First of all, the location is superb, really close to Akihabara electric town and Suehirocho subway station, as well as Ueno, and reasonably close to Kanda and most of central Tokyo. Second, the room is slightly bigger than what you would normally get in central Tokyo, and reasonably well thought out. There are also several useful facilities on-site, from coin laundry to a somewhat decent onsen (at least when you consider that you are in central Tokyo, and what you are paying for the room). The staff were also really helpful (and understanding) when there was an issue related to my flights, and this pushed the score from an 8/10 to a 10/10, because if you are in the same position, you know this really matters.

Mostly minor issues. To be perfectly honest, as mentioned above, if not for the amazing help provided by staff during a situation, then final score would probably have been 8/10, since e.g. room, breakfast, amenities, etc. could be better for the price paid. But service provided by staff could not have been better.

Front Desk Staff: Were always willing to help and tried their best to understand the challenges we were facing. They would empathetically and earnestly attempt to understand and provide a solution (if possible). We arrived early and left our luggage there while traveling the city, received a SIM card addressed to my name and even shipped our luggage on our way back out of the country. Breakfast: By far better than any continental or morning breakfast I've had elsewhere. While it was a buffet, many of the items were freshly cooked/ baked and the chef was constantly reviewing for any low / needed items. There are more than one chef but we did want to give a special recognition to the woman (apologies did not get her name). We were traveling with two kids, our youngest being just over a year old. The moment she saw us, without prompt (as we did not know this was available), she brought children table ware, and a booster chair which was a huge help. Location: Super easy to get to, conveniently located and with plenty of food available nearby. The 100 YEN for laundry or drying is fantastic. At no point do you feel like you're being constantly upsold or gauged. Prices are fair and the staff willing to help.

Not all the room windows open, which might be a location / regulatory thing but having fresh air for a few minutes when traveling is very convenient.

The breakfast was lovely and loved that they freely offered amenities such as combs, loofahs and green tea near the elevator. I also loved that they gave us fresh towels every morning along with a water bottle and a tooth brush so you don't have to ask for much wen you are staying there. The staff were also very friendly and helpful!

There is only 1 elevator so it takes a while for us to get down or up.

First of all, the location is superb, really close to Akihabara electric town and Suehirocho subway station, as well as Ueno, and reasonably close to Kanda and most of central Tokyo. Second, the room is slightly bigger than what you would normally get in central Tokyo, and really well thought out, so you can fit more stuff (and suitcases) in it than you would normally expect. A lot better in this regard that other Super Hotels I have been to before. There are also several useful facilities on-site, from coin laundry to a somewhat decent onsen (at least when you consider that you are in central Tokyo, and what you are paying for the room). When considering the price, and the location, you really cannot ask for much more than you get. However...

...the breakfast was a disappointment, and also completely crowded at all times; half-way through my stay, I opted to get my own breakfast from a nearby convenience store. Do not be fooled if they say it is included - you are paying for it, it is just not optional. Cleaning also seemed a bit... inconsistent at times, but I have seen worse. Staff at the reception were also occasionally not very helpful (or English-speaking, for that matter), but that varied a great deal depending on the person, and most were really nice. In summary, mostly just minor issues, and nothing that is a dealbreaker.

- breakfast buffet was good, menu changes every day - has complete amenities like pillows, pajamas, toiletries, etc - in house onsen - staff is friendly and accommodating - key-less door is very convenient, no need to fuss with keys - good soundproofing - excellent air-conditioning unit - location is near the main attractions in akihabara but is in a quiet street

- onsen hours for females could be longer

They room boasted about the environment and being environmentally friendly, the breakfast food was delicious and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

It was quite small, the pillow was interesting but not uncomfortable but we mightve just been jetlagged (there are pillows in the lobby you can grab). The bathroom roof was quite low so it made my tall partner (6ft5in) a bit uncomfortable when using the bathroom, as his head touched the roof when he stood straight.

- great price for value, - location was sufficient (really close to the metro, even though Shibuya / Shinjuku are not that close), - many shops and restaurants nearby, - friendly staff, - degustation of local alcohols at certain hours of the day, - a variety of pillows to choose from,

- rooms are small even compared to Japanese standards, and there is no place to store your clothes besides in your suitcase, - limited breakfast options (not so suitable for the European taste),

The breakfast was good, especially the bread products, and the breakfast monitor was very on top of things keeping it refilled and welcoming guest. The hotel staff were friendly, but only one of the front desk people seemed to speak English pretty well an had to be called over to help us check in. We were greeted by the hotel front desk every time we came or went, it was nice to be acknowledged and to know they were paying attention. The free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) at certain times was a nice feature. The on-sight onsen was a nice extra, I did not use it but my son did and said it was invigorating. They also supply with all the toiletries, including brush/comb/toothbrush/shampoo/conditioner/body and hand soap in one, etc. including laundry soap as well, have never had that in the states. You can pick your own pillow upon check in, but most of the pillows were picked over by time we came in late night.

The beds were very uncomfortable, it was basically a mattress topper on top of two box springs. The duvet cover did not stay on well and they had this really heavy bead pillow across the bed that was super uncomfortable. The room and bathroom is super small, not much room for two people to walk in at the same time. The bathtub/shower and the bathroom sink share a faucet, and I have never seen anything quite like that and made the small tub even smaller, but thankfully it was high so was still able to soak in it after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

The staff is really helpful and caring. Breakfast is good with different choices every day Location is convenient to discover Tokyo with several subway options nearby There is a very cheap laundry, very useful

Only one elevator for 14 floors and no stairs was really annoying during rush hours They have only one Onsen, with men and women times alternating : so if you're a mixed couple, it means that you can't go at the Onsen at the same time, and if you're a woman you have to come back to the hotel before 9:30pm if you want to use the Onsen in the evening. Breakfast finishes at 9 am which is quite early, 9:30 would have been appreciated.

Nice size room for tokyo. "Hot spring" bathing facility. Private bathroom with bidet toilet. Free breakfast bar with great food, drinks, coffee. Free pm drinks. The best blackout blind ever! Quiet. Kettle in room. Big TV with big selection of movies available for 1000 yen per 24 hours. Luggage storage before and after check-in and out. Lovely staff and a great location for checking out Ueno and Akihabara.

No early check-in without paying an extra 1000Y per hour. Otherwise there is absolutely nothing to fault.
