The service was exceptional! The staff are very friendly and although they are not able to fully understand and converse in English well (yet!), you'd be assured and see that they are trying their best and making sure they provide you the best customer service. The location was near Dotonbori and all the happenings (but still in the quiet and less chaotic) so you can shop and eat 'til you drop and repeat anytime! The breakfast is also superb! They also have luggage transfer service available in case you need it!
The mattress and bed somewhat contributed to my back pains - but I think this is something that can be easily remedied. I stayed in APA Keisei Ueno Ekimae in Tokyo and the bed was great so hopefully they'll also use that same bed and mattress here.

I liked the breakfast buffet and the variety they had between breads, croissants, egg, bacon, etc. The staff serving the breakfast was nice. Since there were only 2 persons cooking and restocking the food, it did take some time until we could all sit and eat so my advice to the hotel is to have more people helping in the kitchen 👍🏼. The location was great since we wanted to be close to Dotombori street. The price was a bit much but I understand that the place is a touristic one and it’s always going to be pricier than other areas. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable although there wasn’t much space in the room to move around. The hotel is more for a place to just come take a shower and sleep but not to be able to sit and relax in your room since there was only a bed and a desk with a chair that were in a distance of 2 feet apart from each other. All in all it was great for 1 night and it served our purpose.
Not enough space in the room. Breakfast service was a bit slow. Had to pay parking separately even though we parked at the hotel.

It was a very comfortable stay. The location is great, it is just a stone throw away from the food haven, dotonbori. Also convenient as it is just 3-5min walk to the nearest train station. The breakfast option is neat and quality. I love the curry and the mackerel. I just hope there will be variation for breakfast. I stayed for 5 days and it gets tiring. When you stay here in winter/autumn, they have centralized heater so you will need to open your window if you want to make your room colder. I do not recommend if you get sweaty when sleeping. With the help of the window the room gets very comfortable.

I like that the room is clean and with all necessary toiletries, towels and hangers. The location is good. I will choose to stay at APA again for my next trip to Japan.
I didn't quite like the female staff at the front desk. The male front desk staff were good, but not the female ones. They were not very friendly and a bit rude. On one occasion, the two female staff at the front desk were discussing something, eventhough they saw me standing there waiting for them to attend to me, they continue discussing and let me wait. I had to wait for about 5min or longer. We thanked them politely but they just can't be bothered.

Like all the APA hotels I stayed in on my trip, this one perfectly met my expectations. The biggest benefit is the location, just one street away from the Dotonbori river and the popular Dotonbori district of the city, so you're only a few minutes' walk from many of the things people visit Osaka to do and see. There are dozens of restaurants and konbinis nearby, and you're not far from America-mura either. Also like all the other APA hotels, the room is compact but has basically everything you need, especially if like me you're really only using the place to shower and sleep, and aim to spend most of your time sightseeing.
For reference for anyone planning to drive to the hotel and park there: APA's parking entrance is on the adjacent street to the north of the hotel entrance; on Google street view, if you're scrolling to the east, you'll spot a small orange APA sign. This information would be handy to include in the booking confirmation; I had no idea when I arrived and had to park elsewhere and walk to the hotel in heavy rain...

The location was good a few blocks away from the very busy tourist spots. The hotel.was neat and tidy and had everything you needed. Vending machine in lobby, washer and dryer for clothing. ice machine. money exchange machine. They thought of everything. Breakfast not included and charged extra. luggage storage and self service checkin. Namba station is the closest, but we always chose to use Nagahoribashi station. not too busy, lots of lovely shopping and eating options.
I was surprised by the very tiny room. no space for anything, but I guess it's to be expected. The shower were quite tricky, The tap kept switching off or to a very lower pressure. Terrible when it happens while washing your hair, with soap all over you.

Location was excellent, just off dontonburi, many restaurants, shops and Convenience stores around. Five mins walk to Namba station. Hotel is quiet despite being in the heart of the action. 10 mins walk to the Kuromon market. It was great value for money right in the dotonburi area which really lights up at night and buzzes with street vendors, yet it is very quiet. I only paid AUD207 for 2 nights. The hotel room is compact but it is clean and comfy and you're out all day anyway! Perfect for solo travelers or couples. Budget friendly
The only thing I didn't like was the pillow, it was flat and quite hard. The shower pressure also kept going down by itself.

Unfortunately our room was super tiny and the bed was completly closed in by the wall, I had to roll over my wife to get out of bed! It was not well set up Breakfast once again mostly traditional only some little crossants, juice and tea!! Many cafes around to get breakfast. There are a few hotels of this chain in the area, make sure you go to the right one! It was a good location, once again close to transport and easy walk.
Just the bedding configuration. It was a pain. Would not book breakfast again.

Very close to main strip of Dotonbori, on the left side when exiting hotel at end of street. When exiting hotel, left side (1 min walk) is family mart and 7/11 (1 min walk) is on the right when you exit the hotel. Namba station is about 5-10min walk depending on which entrance/exit of the station you take. Hotel room is small which isn’t unusual for japan but not as small as some hotels we stayed in during our time in tokyo. Room fit Two big suitcases, 2 small carry on luggage and a compressed stroller all under the bed which helped! Aircon is very strong in the room which is great as room gets stuffy but then gets too cold quickly lol (not a big issue). Room fit the three of us (husband and 1 year old), bub slept well at night, shower pressure and temp was good! Great Amenities, hair ties, cotton buds, plastic brush, tooth brush/paste, etc.
The laundry isn’t really family friendly, the laundry detergent we were told automatically dispenses when you put a washing load on (machine only takes 100 yen coins ONLY), you can get notes exchanged for yens at reception. Our clothes didn’t seem like it was washed with anything as it came out still dirty and no scent, the dryer took 2 hours and our clothes still weren’t dry, apparently there’s a laundro mat near by but we didn’t want to waste another $20 (aud conversion). Laundro mat in hotel would more likely suit people with light loads to wash/dry - if using the washing machine best to have a small load! dryer worked best when least amount of clothes were put in - better to use local landro mat for family washing :)

The hotel in the heart of action. Minutes away walking from best bars and clubs. Also, what is VERY rare in Japan. Sound isolation, you could barely hear anything. The private bathroom is small but very well made, really good showers, easy to regulate water temperature. Good internet. Really good option if you need some thicker walls because you don't want your neighbours to hear you discussing business (if you know what I mean) ;) The room was small but the bed was high so a proper suitcase fits underneath, saving space.
The carpet was maybe a bit worn out. And you should be aware that the room is quite tiny. It didn't bother me but maybe for someone it will be an issue.
