Small hotel located within very walkable distance from ueno station - has all the basic amenities and room features. Room is appropriately sized as far as budget hotels go, but staff are very friendly even with limited English. General Japanese amenities contain: daily room cleaning (or request to not be disturbed), Dailey fresh body and face towel, bedrobe, slippers, bath wash/face scrubber towel, toothbrush, disposable razor, shoehorn, clothing deodorizer. Room has a small fridge, TV, and very quiet split AC. Bathroom very clean.

General 90s design - older yellow colored bathroom with older style bidet toilet with manual lever flush, but everything is kept very clean. Older styled carpet. The window has no view because it is glazed and presumably overlooks an alley.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is 2-3 min walk from Ueno station which is a great starting point to explore the city. It's in a quiet street. Has a laundry space with separate washing and drying machines.

The rooms are small, we couldn't lay down the baggages.

Hotel location is ideal in regards to sightseeing, shopping, dining out and the subway system. Keisei Ueno is very near so travel to Narita airport is easy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Room is a bit small but it had everything I needed. WiFi was a bit choppy!

The room was extremely small (standard for Tokyo) as a couple no good. Size ok for solo travellers. The bed and pillow uncomfortable.

Each guest must leave their room key with reception when ever you leave the building, this adds a security concern for me.

Location is near the train station and restaurants. Very accommodating staff. There’s a free unlimited coffee , water and microwave at the lobby.

The staff were very kind and understanding, despite me not speaking much Japanese at all. Their endless patience with my lack of ability to communicate was something I cannot thank them enough for.
