Beautiful hotel, upgraded room. Fabulous spa.

Unable to eat there! Reception unable to help regarding booking a table or if there were breakfast options, told to go to the restaurant and ask there. Unable to book a table on line The cages by the lifts containing towels were there for the duration of our stay ( Wednesday to Friday) If you are not going to enter the room during a two night stay, then please provide enough tea, milk and toilet rolls!

Receptionist was speaking on telephone and no acknowledgement until after a period of three to four minutes.. She knew we were at reception yet we were blanked during this time. A friendly recognition would have been welcome so initial experience POOR. UPON ENDING THE CALL did acknowledge but then proceeded to use the computer keyboard No other customers or staff at desk. Poor outset experience Shower controls either too hot or tepid water

Comfortable, beautifully decorated for Christmas Great location for access Parking

The property was fine but one of the guests on our corridor left an unattended dog for hours to bark and whimper. We were disturbed by this and alerted the reception staff. Apparently they spoke to the owners who then repeated this by leaving it unattended later the same day when they went out in the evening and we couldn’t get to sleep for the barking. Not directly an issue of the hotel but one which they need to address robustly as it is really upsetting to hear a distressed animal whilst trying to enjoy a relaxing break.

Good Location

When I book a hotel of this stature for a mini-break I do not expect to have to book a time slot for breakfast the evening before!!!!!!!!! plus we had to book a dinner time when the Dining Room, when we got there had 6 people in a large area. We should not be returning.

We liked the location, room size, facilities and staff. Price was good too

3rd time staying 3rd time damp mould around needs bleach cleaning Room 224 - Flush needs to be sorted.. took around 8 pushes to work If we had paid more than £65 a night then we would expect a part refund for windows, flush and sad paintwork on bathroom door Will not book via call centre again as prices offered higher than online. Lovely hotel in a good location for Norwich. The staff were always polite and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and were given a lovely room with a lounge area and huge bathroom. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, it even had a coffee maker. When we booked in we were told the hotel policy was not to provide room service unless we requested it, but to ask for fresh towels etc when they were needed. Initially, we felt this was a poor idea, but in reality it was absolutely great! We are tidy people, but we didn’t need to keep the room totally tidy all the time, which was brilliant and we found it was a much more relaxing stay. We used the spa which was good, though a little busy at times, but still enjoyable. Our room had towelling gowns and slippers which was very convenient for visiting the spa. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant each day. The breakfast buffet was fine with plenty of choice. The dinner menu and food was a good standard and very reasonably priced. The wine menu was reasonably priced too. We enjoyed our stay. It is a well located hotel within easy proximity to the coast and the top end of the Norfolk Broads. We will definitely stay here again.

Although the buffet breakfast was ok with plenty of choice, the selection of fresh fruit to have with yoghurt was either prunes or grapefruit, which was disappointing. Other fruit & berries would have made breakfast good. There was a fruit bowl with apples and oranges, but this would have been difficult to slice into a bowl. I did ask for a banana and the staff brought me one from the kitchen which was brilliant. The above was only a small niggle on what was a lovely break in a lovely hotel.

Specious rooms, good swimming pool area with jacuzzi, sauna and steaming room, breakfast was really good. Dinner menu was limited, but food was fresh and tasty. Staff is super friendly and helpful, thank you! Overall it was really good impression.

1) high pillows+soft mattresses= aching neck in the morning; 2) black curly hair found in bed linen and in bathroom on arrival - no room supervisors?; 3) no sleepers and bathrobes, as well as no water in the room, we had to buy a bottle of water in restaurant. Tap water provided on breakfast and in the lobby had awful taste; 4) toiletries were provided just for 1 person, but immediately delivered after our request - again question to housekeeping manager. 5) one bulb in the lamp on the table was missing. Another, next to the bed was flashing. But again everything was improved immediately after the request. So, housekeeping service was really weak. 6) coffee for breakfast was very weak… would be great to get better coffee machines.

Spa, good size rooms, reception.

The bedroom and bathroom should have been cleaned daily. We stayed for 4 nights with no cleaner. I’ve never experienced this before. Presumably to save money.

The pool, spa, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were fantastic. The hotel is an amazing building. The bar and communal areas were really comfortable, clean and felt very luxurious. This is the second time we have been and it really didn't disappoint.

The rooms are comfortable but are looking very tired now. The bed was really comfortable and the room had everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The furniture, fixtures and fittings all looked they were well overdue a good refurbishment or replacement but that really didn't detract from the overall quality of our stay. £15 for a breakfast is a bit steep as well.

Tried to get into the restaurant which was empty but was told we had to book, and we would have to wait an hour? We looked in again later but was still empty so unsure why we couldn’t have just ate there was only 2 of us? Ordered takeaway instead!
