Rooms are clean and in good condition. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and only few min walking from Ueno's busy areas so short distance to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. This hotel shines with very convenient location (which was primary reason for booking this hotel). Hotel is near Ueno station (7-8min walking), Okachimatchi (6-7min walking), Inaricho (5-6min walking) and Shin-Okachimachi (4-5min walking) so we could access pretty much all Tokyo and nearby areas without much trouble.

Rooms are small and can get bit chilly at night if the AC is not used.

The hôtel was very well located, easy access to lots of restaurants, the great Kappabashi district and Asakusa. Also easy walking distance from Akihabara which we loved exploring at night. The room is quite small but it's common in Japan hotels, we had all we needed to have a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to ship our luggage there and also have them store it for us the day of our departure.

It's not so much a negative but just in comparison to other hotel rooms, ours didn't have a small desk area which is usually very practical to put the luggage (or in our case a large travel backpack) to sort through our stuff and organize it. We had to do it on the bed everytime and then close it to store it in the entrance area. Not the worst but if you have a larger suitcase it could be tricky.

There is added security after 9pm at lobby, passcode needed to enter. I like that they provided a table lamp which I used as night light. I can fully open my 28inch luggage. Friendly staff can communicate in English and Chinese. Double room is just nice for 1 person. Luggage weighting machine in the lobby was useful.

I was bitten by some insects after staying for the first night, not sure what kind. There was no full length mirror in the room. There was no electricity plug near the bed.

Location was convenient ....close to restaurants, laundry mat, convenience store, transit, mall...yet far enough so quiet enough to sleep well. The building was secure and comfortable. Service was good. Fresh towels every 2 days as requested as we did not need daily housekeeping. Tea and coffee and water in the lobby and a dining table with seating anyone could use. Extra toiletries in the rooms and lobby if needed. Front desk staffed 9am to 9pm. Detailed instructions for after hours check in provided by email were so easy to follow. Communication with the hotel was so easy and the staff were very responsive and informative.

We arrived too late for check-in, but the staff were incredibly helpful in providing instructions for us to check in ourselves and then complete the process the following day. The location is great in a great neighborhood, very close to the Ueno train station (where you have the Narita Express and the Shinkansen) and also the Tokyo Metro Subway. The hotel itself is great, with great conditions and great value for money. The room is a bit tight, but that's Japan for you, so I have no complaints!

I have no complaints for this hotel. Great on all fronts!

The hotel is conveniently placed near both a subway station and at walking distance from the larger Ueno station. The staff was friendly at check-in. The room itself was clean, provided a mini-fridge and a kettle.

Other comments pointed it out but the rooms are SMALL. It was expected and not an issue in our case, but if you have two large suitcases you won't be able to open them or navigate the room. But again this is very much expected for a room that well priced in center Tokyo. Also for some reason our air conditioner unit had a weird smell so we couldn't use it. Fortunately the room stayed fresh by itself.

The area is very quiet. It is walking distance to Inaricho Station (Ginza Line) and Ueno Station is about 1km away. If you are bringing heavy bags and would like to ride a taxi from Ueno station, it’s about 700 - 1000jpy only. Ueno Park and Ueno Night Market is just around the corner. Staff speaks English and they are also very responsive to your message via Booking app. 7/11 store is also one block away.

It is a budget hotel so expect that the room is not so spacious. However we were able to fit 2 large luggages and our personal bags. Front desk is available from 9am to 9pm only so if you need something you need to inform them during that window. The room has basic equipment, if you need something else - like in my case a flat iron for clothes, you need to ask from the front desk. I hope they can also provide disposable spoon in the common area.

Very convenient hotel well located in Tokyo. Check-in and check out went very smoothly and the staff was extremely nice

No breakfast

We were on top floor level 7, with ample space with 2 double beds and also a tatami area. Great location, walking distance to Ameyoko market street and about 19min walk to Akibahara. Lots of foreigners at market but still a really good vibe. Close to convenience stores and Yamato Transport to take your luggages for forwarding.

Room had a strong and unpleasant smell when the aircon was not turned on. Not sure if from vent. Staff was a little reluctant to help with filling out forms for luggage forwarding until I said I got a prior message from the hotel to confirm they can help.
