The receptionists were very helpful despite the language barrier. The facilities were clean, and comfortable. I was well rested and ready for my connecting flight. The airport shuttle bus made it very easy to travel from T3 to T1 where the hotel is located.

I arrived in HND T3 in the evening. I didn't know restaurants were closed in T1. Had I known that, I would've stayed in T3 for dinner, then head to T1 for my night stay at First Cabin. Thankfully, they had vending machines with cup noodles and snacks, so I did not starve. I was not familiar with Japanese bathroom etiquette, instructions/translations were not very clear: Wear the provided slippers. Make sure to take them off when entering the bath area. When entering the toilet room, take off provided slippers and switch to available bathroom slippers.) Most signs and instructions were in Japanese with minimal English translations. That being said, I was still able to figure out how to conduct myself within the women's quarters.

This place was very conveniently located. I was traveling with my 70 year old mother, my 18 year old son, 21 year old daughter, my husband and myself. We had to overnight in Tokyo before flying back to the States, this place was just what we needed. After a long family trip, we all enjoyed our our capsules. The hotel provided everything we needed, including pajamas and toothbrushes. There’s a vending machine with snacks, ice cream, coffee, and white wine. The bathroom is large and includes a private seeming toilet room, a makeup/sink room, a shower room, and a hot bath room.

Even though I slept pretty well, the beds are very hard. I like a hard bed, but the springs that seem to poke out are uncomfortable.

Convenient stay in Haneda! Staff were kind and helpful. Good selection of toiletries available and it was easy to make the room dark/quiet. Although there was very little space around the bed there were hangers available for my jacket and some table space for my phone/hand luggage.

Bed was a little hard, and the shower didn't have any private space connecting to it to change (I had to bring my towel into the shower and hope it stayed dry). I also noted via Booking that I was arriving at 1am but it wasn't made clear to me how I'd be able to arrive (as T1 closes at midnight, I didn't know this when I booked) - I had to search for this information on their website separately.

location was great as we were leaving Japan the very next day and that is why we chose to stay at First Cabin.

The airport was closed when we arrived around 11p, and we had to get a police officer to let us in so we could check into the hotel. First Cabin should provide instructions of which entrance to come to and how to get to the hotel if coming after airport hours The mattress was extremely hard, after a long trip it felt like I was sleeping on the floor.

Great hotel in the airport if you need to stay the night.. quiet and calm. Just what you need before or after a long flight.

First Cabin was very easy to find -- large signs in the airport corridor. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The washrooms and sleeping area were very clean and attractive. The lobby/lounge area had Wi-Fi, several vending machines with snacks and drinks, and both couches and tables and chairs. The front desk offered toothbrush kits and washcloths in addition to the towels that were on the bed. NOTE: You cannot secure your luggage if you need to leave the area. Since I was there for two nights, I left my big stuff in a baggage storage facility in another terminal of this airport and took the free bus to get to First Cabin.

The sleeping cubicles cannot be made completely dark; I wish I had brought a sleep mask or that they had offered one along with the toothbrush. Check-in was after 7 pm, but I arrived at noon. It would have been nice to check in earlier.

It was a capsule hotel but you were not stacked on top of each other like many capsule hotels advertise. You have your own little bungalow space with a lock box inside the room. I also liked that the bathrooms had all the amenities available, including hair dryers, q-tips, and mini care kits.

One main issue we had was navigating to the terminal. As international travelers, we wanted to stay here for convenience and experience the capsule hotel. But because we arrived after the Terminals closed, the bus was an obstacle, as it didn't come as frequently and bothered us about the Terminals being closed. I didn't like that you can't lock the shutter to your room. You just have to trust that other foreigners won't throw open your door by accident, or anyone malicious might come try and steal your stuff when you're away. Needs more private showers. I liked that they had them available, but I was afraid in the morning, the bathrooms might be busy, so I woke up extra early to shower in the private stall.

Super convenient right in the airport for a late flight arrival before heading off to Kyoto by train the next day. Saved a lot of time avoiding unnecessary transfer to a hotel. Staff were very helpful, the facility was spotless, nice public bathrooms with hairdryers and various soaps/lotions provided, individual showers available and even an onsen for a soak. You can get free PJs to save unpacking anything. Granted you have to split up to use the respective male and female pod areas, but not a drama. It was ideal for our purposes and meant we could launch straight into the train system at the airport for onward travel.

A little expensive for a capsule hotel (it cost more than an airport hotel room would’ve done) but very convenient - and this IS Tokyo!! Bring a good quality eye mask to cut out ambient light. Apart from that, it was pretty quiet.

It was nice to find there an Onsen.

I think it should not be too complicated to have a very simple lock in the cabins that can be opened even with the same card. Like this, it was a bit uncomfortable. This is a cabin hotel, so there is a lot of activity and there is a certain amount of noise. The real problem I see is that you are not allowed to use an alarm clock there, which is understandable on the one hand. However, if you have a flight at 6.30 am and you need to get up at 4 am, it is difficult to find sleep. A simple alarm clock that automatically changes the light levels in the cabin and a programmed time might be enough to avoid this. This is really missing. It is also difficult to find an open restaurant in Haneda from 7.30 pm on.

The hotel is inside terminal 1 Haneda airport. It is very convenient if you have an early flight. The staff is very nice and helpful, the check in procedure was fast and easy. There is a 24h service desk available. Common areas (shower, toilet, bath) were clean and the cabin was fine. The bed was comfortable. For a one night stay I think it is perfect, just keep in mind that you will hear every noise coming from the surrounding cabins. For me not a big problem because I was not expecting to sleep that much but just laying on a bed.

Had to pay for an extra towel, this is the only thing I didn’t like that much.
