Cleanliness, staff was cooperative, and knows English as well. Breakfast has lot of vegetarians options too. You can request Staff for the prepared lunch boxes , when you missed the breakfast due to early morning sightseeing visit. Overall, it was a good experience !!

One Suggestion for Lunch boxes that can be improved by focusing more options for vegetarian. Customizable options also contribute to a better overall lunch box experience for guests.

Highly favourable impressions. A very friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent and it is easy to get around. The view is gorgeous. Excellent conditioning in the room.

A little fridge in the room might be a great addition as it would help keep the drinking water cold and refreshing.

Fine Holiday Inn Express hotel located in the city center! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The room included an iron and an ironing board, which was really handy!

The hotel room interior might need some refreshment (like some areas of walls in the bedroom or the bathroom). Besides, if you’re a coffee lover you probably might want to go for a coffee at a nice coffee shop, than drink coffee at a breakfast buffet.

Price, cleanness, breakfast and staff. The service was good, some of staff were very very helpful, my wife get sick receptionist ALINA help us calling doctor, and she stand with us for more than half an hour translating, and every time and then she was checking if everything is ok, I really appreciate that.

A bit far from the city town. And the hotel charge me double charge for 4 nights, I realize that when I came back home, I email the hotel but no response, I call, they said write us email, I wrote again, they said we can’t find your name, I send them copy of the reservation, they said we can’t find that we change you double, I send them copy of the statement, after that they kept quiet no reply, despite my several emails, they just ignoring. I contacted my credit card office and submitted the dispute, within 2 days credit card agent refunded me my money back.

The location was ok, close enough to the city center, but we've been using taxi to move around anyway, so it really didn't matter much. The mountain view from the windows was great though. The bed was comfy, the room clean, every day we got a fresh bottle of water, pretty handy to take with you on a walk. Overall, everything you'd expect from a 3-star chain hotel was there.

The breakfast was meh, a very small selection of bland cheeses and meats, awful scrambled eggs, very little fruit and veggies. The only redeeming thing about it was the coffee machine. We tried having breakfast there once and then decided it wasn't worth waking up for.

The room was very comfortable, the bed was just perfect. Brilliant cleanliness, special commendations to the very nice cleaning staff. The hotel bar was very cozy and I especially liked the nosy, international atmosphere, while I was working from my comfortable armchair.

The immediate surroundings of the hotel do not offer much to do and walking around is not the best idea either, there are no restaurants, parks or shops in the near. Unfortunately, the hotel is so overbooked that it was impossible to extend my stay.

The Location is fine , and the breakfast is mazing , suited for all ethnic peoples like Asians , Westerns etc

Even though it is moderate winter , and since the room is having the fixed window , and not able to open for fresh air , the AC is not functioning properly for circulation of air . This is reported to the reception , and however not solved in the next two days . This is a big concern , and unable to have a proper sleep . This facility is a big concern

The location was very convenient since it is near a mall, which is just 5-10mins away. It is also near some of the tourist spots. Overall, it is great starting point to your itinerary.

Facilities were great, just the elevator which is always full. They only have 2 elevators which can easily gets crowded.

Design of the hotel is pleasant, clearly for business travelers but it also works well for us. Very comfortable, just missing a few things like hand bidet and fridge in the room. Helpful staff, most of them speak English well and conduct professionally, and will do all they can to assist - for this I'd like to point out several occasions I was helped by a Assanali at the reception. Almaty is a pleasant city to walk, and with a metro station not far from the hotel, it is quite convenient to get to quite a few places for food, shopping or sightseeing. Lastly, breakfast is good - you're not spoilt for choice, but have enough options to cover cold/warm starters, mains, salads, cereals etc. I especially like the baursak (a kind of bread) served here.

Nothing's perfect, so here goes: 1. people talking from the corridor can be quite audible if they talk loud enough but overall noise level is acceptable, 2. the gap of the bathroom door is just high enough to run my toe under it, so be warned, 3. there's no gym, and 4. if you're looking for a view, there's nothing much to look at unless the smog clears up to reveal the snow-capped mountains (it did on our last day in Almaty).

In the elevators floors are not leveled, wheeled laggage can not roll smoothly. Need to improve exhaust system inside the bathroom, as if two people wants to use after each other its a bit uncomfortable.
