Our short trip to Kinosaki Onsen was perfect and the stay at Asagiriso was a big part of that. The hotel is located just a short walk from the main street but this gives it an advantage of absolutely spectacular views from the rooms. River, flowing fields and storks - perfect view to wake up to. Room was spacious, bright and well equipped. The buffet style breakfast had an unexpected amount of interesting options and everything was very tasty. But the most impressive was the service. We've never experienced such care and enthusiasm from the hotel staff. Even with language barriers they made sure we understand everything, helped us choose yukatas, found extra large sandals for me, provided private transport to the ropeway etc. Extra thanks to the younger, super energetic man who took personal care of us and made sure we have a great time and don't miss our train. Thank you Asagiriso! Best hotel ever!

Truly, some of the most wonderful staff my party has met on vacation. Accommodating, kind, and lovely, they checked with us often in order to make sure everything was up to our standards. The rooms were simple, but I think that’s the beauty in them! They were comfortable and had a phenomenal view. It’s located very close to the main strip of town, but they also offered to drive us if necessary. It was lovely. Also - Great variety for breakfast! So many options available and they were delicious.

Our stay at Asagiriso was exceptional! The staff showed us exceptional hospitality, especially Miyaguchi-san at the front desk who went above and beyond. The hotel facilities are clean and in excellent condition; the room was spacious for two people and equipped with everything we needed and had extra touches for comfort. The bath at the hotel was lovely and it was easy to walk to other bathhouses in town. The hotel is located a little bit off the main walking area, which we liked because it meant it was quiet and peaceful. We could see some nesting storks and the river from our room, which was such a treat! The breakfast buffet was excellent, with many options to choose from and satisfy various tastes. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Asagiriso for providing us with such a wonderful stay. Exceeded our expectations and made for a lasting memory! A note, my partner is able to communicate in Japanese and so he did most of the talking but all of the information and instructions were available in multiple languages and I truly think anyone would be well taken care of, regardless of language.

Our room had a phenomenal view of the river, garden and storks. The included breakfast was awesome! There were a lot of options and all of them were good. The onsen was amazing. The staff were helpful. They drove us to places in town. Everyone was friendly.

The room didn’t have a shower which was not the hotel fault. It was just the room we selected as other rooms have them. However, you can take shower in the bathhouse.

The location was perfect location just outside kinosaki onsens and we walked comfortably to all of the onsens in town in our yukata! They offered male yukata but were happy to let me pick one from the women’s so I could look cuter, I loved my sunflower yukata so much they let me purchase one! They had their own onsens on sight and they were almost more beautiful than the public ones in town. Nothing but a wonderful experience.

Staffs were helpful, even showed us the white stork bird behind the hotel together with the video on a TV. Staffs also explained well how to go about using the QR onsen pass in kinosaki. Value for money during the low season, hotel is at the fringe of the onsen street , you just to walk 3 min and you are there.

All the employees we came in contact with, were extremely helpful, and kind despite the language barrier. The hotel offers a luxurious stay, with the staff being humble and approachable. The hotel onsen was also beautiful, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The view from our room to the garden and the river was great and relaxing, making you feel part of the nature

There was a spectacular view from our room across the river, the onsen has an inside and outside onsen. The volume of food served in our room was impressive as was the range in the buffet for breakfast. You have a free pass to all of the public onsen and they are all diverse so try them all! The town itself is pretty with the river though the middle

Everything was fantastic the hosts where superb, even with a language barrier tried their hardest to speak to us and make us feel very welcome. One of the hosts happily explained what to do in the onsen as I was confused what the correct way of doing things was.

Deffo make sure you take a translation app as there isnt much that has been translated out of Japanese.

Very good breakfast. Nice people, friendly stuff. The view from the window is surprisingly beautiful. Good value for money. We also got free entance to other onsens in the town which made it even better experience.
