Snag little hotel close to Ueno Station. It is slightly bigger than the usual Tokyo rooms with a small raise tatami area. I am glad I paid extra for this as we came with our adult son as a family of three There is free coffee and tea available 24/7, as well as cooking and warming facilities and a dining table in the lobby area. The hotel is unmanned. All communication were done through email or message, which were all very clear. They seem to be quick in responding emails too

Fantastic location, really close to Ueno station (walking distance, even with suitcases). We were able to take an express train from the airport direct to Ueno Station and then just walk from there. The hotel itself is clean and appears to have been recently renovated, as everything seems pretty new and in good condition. The family suite was very nice and worked well for our family of 5. The kids loved the bunk beds positioned above the main beds. I'd definitely consider booking this hotel again for future visits.

Guests should be aware that although this is a technically a hotel it's very small (only 6 rooms I think) and is more like an apartment building - there aren't really any hotel facilities, just the rooms themselves and a small lobby entrance with a desk that I never saw staffed. Most notably you are unlikely to encounter any real human beings working there. Everything is managed online, including door codes, check in and check out, etc. We encountered a fellow guest who really needed to be able to contact hotel staff to ask for assistance with a medical matter, but she was finding it very difficult to make contact. So guests should just be aware of this in advance, that they should not expect the staff and facilities that they might normally associate with the idea of a hotel.

Generally the place is clean and relatively new. However, we are a silver fish on the bed one day. I like that the toilet is separate from the shower. Having a kitchen and a seating area in the lobby is excellent. The proximity to multiple train stations and many food options are definitely the reasons that I would recommend this place. Some oblivious guests may speak loudly late at night to disturb your sleep. Perhaps, a sign to remind them to keep their voice down would be helpful.

You need to give yourself time to go through the check in process before arrival. No reception staff and to get the key codes you have to complete documentation and send photos of your passports.

The location is fantastic and the directions made it easy to find. There is plenty nearby with restaurants and a Lawson on the corner. Just 5 minute walk to the station and plenty of shopping malls. The suite itself was small, but even though there were 6 of us, there was enough space to not feel cramped. The toilet and bathroom are separate and both had all the amenities needed. It suited us just fine and we enjoyed our stay.

There wasn't a kettle or mugs in the room but there was a free vending machine on the ground floor which served delicious teas and miso soup and there was an option for coffee.

Excellent facilities (closer to 4 star hotel facilities for the room) and location is great. 5-10mins walk from Ueno station. Room was very big (for Japan) and has a japanese living room section to it, in addition to the bed area. There are futons stored so the living room can also be turned into a sleeping area if required. The bed had functions for massages etc which was a pleasant surprise.

The location - only 4 min walk from Ueno Station! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free drinks offered downstairs.

We would have liked to see a laundry facility offered on site.

Spacious room excellent for family with childrens!

First time i have been charge by a hotel for a "Cleaning fee" which cost 8000Jpy, almost more than the price for the room itself.

Excellent location but still in a quiet part of Ueno, when we come back we’ll definitely stay in the same area. Really spacious rooms especially for Tokyo Great addition of free orange juice and coffee downstairs. There’s also a communal kitchen which is awesome

Not actually a formal hotel where there’s staff on site but isn’t a problem for us but might be for others.
