We had a fantastic stay at Reikartz Sky Almaty. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean with a very good shower. The reception staff, especially Alina, were very helpful and polite. They helped us with car hire and also printed off some paperwork. They also speak very good English. Location is excellent in the city centre and because we were on the 13th floor there is hardly any noise so it's nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have only one minor complaint. The breakfast area is really nice, on the 18th floor, with a really good view of the city, but the serving area is too small. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food or the selection, but it can be a little uncomfortable if two or three people are trying to get coffee, cereal, toast etc. at the same time. Also, breakfast staff are very pleasant but are reactivate as opposed to proactive. Every day we had to ask for one of the following, milk, cutlery, plates, mugs or water for the coffee machine. Sort this out and it'll be 10/10

Stayed 6 nights (half board). Highly impressed with the clean and comfortable rooms. Great location within walking distance of all main attractions. The Sky 17 restaurant for breakfast and evening meals has terrific views of the city and mountains. Reception is on the 17th floor. The Steps up to the entrance of the hotel needs a little maintenance the hotel is predominantly a business hotel with conference facilities but is also ideal for tourists. What made our stay memorable and special was the kindness of the staff. It was our first time in Kazakhstan and not knowing the language or what to expect. Aigerim and Guljaina on reception with their young apprentice Nikolaev, made us feel at ease with a smile and reassurance who sorted out all our taxis gave info on sims for phone / exchange currency, where to go, what to see along with organising early morning breakfast boxes. Thank you. The Restaurant staff, Amina, Valeria, Natali and the barman Zasulan (Milkman) also greeted us with a warm smile. Amina and Valeria whose English was exemplary took time to explain the menu gave tips on local customs and traditions and it felt at times we were having dinner with friends. I cannot praise them enough, all of them were exceptional, professional, super nice with great attitudes but most of all they were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The are a credit to this hotel. Would we stay again? “YES”

Most places seem to deteriorate over time, not this place. Our stay here was even better than the time before. The room was much nicer (it was a level up and maybe our expectations were different) but the staff were excellent and every thing worked really well.

The breakfast was room service which was nice, it was a bit flat though.

View from our room was amazing! The room was large and very clean. We had dinner on the rooftop and everything was amazing, the view, the staff and the food. We didn't have breakfast on the rooftop as we were being pick up too early but the staff arranged for a breakfast box for us which was very nice.

We had a bit of trouble actually finding the hotel initially - our google maps was telling us it was around the corner

The hotel was as expected. We stayed here twice during our vacation and both rooms were really spacious. The AC was really good because it didn't blow directly towards the bed. The breakfast was good.

Cramped and crowded elevators. Once we had to wait 9 minutes before we could fit in the elevator.

AC in the room is not up to mark as it is centralized,the room is not getting optimum temperature which is required.and the breakfast is pathetic,same menu everyday lack of variety,the fruits served are not fresh.

The entrance of Hotel pathetic and confusing. It can trigger your mind to cancel the reservation. This will also force you to enter the hotel with negative emotions. This can be avoided with good parking facility and good enterance on the ground floor. Some representative of hotel must meet/greet guest at ground floor this can completely change guests views of hotel. No parking facility.

One of the lifts was always out of order, which made it difficult at times, since the rooms start from the 13th floor onwards

The location is great, around the center of the city. Very convenient to reach all sightseeing's with taxi since it's very cheap there. The rooms had nothing missing. Very spacious and somewhat modern. The bathroom was especially great. Since hotel is in top floors of one of the highest buildings around it has a great panoramic view to the city from the rooms. Breakfast had nothing missing already, big variety to choose from for all tastes. Staff were friendly, speaking English well so we had no issues.

Do not have anything to complain about actually.
