Location: close to public transport. Ueno area - shops, restaurants, park - in walking distance. Front desk staff very friendly & helpful. Tried their best to assist with the washer/dryer issues we had.

Cleaning could be improved. found snacks leftovers behind sofas mattresses. Very tight space left to move around and we did not have large size luggage. We were relying on the washer/dryer in the room to wash and dry cloths (family of 5 in a very hot & humid season...). Dryer had issues and could not dry our cloths. Staff tried to help but couldn't. Offered to use a machine in another vacant room. unfortunately we did not have the time for that.

The apartment was new and in great condition and very comfortable, can't fault anything really. Space felt bigger than the photos with places to store suitcases under the bed. Unlike some other apart hotels they have desk staff and can store luggage. The washing machine in the room was a great convenience. We had only planned to stay at the apartment 3 nights but were able to extend our stay as we were having a great time in Tokyo and forecast in our next destination was poor.

Not really a negative, but perhaps helpful to know. We choose to stay in Ueno because it's a bit quieter and closer to friends. If this is your first trip and you want to be closer to the main sights this may not be the right location for you. We took advantage of the small shopping malls 10-15 mins from the apartment, local playgrounds and enjoyed the very quiet streets away from the craziness of Chiyoda or Shibuya.

Room is a good fit 4 adults and is big by Japan standards with a window you can actually see a city view from (L9). Very clean and comfortable. Great location, a quiet neighbourhood with a 7 Eleven and a Pharmacy just around the corner and a good supermarket (PB FARM Satake) 10 mins walk. Lots of places to eat and shop near Ueno station. A few different train lines within about 10 mins easy walk of this apartment. Note for Ueno station and Keisei Skyliner train (Ueno to Narita airport terminals), allow 15 mins walk time if you have luggage. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They even allowed us to store our luggage on the day of departure so we could sightsee and come back and collect the bags and go. Much appreciated!

Nothing not to like.

Very large apartment with nice bathroom and large washing machine. We had a room with an optional bunk bed but did not need it. The room was big and even had a large dining table in the living room. Enjoyed having the room cleaned every couple days. Appreciate that we could store luggage at the front desk.

Not having a key takes some time getting used to. Ended up taking a photo of the info to refer to when trying to enter the hotel. The additional charge for a late check out ($44 for 2 hrs) was a bit of a shock.

The property is within walking distance to Ueno station and two other local train stations which was very convenient. Our apartment was pretty big by Japanese standards and had plenty of room for a family of six. It was cosy and comfortable. The small kitchen and washer/dryer were both very useful, loved the bathtub, and having Netflix and YouTube on television was a bonus.

They can only hold your luggage for three days even though we made reservations to return after a week of travelling to other cities. We had to make reservations elsewhere so that hotel could keep our bags until we returned to Tokyo.

Nice amenities, come w laundrey and a small kitchen. We didn't really cook, but we still find it handy to make an easy breakfast. Clean, new, and comfortable, a good size for Tokyo standard. Can accommodate for a family up to 4 people and very comfortable for a couple

The location is hidden in a residential area and takes about a 10-minute walk from the busy station/ shop area. They do have a few convenient store around. The location is a bit far if you carry big luggage from station, and need to do a little walk to find food or shops, if convenient is the top thing you are looking for.

The location was fantastic and in a quiet area of Ueno. About a 10 minute walk to either Okachimachi and Ueno Stations, or 3 minutes to the Odeo Subway which made it easy to get around. Close proximity to 7/11 and Lawsons. Room was very clean, shower was hot, convenient washing machine, and the best toaster ever.

The drying function on the washing machine was not great and there wasn't a 'room dryer' like other hotel bathrooms, took a lot longer to dry our clothes.

The location was close to a couple of minor stations and 10 mins to Ueno station and its surrounds. Ueno is a great place to stay close to with Ameyayokocho being a great attraction. Plenty of other teen friendly areas like Akihabara and Asakusa close by. The apartment is on a lovely quiet street but close to the main hub. I loved that there was a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. The mini kitchen was well decked out too.

The staff during our stay were very accommodating and can speak simple English well. It is a good location because of a quiet neighborhood, as well as nearby convenience stores. The room we booked fit all five of us and it was a great time. It took only a few minutes to Shin Okachimachi station which is connected to Oedo line and the Tsukuba Express. Walking to Ueno from the accommodation only took us about 11-13 minutes.

Nothing to complain.

The hotel is right next to the Ueno station, and walkable to the busy areas. It is very accessible to food and shopping areas.

Comparing to the last MONday Apart hotel that we stayed, this one doesn't have a good view and slightly pricier (which makes sense, as this location is closer to the busy area and next to a train station)
