A lot of amenities and free stuffs. The bathroom is huge with a lot of products and appliances which is really nice. Free drinks and some food in the lobby. Staff are nice, great location with good restaurants nearby and Dotombori 5/10min by foot. Karaoke room available

Not much space for the luggage. I’m not a fan of leaving the key when going out of the hotel everyday but the process doesn’t take long. The AC is at the foot of the bed so it’s not very enjoyable to get the cold air straight on my face. Room is small so there’s not enough space between the AC and bed

There were tons of amenities available in the lobby. The location was GREAT, we walked most everywhere we needed to go in Osaka, and if we couldn't walk there was a subway within a 4 minute walk.

NOTE: This is a love hotel. It wasn't noted anywhere I could see when I booked on Booking.com If you do not know what that is, look it up. We had no issues with this. But, if I was traveling with children, I would want to be informed of this ahead of time. Having to leave the key with the front desk was kind of annoying at times.

My husband and I spent a few nights at Bali An while we explored Osaka. It is just off one of the main roads, and it's very quiet inside — you can't tell you're steps from Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Our bathroom and bedroom were lovely, and the complimentary toiletries selection is very comprehensive. We also thoroughly enjoyed the coffee bar and rooftop lounge, the complimentary curry, ice cream and mix-your-own-cocktail bar. Bonus: My birthday passed shortly before our arrival, and Bali An delivered birthday honey toast as a gift! It was HUGE (see photo with hand for scale) 🥰 We had a lovely time, and we hope to visit again soon.

The incense smell is too heavy in common areas like the lobby. Also, I use a cane and there were a lot of awkward elevated steps in and out of the hotel room.

The location is excellent and there are so many great extras like the free drinks incl alcohol, milk tea with tapioca, curry, icecream, massage machines. The jet bath is great for relaxing after a long day walking, especially with a range of bath salts to choose from. I also liked having a hair straightener as well as a dryer. The bed was super comfy and the rooms are soundproofed. There are lots of staff to help out with any questions.

I didn't like the lingering smell of smoke as most rooms are smoking rooms and this may not be clear when booking. The cleanliness of the rooms is also not the best in terms of dust collecting on shelves and furniture. These two things are the only faults but could be a deal breaker for some.

Absolutely a fantastic location in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Osaka. Also close enough to Namba station to walk from and to there with suitcases if needed. It is a themed hotel which is quite quirky but also quite funny. Also many free amenities at reception level which go beyond the obvious (free curry, popcorn, ice cream, drinks, and everything you can imagine needing in the bathroom.

I do not really enjoy having to leave the key behind and constantly going to reception to get in and out of the hotel. Other than that nothing (and while I did not enjoy it, it is quite easy to do ofcourse).

We hesitated to book this hotel as it seemed a bit odd and tropical themed. However, we LOVED it. The location is fantastic. It is in the very cool and vintage shopping area of America Mura, a few minutes to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi Suji. Everything is right there. However, you won’t want to leave the brilliant lobby. The open bar, popcorn machine, ice cream freezer, curry and dozens of baskets of toiletry samples was insane. Then there was the karaoke room and massage chairs………..

Nothing, it was great!

I wasn’t ready for how awesome this stay was going to be. I had a frickin movie projector in my room with my massage chair and a tv in the bath with jets in it.. absolutely awesome.. even the toilet seat goes up by itself.. I was really in the future.. breakfast buffet was great too.. 100% awesome stay will be back

Finding the location from the train station was a 3 hr journey.. it’s my fault but I was lost for 3 hrs trying to go 200m.. the hotel stay well then made up for it.

Clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. Close to Osaka Namba Station and Namba Station. So you can Easily ride on the main Osaka subway/train lines for Osaka travel. Great location to see around Dotonbori-Shinsai-Bashi. Almost everything you need for a stay are in the room. I thought, 'Wow, there's even this.' The room structure was also very convenient (although it was awkward that the step difference was a little high in the room), and many amenities were placed in the lobby, making it easy to use as much as you need. There are free self-snekbar and drinkbar in the lobby. Room cleaning is charged, but basic things such as replenishing amenities and replacing towels are free of charge.

If you go out of the hotel even for a short time, you have to leave your key at the front desk. There was no problem because the staff is always there 24 hours a day, but you have to leave the key even if you go to the convenience store for a while. Personally, it was a little uncomfortable. There was nothing else.

This was a fun stay! We had a tour guide last year tell us about theme love hotels in Japan being an excellent value due to all the extra amenities and we were so pleased. All the extra spa products, food, massage chair, and beverages encouraged us to relax more on vacation. We saved money staying here and loved the Bali vacation theme. The staff was helpful and friendly and used a translation app when necessary. We will definitely stay here again!!

loved everything about this hotel from the amenities and the complimentary food and drinks in the lobby to the staff attention to detail . the rooms at this place are huge comparing the location.perfevg for couples and if you want to relax. will definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back. other Bali An locations are similar but this one stood out.
