The location is superb, very closed to Ueno station, Ameyoko market. Have direct line from Narita airport to Ueno st.(using Keisei line). Has direct yamanote line. Take main exit from Ueno st, cross the road and go along the back alley of the buildings on the street, is the most convenient way (i think) to the hotel The room and bathroom are small (as it was expected in Tokyo), but clean with adequate facilities. They provided pajamas for sleeping. Coffe machine is availaible on second floor (receptionist area). There is also kettle available in the room (which is very important item for me, bcs i need to always drink warm water during winter). They clean the room everyday upon request.

I'm a moslem, so it's a bit hard for me to perform my prayer in the room because it's too small. Hardly any space left to do it. One more, it is nice if the staffs smile more often 😊 They are not rude, just not "cheerful" enough

Hotel Tosei Cocone Ueno it is a walking distance to the train station and access to a lot of places that you can eat, shop, etc. a 5-minute walk to the train station connecting to the whole train system-very Efficient. Even if you have luggage's, it wouldn't be a hardship. 2 train system 1 -Keisei to take you straight from Narita Airport. This is located very close to Ueno Park or maybe underneath the park. and the other is UENO station connecting to all the train lines (Ginza, Yamanote, etc.) This hotel is situated where it needs to be-very convenient. Walk across the street and you will be in Ueno Ameyoko Shopping street and Ueno Park. There's also a better money exchange in Ameyoko if you walk around. We enjoyed walking around and just get lost out there. It is when you don't expect anything that you will find the place interesting. Japanese people are by far very respectful. The staff were professional even though we have language barrier we all manage to understand each other. Some staff can talk basic English language while we use google translate and it was never a problem. All of them were very accommodating. WE also love that they do have washer and dryer. You can also see in the TV if the washer and dryer are in use or not. All staff are outstanding even the housekeeping staff are awesome! Our rooms were always cleaned and they provide fresh towels each time- with jammies in there and slippers. The bed is comfortable, and the AC unit is something you can adjust on your own. The hotel itself smells good. It was somehow home away from home.

The rooms were small, but this is very typical for Japan. Don't expect the hotels to be as big as we have here in the US. They make use of all their space. It was enough for us to put in our luggage.

The location was about a 3-minute walk to the Ueno train station/Keisei Skyliner. A few minutes from a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and the room was clean.

A bit on the smaller size but understandable. I'd pick 2 twin-size 2 full-size for better spacing. There were only 3 washers/dryers. And it takes additional time to dry which costs more money about 100 yen for an additional 30 minutes. A medium load took 2 hrs to wash and fully dry.

Our favorite stay in Japan! Loved the coffee bar we could use each morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quieter hotel which we loved. Steps away from Ueno station and lots of food and drink options. We loved the location.

Charging outlets were few and far between, none in the bathroom at all. Air conditioner was pre-programmed to whatever the staff had set it to and could not be changed. Very tiny room but that’s to be expected in Japan!

Everything was thoughtfully & generously provided from clean towels & bedding each day, to water, coffee, tea & snacks - along with nice little extras for the weary traveller such as toothbrush, flannel, cotton buds, razors. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly & welcoming staff. Would highly recommend & would certainly return, should circumstances ever permit😊

The restaurant franchise seemed to cater more for the US clientele. Not a problem particularly, if you like that sort of food…we didn’t, but there was so much variety of food available on the doorstep, it did nothing to detract from the pleasure of our stay

The location was excellent, but the room was still quiet and we had no issues sleeping at night, despite there being a bustling nightlife area a few minute walk away. The front desk staff were helpful and we really liked the free robes, pillows, and coffee that was available for guests.

The room was clean for the most part, although we lost something in the room and while searching under the bed saw that it was kind of dusty and dirty in less noticeable areas. It wasn't something anyone else we were traveling with noticed however.

5 minutes walk from both Ueno station and the Ameyoko shopping precinct. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was raining when I arrived and the front desk staff gave me a towel to dry myself. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Typically small Tokyo hotel room, but the single bed was bigger than I expected and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Great value for money.

took the Keisei Skyliner train from Narita airport to Keisei Ueno station. Hotel is 5minute walk from Keisei Ueno station, JR Ueno station, Ueno metro station & Ueno Park. Very convenient location. Lots eateries nearby, some even open 24 hours. Room is small but good enough for two persons. Clean towels & bottled water provided everyday. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate at lobby. Washing machine & dryer are available. Helpful staff. Good service.

It was a good location, close to the Ueno station. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of outlets in the room. The room was really clean. I liked that the shower controls were the same as the sink controls, which was something I had never seen before. Oh, I also liked that they gave us extra towels and water bottles each day.

The room was obviously on the small side, but you get what you pay for. The bathroom was also super small but to be expected. Honestly, nothing else was bad.
