floor which is easy for dragging big suits cases in and out.

The ventilation on the ground floor could be slightly better. But it is no big issue.

Cozy and funky hostel. You get your own 'room' in the dorm which is a huge advantage over the usual bunk/capsule beds. Facilities were clean, lots of amenities available for use and the staff were very friendly. The cafe and shop were lovely too.

There's no elevator, and depending on what floor you are staying in, there will be a lot of stairs to climb! The washing/drying machines were on the top floor, so I had climb 5 flights of stairs multiple times to do my laundry...

Pretty close to Universal, a little bit far from Osaka’s station but very well communicated using metro and it is really cheap. Also there is two metro stops close by so it makes it easier. Very clean and the personal was very kind. Shared rooms are so private which I loved it. My best bed & breakfast in the world and that’s saying a lot.

I can’t say a bad thing.

Great room, it’s like a hotel room in a dormitory. It’s great for solo travellers. All of the staff I interacted with were incredibly friendly and helpful. They have so many amenities it’s great.

You can’t turn the lights on or off yourself, one of the staff members does it at seemingly random times. I had to ask one to turn the light off even though it was past midnight.

the location is good and in a quiet neighborhood. Staff are very friendly and attentive, since it was raining on the day of check out, a staff member gave us umbrella for free. The tatami mattresses were very comfortable and you could sleep well.

Unfortunately, the walls are very thin, so you quickly wake up if someone is talking loudly in the hallway. There is no kitchen to store or prepare food.
