The location was very good if you like the nightlife. We had a private room which was large enough for us and even had a small couch. Easy acces to shared toilet and showers where the shampoo was included.

There where only 2 wall outlets, placed above each other. I think that 2 is already a bit too few if you are with 2 persons and you want to charge your phones but also cameras etc. We couldn't use the 2 outlets because we need adapter blocks (we have European plugs). The adapter blocks are large and therefore only 1 outlet could be used.

It was my second time staying here, the first was in a dorm, but this time, I was in a private room. The location is top notch, and it's cozy on the common areas. The room needed some upkeep. The walls were dirty, but a clean eraser sponge could have solved that issue. The bedding was so very thin that I would wake up with a sore back. The dorm one felt much more cozier and fluffy than the one I got in the private room, which was a shock. Enough space for my bag, a table no chair, and a small square mirror that was set to my chest (I'm 164 cm). Overall wasn't impressed, just got more privacy bc i want in a dorm. Also the key would get stuck ALL the time

The location is really great as it's right beside Dotonburi and all the food stalls and famous Glico man. If you come out of Namba station, take exit B4 and stay to your left to get to the hostel. The first intersection you see, you'll cross the road and the hostel will be a couple hundred meters on your right close by the 7-11. The staff are friendly, speak enough English and the price is great for the stay. You are also able to come in and leave anytime. I had a twin bunk bed room and got a key so no one could enter while I was gone.

There were some comments about cleanliness and while I agree that the room walls could be cleaner, the bed itself and shower areas were fine. I think expectations need to be kept reasonable given that it is a hostel and not a hotel with a whole cleaning staff doing room service.

Price is great. I got a single private room for 4000 yen / night. Good location at dotonburi. friendly and helpful staff who did what they could to assist guests. No duty staff on at night, so they put up individual notices informing guests who could only arrive late, how to check-in / where their rooms was / etc. After 8pm need to key in a code to enter the side door - they give you a small plastic tag with the code in case you can't remember it. There's a washing machine (200 yen) with free detergent and dryer (100 yen). These were very useful. Place was clean and there were no weird smells. Air-conditioning (whether heating or cooling) was decent. Check-in (after 11am) and check-out (by 11am) times are generous.

Bed mattress was a bit thin but not an issue for me, I slept well. Toilet facilities (all shared) a bit cramped but understand it's not a large building. Some toilet facilities were a bit worn out, but generally still functional. Rooms are narrow; might have some difficulty if you have a lot of luggage.

The location doesn't get better. A few minutes walk from Namba and Dotonbori, that are places full of activities but at the same time the street and the hostel is very chill. Rooms and beds are comfy, maybe depending on the time of the day you sleep you can hear some noise from outside but it feels like teleporting you into some futuristic Hollywood film with the sirens of the ambulance haha. So being there just go walk everywhere in 3km radius around the hostel and enjoy everything. Also if you're into partying don't forget to check Ghost and Balabushka that are literally 2 minutes away!

Great place to stay! Excellent location. Walking distance from Namba line ( Nara and Koyasan day trips). They had simply thought of everything to make you stay as comfortable as possible....I had a mirror, hangers, hooks, light, security box and socket. Large gap between wall and bed to store backpack or end of bed. Toiletries and tea /coffee available. Very comfortable bed.

I arrived early 6am via night bus (I don't recommend!) ...unable to check in when I arrived. Had buffet breakfast two doors down in hotel over looking canal (recommend) stayed there and chilled out until Hostel open. Left baggage at hostel until Check in time no problem and checked in early 1pm which was also great.

- Payment with cash only - Not good at wall-soundproof (can hear the next room's discussion at night) - Tower costs 100 Yen. - No provided toothbrush or toothpaste - Need a small closet in the room - Have 2 clothes hangers but I did not know where to hook them - I lived 4 days but no one cleaned the room.

The location is perfect: Right beside dotonbori and walking distance to Namba! Just for that it was the right choice! We had a small private room, fully air-conditioned, with good clean showers around the corner. The staff spoke very good English. Hygiene was perfect with daily cleaning.

We almost had no interaction with others in this hostel. No one was in the common space (besides one or two people cooking at one point). The beds were hard (thin mattress).

A cozy little hostel right at the Dotonbori river. Got everything you need. A nice common area, a washing machine and dryer, nice staff, even... AC's! Which is a blessing in the summer. Good if you're traveling alone or with a group as it accommodates both. I will come back!

The walls are a bit thin. And my one person room was right in the middle between two two person rooms shared by a group. Meaning it wasn't as quiet as I would've liked. Other than that, don't expect nothing too high class looking. Doesn't need it anyway, I think, but I heard other customers complain about it's "old" looks.

The beds were comfy and clean, the toilet was clean and the place was the most convenient ever, in the heart of Namba, close to everything. I went there for the nightlife so the location was super helpful. Check-in timing was pretty great too.

I can't really find any particular fault about the place, I am pretty satisfied with the conditions and the price was just right for it.
