Had a great short stay here, since the surrounding is office area, it was nice and quiet to rest at night. Close to a convinience stores and a few restaurant. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Complete amenities to use and everything is as described.

Be careful to not mistaken your exit at the Sengakuji station, also the closest one to the hotel (A4 exit) didn't have elevator so you'll have a hard time going on the stairs with big luggage. You can instead take the other exits (A2) and walk for a bit to the hotel

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel, which is in a very convenient location—just a 3-minute walk from Sengakuji Station (Gate A4). If you have a lot of luggage, though, it’s better to use Gate A2, which is a bit farther with a lift (about 8 minutes). The station is on a direct train line and just a few stops from Haneda Airport, which made our travel very easy. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful, great for a restful night’s sleep. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but there’s a 7-Eleven and a Lawson within walking distance, which came in handy. As with many Japanese hotels, the room was small but very functional and clean. The shared area has coin-operated laundry machines, dryers, a microwave, and even an ice dispenser, which was perfect for summer. The staff were all very friendly and polite.

Housekeeping is done only on specific days, and we were woken up quite early one morning for the room to be cleaned. It's something to be aware of if you’re planning to sleep in.

Big hotel and a warm welcome when arriving. Little stand with amenities on in reception which was handy. Good room size and bathroom. Bed comfortable however pillows a bit hard. Near a few metro stations.

Location is a bit far from the main areas in Tokyo. The metro is very close and cheap but still a good 30-minute journey to get anywhere. The toilet is very loud when refilling and running. Didn't like the fact it's a 10am check out, very easy way to make more money charging guests to stay later. Construction going on behind the hotel and also road side which luckily was quite quiet.

The hotel is just a 3- 5 minute walk from Sengakuji station. This station has 2 main lines Toei Asakusa and Keikyu Main lines. It gives you an easy access to main places like Shinagawa and Shinjuku stations, which can further connect you to main tourist spots in Tokyo. So a very nice option for travel. There is a 7 Eleven and Lawson near the hotel. The staff was really friendly. They let us store our luggage till our check in time. The hotel provides traditional Japanese night dress and toiletries. The size of the room and bathroom was small however that is the case almost everywhere in Japan. Apparently this one was still decently sized than the others that we stayed in. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and equipped with all amenities. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. The hotel provided the luggage courier service- Yamato and it made our travel easy. Over all a great experience and a very nice hotel for the price.

None that I can think of.

Great location, very close to Sengakuji station (direct train links to both airports) and 10 mins walk from another station which we used much more to visit central Tokyo sights. Free ‘proper’ coffee in the lobby from 6-10am and 3pm-1am. Room tiny, but no smaller than other low-cost hotels we could find, and there was space to have two large rucksacks on the floor. Everything was very clean. Fresh towels left on the door handle every day (they don’t clean daily) and items such as robes available in the lobby. This hotel was significantly cheaper than most others we could find and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We also used their luggage transfer to the next hotel - very easy and good value (bags arrive the next day, so should be with us tomorrow!) this service seemed well-run.

Nowhere to eat, other than the bedroom.

Smile Hotel is located very close to the metro line - just a 5-minute walk- and right before reaching it, there’s a 7-Eleven, which makes it really convenient for grabbing breakfast or withdrawing cash in the morning. The room was spacious enough for two people, and the bed was comfortable. It was a quiet place, and the staff was very kind. Check-in and check-out were easy. Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option to stay in. We were able to enjoy Tokyo during the day and rest well after long walks at night.

The hotel is just a few meters from Sengakuji metro station, and is perfect if you want to easily go to Haneda Airport, and also connects easily to the JR Yamanote Line. The room is as expected from a budget hotel in Tokyo, just big enough to sleep in. It is very clean, and the amenities are complete. There is a 7-11 next door, so that's a plus. The staff were very helpful. I forgot an item in my room after I checked out, I was still able to ask for it after coming back in the afternoon. I am very grateful for that

The breakfast add-on was a bit expensive for the food variety included. Aside from the 7-11 next door, there's not much else in the nearby areas to explore. (There's the Sengakuji Shrine where the 47 Ronin were buried, but if you're not into that kind of stuff, nothing exciting)

Friendly staff who were willing to help out if they could. Good lighting controls, which were accessible from the bed itself, which made reading before bed very easy to do. Well located from Sengakuji station, very close, despite some construction happening along the stretch of road, it was still easy to get to and from. Multiple convenience stores, and 24/7 restaurants in extremely close proximity, which was great for late, sleepless nights.

The room was quite cramped, I'm aware space is a luxury in Tokyo, but it did still feel like it could have been used a little better. The elevator was also quite small and cramped which became a small issue when checking out, amongst others also checking out, being unable to fit. Staff, while friendly had some fairly limited English abilities which did impact their service, as it was heavily reliant on google Translate, which could only do so much. The pillows were a strange bead mixture, which was very uncomfortable to sleep on my back with, very hard and lumpy and hard, otherwise bed was comfy

Absolutely fantastic staff at the reception. Welcoming and very helpful with restaurant reservations and anything we asked for. They allowed us to store luggage overnight as we checked out for one night and then checked back in. The rooms are ok sized for Japanese standards and they were comfortable. There is a metro station and 7/11 right next to the hotel. A direct metro line goes to Haneda airport from there which was very convenient for us. There are 2 washing machines and 2 driers in the hotel which we made use of.

The location might be an issue for some - there are no restaurants or places to go as such in the area. But because of the metro station so close it makes it convenient to get around Tokyo.

The staff here are possibly top 10 staff of any hotel I've been to, including 5star hotels. They had irons available at the lobby, along with washer / dryer and offered many other services you would expect from long stay locations. Direct access from airport kk line and access to Toei line for 24hr Tokyo passes.

My phone was having security issues with the wifi, they did offer solutions but I just stuck to my pocket wifi. The location is a bit away from some of the better izakaya / better food places. But there are still a handful of places within walking distance and of course the conbinis are literally nextdoor as well as the station with access to 2 major lines.
