This hotel is really just fantastic. So clean, elegant and well designed in the room, which was a lot more spatious than you would expect for central Osaka. Blackout blinds were great for getting over jetlag, bed was comfortable, bathroom was sparkling. The downstairs area was also great ... free coffee machine, a microwave to eat stuff you might get from the convenience store and a comfortable place in the restaurant to sit and eat, work, or meet. Check in and check-out were fast and easy, and we stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip so were able to store our luggage for free. The staff was always extremely hospitable, professional and helpful, and there was every sort of amenity you might need (and never knew you did ... pajamas?? an automatic massage pillow?? ) Finally, the neighborhood was just right ... it was very quiet and peaceful at night, close to the park/river, with some surprisingly good restaurants around. Also Umeda was just one stop away on the subway but none of the hectic-ness from that area. Couldn't recommend this place more.

I recently stayed at Hotel Forza Kitahama and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is very clean and has a sleek, modern vibe, which made for a comfortable stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly staff ensuring a hassle-free process. One of the hotel’s convenient features was the laundromat, which worked perfectly and made longer stays more manageable. Additionally, the location is excellent, with easy access to nearby cafés for breakfast and other dining options. Really enjoyed the matcha latte from the lobby as well.

The room, while well-maintained and stylish, felt a bit tight for a triple bed setup, so it may be more suitable for solo travelers or couples.

The perfect stay in Osaka! Super convenient location with a few minutes walk to two very central metro lines. It only took us 20 mins to Shin-Osaka, from where we traveled to other destinations and had day trips. It seems like a super quiet neighborhood at first, but we found wonderful eateries and coffees hidden around. The room is spacious and well equipped, comfy beds and all around good amenities. We slept very well there after the long days in the city. It was convenient to have the water and coffee machines on the first floor, and also the great selection of teas. The staff were always kind and super helpful, they helped us send our luggage to the next destination swiftly. Totally worth the pay!

There was usually a long line waiting for the elevators. I assume the hotel was quite packed, although it wasn't peak season! Be prepared to wait a bit on your journey to your room / breakfast / laundry.

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights, so I got a pretty solid feel for it. The room’s a bit more spacious than your typical Japanese hotel, which was a nice surprise. Facilities are great, with free toiletries and thoughtful touches. The bed and pillows were super comfy—and bonus points for the massage pillow, which my wife loved after long days of walking. Breakfast was solid too, with a good mix of Japanese, Asian, and Western options. They rotate the menu daily and loop back after about five days. Overall, a really pleasant stay.

My only comment is about the laundry access. I was on the 3rd floor and the self-service laundry is on the 2nd. It’s easy to use, but they only have two washers and two dryers, so you often have to wait your turn. What made it more inconvenient is that the stairs were locked. It’s just one floor down, but I had to take the elevator every time—which felt a bit awkward and unnecessary. The elevator’s also a bit slow since it has only two doors and serves 16 floors. I really wish they’d open the stairs for short trips like that. It would’ve made a big difference.

The hotel is great! Even when the location is nice and quiet the hotel isn’t too far from any hotspots in the city. The buffet breakfast was perfect, the food not only tasted great but it had a much needed variety for a long week stay. They had bacon every other day! The hotel’s soundproofing is absolutely commendable, we didn’t hear any of the other guests shuffling about the floor from our room. They also offer a 2pm check in time, only an hour earlier than usual but appreciated nonetheless.

The sink drains way too slowly, and a lot of other reviews mention it too.

Room was big enough to fully open a luggage, making it easy to unpack and pack. Bed was large and comfortable with 2 pillows with different firmness. Bathroom felt very clean and the shower had different modes of operation, as well as a bathtub. The room also included a massager, great for relaxing at the end of a day. Location was really good as well with a Lawsons just beside the hotel for late night snacks. Hotel is conveniently located near several train lines, namely Midosuji, Sakaisuji if you're traveling within Osaka, or the Keihan Main Line if you're traveling to/from Kyoto.

Only small issue I had was that the Wi Fi was a bit spotty at times, which is mainly ok unless you require a strong and stable internet connection for doing work -- watching videos on YouTube or Netflix was mainly fine with the seldom buffering.

The location was great. It's very close to Kitahama on the Sakaisuji line and Yodoyabashi on the Midosuji line of the Osaka Metro, allowing options to travel through the town of Osaka. Some restaurants and convenience stores are also nearby for food needs.

As with typical hotel in its class, the room can be a bit small. However, this was expected and remains a good value for the money.

I loved the room. It was smaller (as expected for Osaka) but the layout was excellent and made it very comfortable. The little sofa was a great addition and made it much more comfortable to come back and relax on. The hanging space and storage shelves were also really useful and helped us not have to live put of our suitcase for the week we stayed. I, personally, loved the massage cushion. It was really relaxing to have after being out all day. I also really liked the shower products and found the bath comfortable to use. It wasn't part of the room, but I really enjoyed the coffee machine in the reception area and the variety of teas that were available.

It was a really wonderful stay, the bed and pillows were on the firmer side, which is not to my preference. They were comfortable enough, though.

Room was a great size for my family of 3. (Two large beds pushed together (our child is 7)). The clothes sanitizer/cleaner machine in the room was brilliant and really useful. The shower was amazing (my husband is now set on installing a shower and toilet at home like the ones in our hotel room). Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. Lawsons next door was extremely convenient especially when coming in late to grab a meal. Station (Kitahama) was a 4 minute walk away which we used to set out for Dotonbori and Kyoto. Taxi stand was in front of the station. Staff were always polite and friendly. We will DEFINITELY stay here again. Loved it!

Loved everything!

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I appreciated how responsive they were—for example, I requested an iron, and it was brought to my room quickly. The room itself was very comfortable and made for a pleasant stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would consider staying here again, especially because of the service and convenience of the location.

However, one downside was that the bathroom occasionally had a strange odor, which was a bit unpleasant. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something the management might want to look into.
