We stayed at Villa Fontaine at Haneda Airport for a night before flying hoe to the UK. We reserved 2 Premier Rooms for 4 people, and they were well appointed with large bathroom and a free minibar, which was a nice touch. We were given 4 x 2 for 1 drink vouchers at the hotel bar and happily used those, and also a pack of origami papers. Another nice touch. I also booked (separately) a massage at the SPA which was excellent! We didn't use the Onsen. We liked the convenience of being so close to Terminal 3, so we had a short 10 minute walk to the check-in for our early morning flight the next day. Highly recommended.

Unbeatable location, with many shops and restaurants inside Haneda Airport Garden within 2 minutes walk. The room had great sound insulation, as we didn't hear anything from outside or neighbors. The view from our room was amazing. The staff was very friendly. Our room was spacious. They offered many welcome drinks in the fridge.

The area where one would make tea and coffee was really tiny, as the coffee machine was not the most compact model. Coin laundry room was behind the Villa Fontaine Grand lobby, which was slightly inconvenient since there was a lot of traffic in that area, but I am not complaining.

The location is great for my needs. I like to relax for a couple of days before going overseas and this hotel is ideal for that purpose when using Haneda. There are actually several very nice restaurants just outside the hotel in addition to the usual not-so-appealing typical airport restaurants. The nice ones are pricy but not excessively so given they're at the airport, are convenient and the food is top quality. Even though I only need the room for a few hours, I book it for the entire night so I can relax and shower before the flight. I can check out an hour before my flight that late and avoid the terminal as long as possible. It's worth the extra cost for me because the airport lounges are usually overflowing with customers and getting a shower room in the lounge is usually next to impossible. The onsen is open to anyone for a fee and is a great place to spend a few hours if transiting or if your flight arrives in the wee hours of the morning and you have to wait for the trains to begin running. There's also a 24-hour restaurant inside the onsen.

I wish they had a plan for staying a partial or half day. I typically fly out late in the evening, sometimes at one in the morning. I book a room for the night even though I check out late in the evening without staying overnight. It's worth it for me but an option for a late, late check out or partial day stay would be nice but it's understandable why that might not be feasible for this hotel. The onsen is becoming overrun by tourists who are clueless about Japanese onsen etiquette, although that's really not the hotel's responsibility.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. I was surprised it could feel so relaxing being an airport hotel. Super convenient and excellent rooms, food and service. The spa body scrub is amazing they really scrub you to an inch of your life! You feel clean and refreshed after.

I disliked that the spa had kids running around and yelling. After traveling you want to relax. But the kids were Japanese so they were better behaved but still a surprise in a hot water spa to have kids at 9pm. It was also starting to get more crowded after 9 pm with many people coming in maybe again a Japanese thing ….

We sprung for a Deluxe King room on what would be our last night in Japan before our flight home. This was a good call. The room was spacious by Japan standards and well appointed. The staff was incredibly friendly and competent and had the best English of any we met in our 2 week trip. Overall amenities were very good, with a comped drink at the lounge and included beverages in the room. The lower 2 floors have lots of shops for last minute gifts or supplies and restaurants of many types. The breakfast buffet was pretty good as well. And you can't ask for a more convenient location for Haneda airport. We'll definitely stay here again if we fly out of Haneda.

The staff at the Villa Fontaine Premier are very nice and super helpful. We asked many questions to them about onward transportation options; booking a taxi and the bullet train. They researched the itinerary for us and provided guidance on both booking via the JR App and also where to book in person. They are always very polite, friendly, and full of hospitality. We could really relax and enjoy our stay there. The quality of the breakfast provided exceeded our expectations, and the setting for breakfast was also lovely. Strongly recommend, especially after a long flight.

We stayed here for a layover night and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing calm atmosphere, the courtesy of the staff, and the comfort of the facilities. The hotel is directly connected to Haneda airport‘s terminal three as well as a beautiful shopping area called Haneda Airport Garden, which are all indoor facilities. Upon entering the hotel reception of Villa Fontaine Premier you leave the hustle and bustle of airport and mall behind you and enter a space of luxurious calm. Our room was of comfortable size, with a beautiful bathroom and beautiful views of the river. ( To mention that everything was sparkling and spotless almost feels like an insult to Japanese culture, therefore this is added for the ones that have never traveled to Japan.) The added benefit to the relaxation factor of the hotel is the rooftop Japanese Bath, where you can physically and mentally distress, laying in hot baths with a gorgeous view.

Was very considerate of guests toiletries and provided a lot for free. There was a shower and also a bath with shower feature! Nice view with the room, room service available and free use of onsen with deluxe suite. Had services like massage you could add on. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Allowed to use onsen and I have tattoos so really enjoyed that experience - open air one at night could see the stars and view of city. Good links to get anywhere central. Shops discounted because premier suite. Allowed to leave luggage before check in time. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were a very nice touch. I liked they had an iron and board available to use as my clothes had become squashed and wrinkled in suitcase.

For the price expected breakfast service too available but it is not included.

This is such a beautiful hotel - by far one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world that I've stayed, and definitely, the best airport hotel anywhere. Staff members are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are always spotless, and the restaurant and bar are beautifully appointed and serve wonderful food and drinks. Also, it's pretty amazing that on clear days, you can get a good view of Mt. Fuji from the lobby-level Italian restaurant (where breakfast is also served). Highly recommended.

Easy walk between the hotel and the terminal - convenient for both the limousine bus drop off and departures. Staff were incredibly helpful and efficient - In my fatigue after a very long day of travel, I accidentally went to check in at the Villa Fontaine Grand and they gently and politely advised me I needed to go across to the other hotel on the other side of the foyer, took my trolley and walked me across the foyer to the correct check in. They gave me all the information I needed on check in. They helped me get my trolley to the lift to go up to my room. There was a lovely Japanese confection on arrival. The onsen was clean and well organised. I had visited several onsens on my outbound journey - of the hotel ones this was the most impressive in terms of the variety of baths, sauna and steam rooms. The staff were careful to make sure I understood that you had to take all clothes off before admitting me (which is a good precaution for an airport hotel accommodating travellers on layovers who may not be prepared for this). The bed was absolutely heaven - firm mattress which was great for my back but somehow felt like I was sinking into a cloud. Crisp sheets, a light and warm duvet (feather or down?) and pillows that were just the right height and level of firmness. It was dark. No light coming in from outside and no annoying lights in the room overnight. I was easily able to control the thermostat to an ideal temperature for me to to sleep. It was quiet - even the air conditioning fan was not loud. The hotel was immaculate. I could not fault it. I had the best night's sleep in years.

There were children making a lot of noise, running and splashing in the onsen. Once their parent returned to supervise them they quietened down and it was fine. It would have been nice if the staff could have intervened a bit earlier to manage this. It was more money than I would normally spend for a hotel room but for the standard and convenience on a long journey from Melbourne to London, it was absolutely worth it.
