We stayed in the premium twin room and we really enjoyed our 5 night stay based on the room size, amenities, and comfort. The view from the 29th floor was excellent and the bathroom was very spacious.. The location was great alos as you can access the hotel from the subway. (Remeber exit 8)

The over crowding at breakfast. The crowded check in experience.

Hotel property was very well maintained and clean. Convenient location that is directly above and connected to the Shinbashi Station. Location is away from the noise and crowds and only 10 minutes walk to Namba and the Dotonbori. The hotel room was very spacious with enough room to layout 3 large suitcases. The two twin beds were comfortable and had the option to push them together. The water pressure in the showers was very good. We appreciated all the complimentary amenities such as the skin care and hair products, and the two complimentary bottles of water we received in our room each day. The Concierge service in the lobby was very helpful and efficient in assisting us with recommendations and providing directions to our excursions.

The pillows were too soft with very little to no neck support. Some hotels offer different pillow options for levels of firmness for their guests but we weren’t aware of any at the Nikko hotel. We would have appreciated more electrical outlets in the room as it was a little inconvenient to get ready in the mornings. We would have also appreciated that the amount of towels that are removed from the room be replenished with the same amount of towels during housekeeping as the hotel was aware there were 3 people staying in the room however we kept receiving only 2 sets of towels.

The location, facilities and staff are top notch. It is located at the center most affluent shopping districts. The metro station is right under the hotel, and few minutes you can walk to Shinsaibashi (shopping district) then Dotonbori. And 7 eleven is nearby. Shuttle bus service is available from the hotel to the airport (additional fee).

The best part of this hotel is the Customer Service! Right from the check in and all the way to checking out, all the staff were very friendly and absolutely helpful- there was one doorman wearing a grey and red outfit ( wished we'd asked his name) he even escorted us all the way to the entrance of the subway to show us and explained the way and he spoke perfect English. The Concierge ( sorry I forgot your name!) I had trouble booking a head spa appointment online and she went above and beyond, even accompanying me to the salon to speak on my behalf and assist- like who does that!? Upon our check out, my partner was feeling unwell and I asked if there is an area where he can stay to sit and she offered back our room so he can rest a bit longer! We are 100% in awe at the amazing service we received at Hotel Nikko Osaka, and we are extremely grateful. We will definitely come back and stay next time We have travelled to Japan several times since 2018, stayed at plenty of hotels, and we usually get a polite, if somewhat impersonal service, so this stands out the most The hotel is located at Shinsaibashi, Osaka which also has direct access to the subway and is walking distance to Namba Dotonbori. Hotel Nikko has many restaurants and some high end shops within the hotel complex and is right in front of shopping malls Parco and Daimaru ( by the way has amazing restaurants on B2 and absolutely fresh sushi which is also cheap) and open until 10pm

The fact that we had to go home back to Sydney😔

Location of the hotel is exceptional. It’s situated in the middle of everything that first time Japan visitors like us would like to see and experience. We found the small stores very fascinating and the food very sumptuous and excellent in Doton bori.

My wife was disappointed that the Hotel Nikko did not have the “ Onsen Spa ”like what she enjoyed nightly at the other two hotels we stayed in Tokyo & Kyoto. Furthermore, the hotel could use a good size customer lounge that served unlimited coffee with tables and electric suckets to be able to recharge laptops & phones.

The best part about the hotel is the location! Right in the middle of everything. The room is also very spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Love that there is enough bed for all of us. The bathroom was great, love all the toiletries provided.

I feel like the staff at the reception could be more friendly and smile more.

The B2 level was directly connected to the subway station. The concierge was very capable and helped me book an airport transfer for our last day. The hotel is near the Shinsaibashi suji shopping area and a few minutes walk to the Glico Man area. Lots of free amenities in the bathroom and attentive staff. Overall it was a pleasant stay. :)

The pillows were a bit stiff, but nothing major.

1. Available to access directly from Shinsaibashi Station Exit 8 via elevator or escalator without going outdoors 2. Friendly and helpful front-desk staff 3. Very clean room, even the carpet and the bathroom 4. Clean and pleasant air in the room 5. Bright yet comfortable lighting in the room and bathroom 6. Near Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, making it perfect for enjoying late-night food and drugstore shopping

1. There is no free water dispenser in the hotel, but each guest receives one complimentary bottle of water per day 2. The soundproofing was a bit poor, and occasionally I could hear the footsteps of guests upstairs

Bonus: train station in Hotel "basement" can't get any closer than that! Very clean. 1 crosswalk away from tons of shopping and food. Spacious bathroom and room overall with bonus couch! Convenient airport shuttle.

Check in process is very strict. 3pm exactly (which i understand with Hotels) however, most places will let you check in a little early if your room is ready. We tried to check in at most 40minutes early and was denied. What bothered me about that is during those 40 minutes the entire front desk staff stood behind the counter and watched us wait. 1 or 2 of them maybe helped 5 or 6 "club members" but literally stood there the rest of the time (6 staff behind the desk) only to be bombarded at 3pm because the entire lobby was waiting to check in. This hotel was definitely upscale from the 2 others we stayed at during our vacation. Minor dislike, pros do outweigh cons.

Location was perfect. It is technically above the train station, so we did not have to brave the cold and rain to get back to the hotel after a long day out. It is also right opposite Shinsaibashi shopping street (also connected underground) and 10 minutes walk to Dotonburi, which is really convenient. Our room had a mini couch that fits two and a small coffee table to have quick midnight snack at. Having 2 big luggages can still be a struggle though-but I think all hotel rooms in Japan are small. Hotel Nikko also provided new PJs and hotel slippers everyday(and some shampoo, body creams etc). Check in and out was a smooth process too.

I wish there was coin operated washer and dryer within the hotel building. There was laundry services, but obviously at a bit of a cost.
