We had a fantastic stay at Reikartz Sky Almaty. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and clean with a very good shower. The reception staff, especially Alina, were very helpful and polite. They helped us with car hire and also printed off some paperwork. They also speak very good English. Location is excellent in the city centre and because we were on the 13th floor there is hardly any noise so it's nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have only one minor complaint. The breakfast area is really nice, on the 18th floor, with a really good view of the city, but the serving area is too small. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food or the selection, but it can be a little uncomfortable if two or three people are trying to get coffee, cereal, toast etc. at the same time. Also, breakfast staff are very pleasant but are reactivate as opposed to proactive. Every day we had to ask for one of the following, milk, cutlery, plates, mugs or water for the coffee machine. Sort this out and it'll be 10/10

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement at Reikartz Sky Almaty My recent stay at the Reikartz Sky Almaty Hotel offered a largely positive experience, particularly highlighting the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations. The room itself was a definite strong point. I found it to be both clean and remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax and feel at ease during my stay. This is always a crucial factor for a comfortable hotel experience, and Reikartz Sky Almaty certainly delivered in this regard. Furthermore, the staff throughout the hotel were consistently courteous. Their polite and helpful demeanor contributed significantly to a pleasant atmosphere and made interactions smooth and welcoming. The breakfast offered was acceptable, though not outstanding. While it provided the necessary sustenance to start the day, it was fairly standard and didn't particularly stand out in terms of variety or quality.

The primary area for improvement, in my opinion, was the reception service. While not overtly negative, the experience at the front desk was "not great." This could encompass a range of issues from efficiency to warmth of welcome, suggesting that this particular touchpoint could benefit from further attention to elevate the overall guest experience. Despite the minor setback at reception, the positive aspects of the clean and spacious room, coupled with the courteous staff, made for a generally comfortable stay at Reikartz Sky Almaty. With a little refinement in their front desk operations, this hotel has the potential to offer an even more exceptional experience.

In short, I wish I was able to find this hotel earlier! - "Mountain View of Tianshan" from the rooftop restaurant "SKY 17" and the terrace on the front floor is amazing! I spent genuine "good morning" there. I hope there are no obstacle objects in the roof of nearby architectures, so that guests can enjoy the view. - Dinner is also available at that restaurant, and they offer 20% off discount for guests. - Convenient access by city bus to many of the sightseeing spots in the city. Metro Baikonur station is not close from here, within 15mins by foot. The city bus #92 from close-to-Airport area stops definitely at the foot of the building of this hotel, the bus top "Shevchenko str."! That road, Nauruzbay Batyr str is a one-way road, so we have to walk to Shertoksan str., the neighbouring road for going up to the northern direction. - Everything in the room are new and kept clean. Shower facility, wash basin, toilet are quite new. I spent quite a comfortable night. - No noise comes in from the street thanks to the height. - Front staffs are helpful enough to spend nice moments in the city, and they are fluent in English. - There are some shops such as "SPAR", cafe, and currency exchange in the neighbourhood.

- Buffet breakfast was so-so, less than the value of the room rate they offer. There are standard variety of meals, but there are nothing unique for Almaty or Kazakhstan. As for fruits, condition of cut pieces of apple was not good, turning brown, so one other guest made complaints on it. - The appearance of the entrance of the building is just an ordinary pre-modern business complex(?). The door should be replaced to automatic door.

Stayed 6 nights (half board). Highly impressed with the clean and comfortable rooms. Great location within walking distance of all main attractions. The Sky 17 restaurant for breakfast and evening meals has terrific views of the city and mountains. Reception is on the 17th floor. The Steps up to the entrance of the hotel needs a little maintenance the hotel is predominantly a business hotel with conference facilities but is also ideal for tourists. What made our stay memorable and special was the kindness of the staff. It was our first time in Kazakhstan and not knowing the language or what to expect. Aigerim and Guljaina on reception with their young apprentice Nikolaev, made us feel at ease with a smile and reassurance who sorted out all our taxis gave info on sims for phone / exchange currency, where to go, what to see along with organising early morning breakfast boxes. Thank you. The Restaurant staff, Amina, Valeria, Natali and the barman Zasulan (Milkman) also greeted us with a warm smile. Amina and Valeria whose English was exemplary took time to explain the menu gave tips on local customs and traditions and it felt at times we were having dinner with friends. I cannot praise them enough, all of them were exceptional, professional, super nice with great attitudes but most of all they were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. The are a credit to this hotel. Would we stay again? “YES”

Don’t worry about the entrance - the reception is nice and the rooms are really cool! Clean and huge bathrooms, comfy beds, lovely views. The breakfast was generous and delicious, served on the roof. Thank you for my birthday cake, it was a lovely surprise! :)

The elevators could be “smart”, sometimes you stop in a floor, where there’s nobody (because they were probably served by the other elevator). This is not particularly bad, just a recommendation to work on something.

The room was super spacious, clean and comfortable. The views from the breakfast terrace are very nice. Great breakfast variety. The staff were lovely. One of them even helped me book my bus to Bishkek as the reservation website was only available in Kazakh and Russian. Download Yandex Go to be able to zip everywhere in the city and around. I recommend this place.

It would have been nice for the mini fridge to be cooler to keep my water nice and chilled on these hot summer days.

Moquette, a bit out of date

Most places seem to deteriorate over time, not this place. Our stay here was even better than the time before. The room was much nicer (it was a level up and maybe our expectations were different) but the staff were excellent and every thing worked really well.

The breakfast was room service which was nice, it was a bit flat though.

View from our room was amazing! The room was large and very clean. We had dinner on the rooftop and everything was amazing, the view, the staff and the food. We didn't have breakfast on the rooftop as we were being pick up too early but the staff arranged for a breakfast box for us which was very nice.

We had a bit of trouble actually finding the hotel initially - our google maps was telling us it was around the corner

The hotel was as expected. We stayed here twice during our vacation and both rooms were really spacious. The AC was really good because it didn't blow directly towards the bed. The breakfast was good.

Cramped and crowded elevators. Once we had to wait 9 minutes before we could fit in the elevator.
