Fantastic location, right in front of Ueno Park, literally a 10 second walk across the street from the entrance. Only a 20 minute walk straight down to get to Akiba, 5 Minute walk over to the JR Ueno Station. Rooms were quite large and very comfortable with a wonderful washroom and a nice little kitchen. Staff understood and spoke good English making for easy communication for foreigners.

Central location (close to shopping, train, restaurants), very clean, perfect amount of space and 4 beds for our family of 4. Able to cook meals with the kitchenette. Free coffee in the morning down in the breakfast area.

The room needed a few more kitchen utensils to make cooking easier. Also as long as you walk out the front door all is perfect - but walk out the back door and you see some nighttime entertainment options that are not suitable for children.

everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff was great and we really enjoyed the onsen. The views of Ueno park are incredible. Check out the sake dispenser and pasta vending machine!

Super family friendly. Spacious rooms, love that we had a dining table and kitchen. Bath was wonderful - love that it was deep. Great view over Ueno Park. Wonderful location - walking distance from shopping district and transport. Lots of food options. Area isn't too busy, which we appreciated. The laundrette is a great amenity and so affordable.

The corridors were connected to the outdoors so it was far too cold in winter. The cold meant turning the heating unit on, but it made the air too dry, which caused eczema issues for my family, especially the baby. I'd have rented a humidifier if there was one available (there was a dehumidifier supplied though). If you're staying with a family of four, it's good value for money, but if you stay there for many nights, the cost adds up to a high figure for the bigger room with more space; that said, I think it was worth the money to have space with our baby.

Very spacious room overlooking Ueno Park with several seating areas. Perfect for our family of 4 for a week-long stay. Highly convenient location with multiple subway/train stations nearby, convenience stores/restaurants in every direction, shopping areas just minutes away by walking. Unit had its own laundry machine. Kitchen area had everything we needed. Front desk staff was always helpful. We chose the hotel specifically because it was across from Ueno Park so we were able to pop in anytime day or night to enjoy the cherry blossoms during its week of blooming! This hotel is relatively new so everything was modern in terms of convenience and style. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Loved the location on Ueno park- a perfect place to land in Tokyo get over jet lagg and get our bearings on the city. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. Helped us with luggage forwarding, etc.. Breakfast Bento boxes were delicious and extremely helpful as many things do not open early and we wanted to get an early start on the day. Must be reserved in advance. Top floor, soaking area divided for women and men was fantastic always quiet and clean , and gorgeous views. Family deluxe room well worth the upgrade and requested a view of the park which we were granted. Stunning view. Rooms very well appointed clean modern and comfortable. Easy walk to public transportation hubs. Ueno Park a wonderful way to spend the first day or two acclimating riding the swan boats eating the delicious street food visiting the temple and walking through the park. Could not have been a better place for our first nights in Japan.

Loved the space and cleanliness for our family of four. The beds were large and comfy. We liked the location in the Ueno area which allows you to explore the historic Yanesen neighbourhoods, Asakusa shrines, Ueno park, Ameyoko street. And is close to Tsukiji fish markets and Ginza.

Small inconvenience, but there is no where to hang clothes or towels in the dressing room area of the bathroom. When you go in to shower and change, you need to put your clean clothes on the floor. Towels got changed daily, which were great, but wet towels had to left on the floor of the bathroom until collected or shoved into bathroom shelf.

This is a decent hotel in an excellent location. The price is a little high, but the facilities are quite good. The room was very clean and we were overall very satisfied with our stay. My wife has asthma, and the staff were helpful in ensuring that the room had no strong scents.

It was sometimes difficult to communicate with the staff - in either English or Japanese. The breakfast is not worth the money. We prepaid and were quite disappointed. A side comment is that the hotel makes claims about environmental awareness, yet uses very large amounts of single use products - and in particular the breakfast consists of vast quantities of styrofoam and plastic.

Difficult to rate for location… awesome access to train and subway however is in an area where streets at the rear of the hotel are mostly lined with clubs - it should be noted this posed no issues at all, we found the intoxicated men around during the early morning as we set out for our day to be both amusing and friendly, we just would have preferred shopping and restaurants. Still within easy walking distance to these. Location to the park is awesome we had a superb view across the lake with cherry blossom trees in bloom. Hotel itself was very good, spacious and clean. No ‘western’ breakfast available but close to several convenience stores as an alternative. Highly recommend for family stay with teenagers. Overall really enjoyed our stay here.

A new hotel in a great location across from Ueno Park. Close to Ueno rail station and Keisei Skyliner train direct to/from Narita Airport. Friendly and helpful staff with good English skills. Excellent onsen on the 14th floor with fabulous views over the park. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows after so many ‘firm’ beds over the last month. Close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Room is on the smaller side compared to the others we’ve had in Japan. Cafe in foyer.

Unfortunately, our room's noise insulation was not the best, could hear other noisy guests at times.
