Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I enjoyed that the shower heated up quickly & water pressure was sufficient (which isn't always the case). I liked having the coffee bar available as a backup to the coffeemaker in the room.

Services and amenities ended up not being available. Based on the info sheet we got at check in, we expected to be able to have a shuttle take us somewhere at 9:15am on Sunday. However, it turned out no one was available so we had to pay for ride share. While the restaurant and hot tub weren't available, we ended up not needing them. Having options for pillow thickness would have been great. As a stomach sleeper, the pillows were too thick & I slept without one.

Location to State Fair was key for us. We were also allowed an early check in, which was so appreciated. Very clean.

We were super disappointed that we weren't allowed the shuttle to the Fair. In past years we were able and on website it's listed as an amenity. We were told unless we purchased The State Fair package we could not have access. When we tried to purchase this package when booking the room, however, it said not available. This was a main reason for staying here. Instead had to Uber. Will remember for future trips to the fair.

The shuttle was still not available to every guest depite it sitting there for hours not moving. Tv channels were bare minimum. Our room was basically tidied up. Found a bandaid in the bed. Food particles on the chair & didn't smell fresh. Outdated.

The food was good but , I think there should be more options for visitors that are vegetarians or vegan besides a tone of carbs . Also , overly cold in the conference rooms . All in all my stay was amazing . I couldn't ask for a better stay .

Very clean! Very quiet! Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious and very comfortable, including the bed. My favorite employee was the gentleman who fixes breakfast. He was nice and wanted to make sure we were always taken care of.

You only get housekeeping when you ask and then don't expect much. They left us towels, garbage sacks and toilet paper in a bag on our bed. Nice would have been them taking the trash, putting the rolls of paper on the holder, and take the old towels. This property does charge a resort fee on top of taxes. Maybe a little too much product on shower/bathroom floor, making it slick with wet feet. Marketplace was empty until Friday.

The location is great because it is close to Froedtert and that is the main resaon for our stay.

I don't like that they don't have the lounge open or for the price we pay there isn't even a continental breakfast. We have to leave the hotel to go have a drink after traveling to get to the hotel and if we want to eat our choice is to choose from a faded copy of restaurants that either deliver or you can drive to. After driving to get to the hotel it would be nice to just be able to relax and enjoy the pool and lounge but in all the four times, we have stayed it has never been open.

It is a very nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The staff was absolutely wonderful though. We had a dog with us and maybe that is why we got the room that we did, which had some damage to some of the furniture. The location was great.

While to lobby looked nice there is a thick layer of dust on the top of the lights over the front desk. We had a dog with us and maybe that is why we got a room that had damage to the wood furniture. There was very little water pressure, however, we were on the 8th floor which might account for that. It would be great if the pillows were not so huge. Not really good for my neck but others may like them. Bed was a bit lumpy.

The staff was very friendly and the room was great. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was well located.

The buffet was very low on food at 8:30 and we were told that it was over in 15 minutes so they weren't going to bring out any more. There were a large number of people there, and they were asking for more. We decided to go elsewhere as it was really picked over and not worth the price at that point.

The staff at Sonesta were amazing, friendly, helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable and the coffee in the lobby was a great touch! It was evident throughout our stay that the staff could tell that their property was essentially serving as an impromptu shelter for untold Milwaukeeans without power and heat — and they rose to the occasion with seemingly endless kindness and patience we will never forget.

The restaurant would have been nice if it was open, but I understand!

The gentleman at the desk did explain the chef hard an emergency. Sunday, would have been better if we new there was going to be breakfast.

My brothers room, coffee maker was dirty,614. My room missing refrigerator, was not happy, 214. Standing in line to check in I over heard the times for breakfast and the pool hours, but when we were checking in this was not mentioned to us, if I wouldn't have over heard this it would not have been told to us. There was no breakfast Saturday and no explanation, when my husband ask.
