The location was perfect - central (5 minutes from the excellent night market) but down a small side street so not noisy** Reception staff awesome - they could not have done more, even down to interrupting them when off duty to book a trip for me! Really anything would be done to accommodate. Thanks to all the staff. Facilities great - two swimming pools! Ask for room(s) with a balcony - much nicer to wake up in the morning and have a coffee outside your room. **The easiest way to find the hotel is to get to the “Redbull” bar and go down the street to the right (facing the bar entrance). A short way down the street there is a sign for the hotel and indicting to turn right - just follow the small road round to the left and down and you’ll get to the hotel.

The room was really beautiful and clean overlooking the Namkhan river. It comes with two glass bottles of water replenished each day. Breakfast is a la carte with a variety of options. The pool is small but makes for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring.

These aspects are outside property control and still they should be noted. During my four days stay, an entire place was torn down next door with sledgehammers and everything. Impact is likely to continue if a new house is built. Also, a small riverside walkway is a 1-minute walk down the river and the stage is literally two huts away with live music (it ended at around 10pm). I had picked a place outside the central area not knowing about this and could not find the quietness that I was looking for.

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed - hot shower, fridge, etc. The receptionist/owner was very lovely and sorted out transport for us too. The location is great, about 10 mins walk to the night market and plenty of bars/restaurants a short walk away.

The pool was out of use throughout our 2-day stay which didn’t bother us but might have been an issue for people that chose this place solely for that. Also expect a 7 AM wake up with some music blasting from the building site just below the accommodation (yes, including weekends).

The bedrooms were really really nice, you could adjust the lights in three modes so it would fit your needs. Very clean and they renew the soap and everything every day. They even provided a toothbrush (although at the end they provide a new one every day, we don't need that much! And it is so much plastic. Breakfast was excellent. I would like to stand out the exceptional attention of Lin. He was super attentive, respectful and useful all the time. He even helped us to buy train tickets trying to help us to pay the real amount and not the commission that's usually charged. Our phones couldn't download the app, but he was very thoughtful in suggesting.

Our bed was comfortable at the beginning but after a couple of nights we both started to feel pain in our backs. We realised there were wholes or bumps in the mattress. Maybe they need to renew them Noone of the staff talked english. No one but Lin so he had to deal with practically everything :(

Location was great, hidden down an alley right near Nam Khan River & close to the Mekong & night market. Room was nice, clean, rather large & bright with a balcony overlooking the pool. Storage space was in abundance. Mini fridge & tea kettle, always appreciated. Breakfast included was very good. Free water refills & oranges avail 24/7. They were able to arrange day tours & onward transport. Staff was friendly & attentive. Note that there are two hotels that they use interconnecting (as I read in another review) so the building I stayed in was not overlooking the courtyard/pool (but thought I had booked), rather I stayed in the other building overlooking a different single pool. However this was no issue & actually preferred.

The shower was severely slow to drain, water pressure was weak & water did not get very warm.

A lovely, green setting back from the busy main road. Our room was clean and comfortable with a spacious balcony overlooking one of two pools. Set menu breakfast presented a good variety of Western-style options. Staff arranged taxi transport to the train station.

We were told to “just wait” for hot water to arrive in the shower, but alas, after repeated attempts at running the water, hot water never did arrive.

The view from the top floor balcony was fantastic. Great location - close to eateries and a big supermarket and not far from the centre. Beautiful wooden floors. Filtered water comes in refilled glass bottles, not plastic. Sustainably packaged toiletries.

Tv didn't work. Shower water pressure was poor.

The location and vibe of the resort were great. It was rustic and we could really immerse ourselves in the sleepy and calm fabric of luang prabang. The receptionist, Mr. Lin was a delight. Very helpful, always smiling and warm, kind and a very positive happy person to be around.

The cleaning team could have taken more effort to clean the rooms.

This was my first stop in Laos. So you are not in Thaisas anymore. Easy enough to get to from the airport, good location close to the river. Superfriendly Manager Thin. The Redbul bar around the corner has VERY good happy hour.

See if you want to be directly in old town. Breakfast was a bit random but turns out that is a thing in Laos. Sometimes communication was a bit difficult. Floors are not even so a bit hard sometimes to move (in your hotel room and around the hotel).

I had room Number 1 and the view from there is one of the best I've ever had. The view is also great from No. 2-3 but not so hot from the other rooms. The room and its decor are absolutely beautiful. Plastic-free filtered water available - as much as you want. Sustainable toiletries and REAL green tea - not teabags. Fabulous shower pressure. The pool seemed clean, but there aren't enough poolside lounging chairs. It's really beautiful but I wouldn't stay again - see comments re noise.

Unfortunately, the neighbour seems to be a function centre and on 2 of the 3 days I was there, incredibly loud music played for hours. It was impossible to relax by the pool, or sleep. Not the hotels fault, but you need to know. Also, breakfast portions are small and they use single-use plastic straws.
