The room is pretty spacious for Japanese hotel standards, I was able to open my two big luggages and with still enough space to walk around the room. The price point is also very affordable, considering the location in Shinjuku and the season (sakura season). It is located within walking distance of both Higashi-Shinjuku station and Okubo station, both of which are central to connecting to different parts of Tokyo. I would definitely recommend this hotel as good value for money if you want to stay around Shinjuku

The breakfast area seems too small for the capacity of the hotel - there are always no seats available during breakfast. The hotel I think is aware of it as they have takeaway containers available for those who want to eat inside their rooms instead. The coffee is not good however, so better get some from the 711 across the street.

The location was very convenient for Shin-okubo station and not too far from Shinjuki station. It is also a few minutes away from the louder parts of Shinjuku. Free breakfast was great as well even if you just want to grab something small. Probably my favorite part of the hotel. Will stay again if traveling alone

Although I was okay with it, I do have to mention the bed was pretty hard. It was great for me though as I prefer a slightly harder bed, but if you like softer beds, you're going to be really disappointed

The Toyoko Inn Shinjuku Kabukicho was my home in Tokyo for an unforgettable week, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. This hotel is at the heart of Shinjuku. Just 5 min away from the Station, also a subway at 5 min & 10min from Gyoen nat. garden. Is surrounded by good restaurants. A 7/11, Family Mart & Lawson @ just 1 min. And with just a few minutes walk your in the middle of everything!!! The staff was very nice and my room as well. Not so small as most Tokyo hotelrooms. And for a good price So yes, I will definitly go to Toyoko Inn again. (Went to the location @ Matsumoto as well, loved it too!!)

This property is in a great location. Super close to Asakusa station and the markets and Sensoji temple. Walking distance to Tokyo skytree (although a decent walk) beds were comfy although pillows were those bean pillows they have in Japan and were a bit hard. Single rooms were an ok size, I could open my suitcase which was nice but the bathrooms were quite compact. Basic amenities provided and they allowed us to check out later for a fee of 1000 yen per hour. They had a little 4 step face cleanser/serum amenity at the front which I really liked. They stored luggage for a few hours for free which was appreciated.

The lobby is tiny so gets a bit crowded. The view we had was out onto staircases so not the prettiest but it was ok.

Very well located. Close to central shinjuku with lots of restaurants, bars, clubs, stores and touristic spots. Very good value considering the location and room space. The staff were also very kind, thoughtful, polite and helpful. Checking in and out is very easy and simple.

The area is a bit crowded by drunk and weird people and massage houses hostesses at night and also the walk from the subway to the hotel is a bit long specially when carrying luggage. The room acoustic is also something that could be improved. But yet, the property is very good for the value.

The location was only a few minutes walk from Golden Gai, so it was very conveniently located for Kabukicho while also being far enough away that we weren't bothered by the noise of night life. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, there were several convenience stores in the doorstep, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again!

The closest train station is Shin-Okubo, which is so busy all the time it's a nightmare to navigate with luggage so we found it easier to just walk from Shinjuku station via the SubNade and get our steps in.

Breakfast was excellent and there was food for vegetarians. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and out is very easy and the staff are helpful. The room was quiet and I had a comfortable stay. The bathroom is very clean and the shampoo and conditioner provided were really good.

I would have liked a dim night light in the room, but other than that it was great. More vegetarian options at breakfast would be great, or labels indicating which foods are vegetarian.

location is right near kabukicho, if you're into nightlife. lots of kombinis nearby, as well as good restaurants. Has an in-house laundry. breakfast is simple, but enough. train station is a 6-8 minute walk away. luggage storage available if you arrive early, or need to leave a little later after checkout. staff is really helpful.

bed is on the firm side, only one pillow provided (which is also a bit firm) but extra ones may be borrowed at reception. near a train station, but the most efficient station (Yamanote line) is 15minutes away.

Comfortable room had everything I needed. Especially important in Japanese summer: the room had very good air conditioning! Fresh towels every day. Great location in Kabukicho. Very helpful and efficient staff. Washing machine and dryer worked well.

The breakfast was not bad and I was very grateful, but I really missed more sweet options (I prefer to eat sweet things for breakfast).
