The room was quite big. Comfortably can have a large suitcase opened at all times and it won't be in your way. It had a washing/drying machine in the room which made the stay much more convenient. Location was perfect 7-11 just downstairs and 3 different metro station within 8 min walk. Ueno station includes also the Skyliner so it's an easy way to get to and from Narita airport. Views of Tokyo from 20th floor - great.
Pretty small window inside of the room and the bed could have been bigger. There is no cleaning every day - they just showed a schedule on checkin (2 or 3 times per week). They do provide clean towels every day and garbage can be left outside of the room. Wasn't a problem for us, but just something to know

Breakfast exceeded my expectation. It will be good to rotate something every 2-3 days as I stay 5 night. Room is small but that's what I pay for. The skytree view is excellent. I woke up early one day and see sunrise. Room is also quite soundproof. Not much noise compare many hotel I have stayed before. Location is good. Not too busy but just cross the street and walk 30 seconds, already reached all the restaurant and shop. Big 7-11 just downstairs.
Because the room is at more than 20 floor, so the elevator take time to travel. The bathroom can have some hooks as there is no space to put clean clothes. The clock can be digital so it doesn't make tick sound. The floor lamp should be really near floor, too bright if on it for sleep at that height.

Good location. Near to Ueno and Uenokoen station. From Narita airport, it can take direct Skyliner, then arrive hotel directly. There are lots of shops and restaurant near hotel. It is very convenient. Besides, the skytree view is excellent.
It takes time to take lift to 20-23/F to go to hotel room.

Room had a long corridor allowing for luggage space (a bit more than other Japanese hotel rooms). The views are amazing looking out over Ueno Park and on the clearest day we could see Mount Fuji from our window! Breakfast was great with many different things and a Japanese feel (with enough other stuff if you fancied cereals or pastry). Right in the heart of Ueno with great transfer links and so much round about - we were happy we based ourselves here.
Breakfast ends at 9am, which felt unnecessarily stressful to make sure we were up and down by 8:45am (particularly with a toddler to get up and ready). Really think they should consider changing this - if you have to have a sign up in the lifts advising of 'breakfast rush hour' it's probably a sign to keep it going to 9:30 or 10am.

We had 18m² double rooms, city view (not Skytree view) was breathtaking, we had clear weather and saw Mt. Fuji the first morning! Clean rooms, enough space for 2 suitcases, comfortable beds, functional bathroom. We booked breakfast and were happy about it, lot of choice for Asian and European taste, great view from the room too. The hotel is very well positioned, quiet, but close to Ueno station and the lively street markets and Ueno park. Perfect hub for reaching anything in Tokyo and the airport. Elevator is slow, be patient. Staff spoke practically no English, but with very basic Japanese, hands, and Google translator we got along fine. There was also a microwave on our floor to heat up your own food, very practical.

The hotel is located on the top few floors of the building itself. There is a 7-11 on the ground floor of the building itself. My room had a great view of the Sumida area, especially the Tokyo Skytree. Do note that if you are heading to the hotel, it is much more convenient to go from Okachimachi station than Ueno station itself.
The hotel feels slightly dated. There are also alot of marks/scratches left by previous guests and I dont think the hotel will remove them anytime soon. The aircon in my room was slightly dusty and I had to use some wet wipes to clean it to a more bearable state.

The location is convenient and near to Ueno station. The breakfast is nice and has western and japanese choices, and price is also very reasonable. There are washing machines for washing clothes which us a huge plus. I could see Mt Fuji in the distance as well as Tokyo Skytree from the restaurant window/ washing area. The hotel is also a short walk from the Keisei Ueno Station if you are going to take the Skyliner to Narita Airport.

1) Location very near to the Ueno Station for Metro line and Skyline to Narita Airport within walking distance between 3-10 minutes. 2) Convenience location with 24 hours 7Eleven at the ground floor of the hotel. 3) Good View from the room, Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo City View and the Sunrise early morning. 3) Friendly staff 4) Smooth and fast check in and check out process.
Room cleaning service every 3 days once. But no issue for me since the tower will be changed and rubbish cleared everyday.

First and foremost, the view. I had a room with the Skytree view, and there are no buildings nearby that are as high as Crown Hills, so you have an unobstructed view. Also, it’s only about a five-minute walk to Ueno Station, and you can use the overhead pedestrian walkways so you don’t even have to cross traffic. The room seems a bit more spacious than most business hotels, and it’s well laid-out so you don’t feel cramped (although I was there alone). There was also a microwave on the floor by the elevator, so that’s very handy.
If you are staying multiple nights, they won’t clean up your room each day. I don’t need a clean towel every day, but the trash was piling up and I wasn’t clear on whether to set it out or not (my Japanese comprehension is a bit lacking). Also, they seem to be short-staffed on the cleaning crew because you are supposed to be out of the room on a cleaning day between 10:00am and 3:00pm, but they didn’t get there until 4:30 when I was already back in my room. That could be a problem if you’re in the shower when they knock on your door.

The location is the best! It's between Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station. Only few steps to Takeya Building. There is 7-11 on the ground floor, which is perfect! You can see Tokyo Skytree from the room, and on the clear sky day, you may see Mt. Fuji from breakfast room.
The room is quite small. It's not enough to open big luggages, but we manages somehow. There is no closet. There is only 2 hanging hook which is not enough for me. But what frustrate me the most is that it has only Japanese socket. I've been travelled to Tokyo soooo many times, and other hotels have universal socket. So I didn't prepare any travel adapter with me.
